When trying to create a site, I am unable to save the site.

Dreamweaver tells me "WARNING: the Spry assets folder is not inside the site. Please select a valid folder in the local site root." Help! I am unable to create any site.

Also, when will the next version of GoLive (the real pro version, not the watered down entry level version Adobe now offers) be ready? It is was so vastly superior to DW.
In case you've been living on a distant planet, GoLive is no more. Adobe discontinued it in April, 2008. The code it generated was horrible and didn't meet W3C modern web standards.
They tell you to locate your site before you create it.
The first step in creating a site is to DEFINE a local site folder in DW. Without this critical first step, DW cannot manage your pages, links, CSS files, and other assets for you.
Go to Site > Manage Sites > NEW and tell DW where on your hard drive you want to keep your local site folder.

Error when trying to give permissions to users and adding them to the site

Hi,
i'm facing an issue with a public website (SharePoint server 2010) where i can't add any users (windows users) or grant permission for them.
I checked the Authentication Provider for the web application and Windows Authentication NTLM is enabled, the IIS also enable windows authentication for that site.
the issue happens when i go to Site Action --> Site Permission --> Grant Permissions --> I select users after searching for them and once i click OK Exception is appearing.
I check the logs and all i found is:

This is production server site so i can't try lots of options unless i'm sure of them
Event viewer is not capturing any error

This could be browser issue, please try adding site in trusted site in browser or try to some other browser like Chrome/Mozilla.
I have faced this issue when I try to access site from server in IE, it get failed on "OK" when adding user.

Error message when trying to create a unique name

Why do I keep getting an Error message when trying to create a unique name for a location on your site. I am simply looking to use your free 2GB space to store some pics and vids but keep getting an error message.

How come Leopard let me use the WGM in standard mode?
While SA complains that it won't work in Standard Configuration, WGM does not. There is some fault in the logic of this for which I don't have an explanation.
If I want to get control on Dock, selection of Home folder, config of Proxy... which I think are basic things, do I really need the advanced mode?
If you wish to have complete control of all client settings, yes. There really is no disadvantage of using an Advanced configuration other than the learning curve.
So if I switch to advanced mode, there is good chance I won't get this error message anymore, right?

The formula cannot refer to another column. Check the formula for spelling mistakes or update the formula to reference only this column.
Note everything was working fine before, this just started happening recently...
At first I thought it was because of my template, but as I have tried, I can't even create subsite using the templates provided by Sharepoint...
has anybody encountered similar problems recently?

If you create asubsite using the SharePoint default template, what error did you meet? Was it same with the error?
Which site template did you use for the parent site?
Please check whether you can create subsite at other site collection.
In addition, please trace the exact error by using Correlation ID.

I get this error when trying to create a ringtone:
"iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store - an unknown error occurred (11556)"
But I CAN connect - if I click on the iTunes Store, it connects right away.
I want to make a ringtone from a song that I purchased, but all I get is the same error message.

Based on the error message, please check whether you have installed the spPowerPivot.msi add-in on each of your SharePoint server, and ran the configuration wizard, make sure that the powerpivotwebapplicationsolution.wsp
is deployed correctly.

If it still shows an error it could be a problem with the system's zone permissions. "Recovery partition not found" when trying to creat recovery discs.

I received the following error message when trying to create recovery discs for the first time "recovery partition not found" HP G61 401SA Notebook and it is a couple of years old and has windows 7 as th OS.
I specifically purchased DVD-R discs for the disc creation, which was advised from HP site was the only disc suitable.
Am I doing something incorrect or is there an issue?
Is this why I am unable to also create a back up - are the two things related?

One more thing, could you advise on how much space the recovery might be approximately - I will need to make sure a USB has enough memory available. Take another look at the disk management window. The partition sizes are visible in the descriptions. My HP loaner has a large recovery partition at >20GB. That mean I had to use a 32GB usb flash drive Most others are smaller and a 16GB usb flash drive will suffice.

Error message in Adobe Pdf in printer device panel when trying to create a pdf document. I have CS3 Web Premium with Acrobat Professional 8. I use it fine on my old computer with Windows XP. I recently got a new laptop with Windows 7. I installed all my Adobe programs, and I think they are working. When I look at Adobe PDF in the device section of the Control Panel it looks okay. But when I try to print a Word, Photoshop, or HTML page in PDF, nothing happens. I have tried printing both as File>print and using the PDF tab on the top menu bar. I look at the device in the control panel and it has the yellow error warning symbol and suggests trying to troubleshoot. I look at the document list and it says status "error". When I try troubleshooting Windows suggests doing some Home Sharing and also suggests canceling the document I'm trying to print. I tried re-installing just Acrobat 8 from CS3 (and have to use Photoshop CS4 disk for shared documents I guess). I ran into a can't locate adobepdf_dll file, so did a web search on this issue and found a suggestion that I find and use the adobepdf_dll_64 file and may have to (I did have to) remove the "_64" for it to work. I think I successfully reinstalled using that dll file- no errors came up anyway. But still when I try printing/converting a photoshop, webpage, or word document into pdf, the pdf device in control panel still gives the error status on the document and gives the same troubleshooting advice. Help?

I just compared the properties between the two computers. On the old computer it has the port as "My Documents/*.pdf". On my new computer it lists the port as "LPT1". I tried changing the port to "Print as File", but when I try printing a photoshop picture as pdf, I get a "Access Denied". I then tried to create a new port on the device control panel. I tried to create a local port "My Documents/*.pdf" port but was denied. I ten tried to create a new port type and control panel asked for an INF file. I wonder if this is where my problem lies. Thoughts?

I'm using the latest jdeveloper and jdk 6 update 20 on solaris sparc 10.
When I'm trying to create a web service from a wsdl on the java EE 1.5 platform i get the following error:

You are asking about an issue that was a pain in the nick for me few months ago. The problem is that you won't find mych help here as I figured out that Apex geeks here either did not do much webservices or ended up hating it as i do :) . This is an error that can be due many different reason, let me ask you this:
1- Does your the other system you are trying to call through webservices using HTTPS ?
2- If yes, did you create a valid oracle wallet for that https connection ?
3- Make sure you are using the correct URL ( am sure you do, just double check )
4- If using a proxy, then you have to define that in the web service reference creation page

Error when trying to create Delivery

Hi SAP Gurus
When trying to create delivery from Sales order(Va02>Sales document>Delivery),it is taking to Delivery(Vl01n).But there at the initial screen itself it is displaying the error message"Order doesnot exist"
Kindly let me know where could be the issue.

No reason for rejections.
Also seen VOV7 and checked for the item cat details.I could see "H-delivery Related Billing-No Zero Quantities" maintained for Billing Relevance field.

Error when trying to create a new Voyager Workspace through Infoview

Hi,
When trying to create a new Voyager Workspace through Infoview, I get the following Error
"An Error hs occured while attempting to connect to the OLAP server.Failed to initialize(The following component Microsoft OLEDB Provider for Anaysis Services 2005 returned server error(An error was encountered in the transport layer;the peer prematurely closed the connection"
I clicked on New Voyager Workspace & then it displays the list of connections available. When, I click on any connection , then I receive thefollowing error

An Insight of our environment regarding this, we have an clustered environment with Voyager Installed. Platform is Windows Server 2003. We have all the required Microsoft client tools installed on the Production Servers.
This was working fine earlier. We were able to create Voyager WorkSpace at one instance of time. The problem at that point of time was the MDAS Server was not showing up in CMC, i.e as we had clustered environment, only one of the MDAS Server was showing up in the CMC. it was missing the other MDAS Server. but, at that time we were able to create Voyager Workspace.
So, in order to view the other MDAS Server in CMC, we had changed the name of the Server in CCM for both the MDAS Servers.
In detail, Server A.MDAS Server & Server B.MDAS Server- they both were not showing up in CMC. only one of them was showing up in Servers list in CMC.
So, in CCM we had changed the name of Server1.MDAS server to be Server1 &
for Server2.MDAS Server to be Server1 as well.
AFter this both the MDAS Servers were showing uo in CMC.
but, when I login into Infoview & click on new Voyagerworkspace & select a connection, I recieve the follwoing error

Request to let me know the possible steps in resolving this ASAP

Hi,
Try to create the objects again and take the screenshot of SU53 when you get the error and see the authorization object for which you are getting the error here.
It is possible that you dont have development authorization.
Also the issue could be that the system is not configured to create the objects begining with Z.
Check this with basis as well.

Error when trying to create XUSER information for SAPServiceSID

I am getting the following error when trying to create the XUSER information for the SAPServiceSID user on a WINDOWS/MAXDB 7.9 install.. Does anyone know a FIX for this?

Try this.
Solution
Add the "Administrators" group under:
Control Panel
-> All Control Panel Items
   -> Administrative Tools
      -> Local Security Policy
         -> Local Policies
            -> User Rights Assignment
              -> Take ownership of files or other objects
You check you command and modify.
xuser.exe -c Hostname\SAPServiceSID -U DEFAULT -u Username, Password -d SID -n Hostname -S Schema_Name -t 0 -I 0 set'
