When to use 'Web dynpro ABAP' and when to go for 'Web Dynpro Java'

I am trying to learn 'Web dynpro ABAP' from tutorials available on SDN as i am presently working in ABAP. I am also Java learned.
Please tell me the selection criteria for using Web Dynpro component / application using ABAP or JAVA.

Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Third-party cases can interfere with the autofocus/exposure feature and the flash (iPhone 4 only); try removing the case if you have image-quality issues with photos.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.

When to use a JMS Bridge and when to use a Proxy

Hi,
We currently are running an OSB with most connections coming in via MQ to a JMS queue. We've been asked to implement a JMS Bridge.
Wen using a messaging bridge to a foreign provider, the documentation recommends using the Foreign JMS option to simplify the creation of bridge destinations anyway.
The key difference with using the bridge, is that you remove responsibility for the network transfer of messages from OSB's proxy and give it to the bridge. However, this now means that the messages are stored in WebLogic JMS with all the implications that brings. Is that really what you want? Isn't the whole point of MQ to be your reliable messaging service and not to use WebLogic JMS instead/as well?
But the Solutions design team mention
Without bridge
MQ >--------Receive -------->---------Send ---------> JMS
| ....... Transaction 1 ....| .....Transaction 2 ......|
With bridge
MQ >--------Receive -------->---------Send ---------> JMS
| ....... ............Transaction 1 .......... ......|
Is this true, so we have to use a bridge?

I think your solution design team is wrong..
MQ --> OSB Proxy Receive ---> OSB Proxy Send --> JMS will be a single XA transaction.
An OSB proxy is preferred in this case for the following reasons:
1. Don't use bridge for receiving messages . Bridge should be used rather for sending messages to non highly available remote messaing providers. Even for this case weblogic recommends SAF .
2. Whatever the savings on transaction as mentioned by your design team doesn't appears to be correct.
3. Weblogic messaging bridge appears to be a buggy product. You will have to apply a couple of patches to make the bridge to work as expected. It will take some time to stabilise it in a production environment. Weblogic's EJB container is much stable and with MDB's it would be less prone to bugs. This is from my personal experience. Others might have a different experience.
4. You can leverage the out of box monitoring facilities provided by OSB. This can give you stats of how many messages were transferred between MQ and JMS, average & max response time etc.

You can launch the Web Dispatcher Interface through the follwing link:

The Username & Password are created when the profile is run for the first time. The userid is ICMADM
This link points to the web disaptcher administration interface & its usage.
You can set the trace level once you login to the interface.

Also is there any way I can change the contact form email for all of my contact forms at once.
I have over 100 contact forms and i want to make them reach the same email anyway I can do that without going one by one?

If you have placed the image in Muse using File > Place and then scaled the image down in Muse while editing, then Muse publishes/exports the scaled down/optimized image in final output. When using as a Fill, the output size depends on the Fitting option you setup in the Fill options.
As for the contact form email, you would need to specify the email address for each form individually. There is no workflow to edit the same for multiple forms at a time.

Authorization objects in web dynpro ABAP and SU24 transaction

Hi,
I have created a new authorization object to check a storage location for certain activities. I have added the authorization object in a specific web dynpro ABAP and I have created a new role in PFCG for my web dynpro ABAP.
The organization level for storage location is not recognized in PFCG. Someone told me I have to maintain my authorization object in SU24 as it is done for transaction.
I wanted to maintain my web dynpro in SU24 but I found no way to do that.
It seems that we can maintain authorization for TADIR service and in those services there is R3TR WDYA but when I use the search help for OBJ_NAME I don't find may web dynpro ABAP. I suppose I have to create a TADIR service for my web dynpro ABAP or something like that but I don't know how to do ?
Does anybody know how to deal with specific authorization in web dynpro ABAP and t ohave the organizational level recognized in PFCG.

Please RUN the function module as "AUTH_TRACE_WRITE_USOBHASH" with following parameter
R3TR
"custom webdynpro application"
SERVICE TYPE and Service can be kept blank
after this try SU24 it will be available in SU24 list.

It always advisable to go to service.sap.com/instguides.
slow and steady wins the race.
good luck.
It's advisable to have quad processor with atleast 8GB ram.
If it's a nw04s then at a shot you can select AS ABAP. JAVA, EP, PI(XI) and proceed.

Hi Ravi,
The following are basic differences between ABAP and JAVA WD.
1. ABAP WD can be developed in ABAP Workbench thru transaction SE80 whereas Java WD needs SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.
2. Since ABAP WD is a part of the ABAP Workbench, it has direct access to ABAP dictionary. Hence access is faster.
3. In order to develop on ABAP WD, you will need basic knowledge of ABAP objects, whereas in Java WD, dev is using Java

AT USER-COMMAND is a list Event.This Event is triggered when user make an action on the Application Toolber Or Menubar.
Here is the Program.
START-OF-SELECTION.
SET PF-STATUS 'TEST'.
WRITE: 'Basic list, SY-LSIND =', sy-lsind.
AT LINE-SELECTION.
WRITE: 'LINE-SELECTION, SY-LSIND =', sy-lsind.
AT USER-COMMAND.
CASE sy-ucomm.
WHEN 'TEST'.
WRITE: 'TEST, SY-LSIND =', sy-lsind.
ENDCASE.
This program uses a status TEST, defined in the Menu Painter.
Function key F5 has the function code TEST and the text Test for demo.
Function code TEST is entered in the List menu.
The function codes PICK and TEST are assigned to pushbuttons.
The user can trigger the AT USER-COMMAND event either by pressing F5 , or by choosing List -> Test for demo, or by choosing the pushbutton 'Test for demo'.The user can trigger the AT LINE-SELECTION event by selecting a line.

This means that the phone you have was software unlocked to use on any carrier, or hacked. When you installed the update it restored the lock that originaly came with your phone. Not much you can do now. Apple will not support hacked phones. You will need to find out the carrier your phone is locked to and see if they offer official unlocking, or start googling to see if you can find a way to unlock 4.2.

DURIM - Okay. I would expect the "Cache Warning" message because your default directories would not be the same as the ones in the settings file I generated.
If you go back to the "7.0" directory and open the "Logs" folder, can you copy the "Audition Log.txt" file and send it as an attachment to [email protected]? We'll take a look in that logfile and see if it gives us more information about why this is failing now.
Also, do you have any other Adobe applications installed on this machine, such as Premiere Pro? If so, do they launch as expected or fail as well?
I do have the trial Pro version of Adobe reader, but I have not activated it, because I fear the same thing will happen did it. I cannot afford to activate the subscription for that product and take the chance of it not working either. I depend on those two programs religiously. Here is the files that you requested. I appreciate any help you can give me to get this audition program started
