When trying to create connection using Contribute 6.5, get error message "Unknown error. Please see the log for detail." The log says "Network connection timed out." What do I do now?

Have been using Contribute 6.5, and earlier versions, for years with Hostway without any problems. All of a sudden I cannot create a connection to our website. Tried to chat with Adobe a twice now and got no help. Yesterday they started a chat with me, then ended the session without any communication! My problem has been going on for several weeks now. I uninstalled Contribute, downloaded and installed again, but it did not help. Hostway had me connect with Zilla and everything worked fine. So, they say the problem is with Adobe. The last attempt ended with "Unknown error. Please see the log for detail." The log says "Network operation timed out." Does anyone have any suggestions?

Can you please try using any other Internet connection outside your company's network and see if it is working? Alternatively, Can you please try the below settings from the Advanced... Menu while creating the connection using FTP details and try to create the connection again:

    I had the same issue. Resolved it by changing the security settings on my router...( log into your router by following your routers instructional guide, most are available online. Under the wireless setting, look for some variation of security settings, change WEP setting to WPA. )
    I was using ethernet cable and not wireless, and still am, but this solved the problem. I have a 1.3Mbps speed connection.
Fast test to see if its the router....
   If you want to see if it's the routers that is effecting you, and have a iphone 4 or similar smart phone, create a wireless hot spot on the phone and connect the Apple TV to it. Try to view your rental now. If the error message still occurs then its not your router, and you can recommence pulling all your hair out.....

It's a POP account. I decided to clean up my mailbox today after noticing the computer was real slow after USA Today started sending their daily top stories with new graphics. Welcome to the Support Communities! I'm not sure from your post what steps you have tried, but it sounds like you may need to use recovery mode to address the issue with your unresponsive iPod touch.

Hi, The server agent was grayed out. I uninstall it from control panel and removed it from agent managed. When I tried to install the agent, it failed. I installed the agent manaully and tried to approve it received the error message
"The service threw an unknown exception. See inner exception for details" I have the details but does not tell me much (I can post it). I removed it from control panel (while still showin in pending),

If you have installed a new hard drive , you will need to have formatted it in Disk Utility correctly. This may explain your problem.
Boot into your 10.6 Install disk again at the top menubar > Utilities > select Disk utility and in there select your new hard drive, and select the tab Erase and choose to make the format as Mac OS Extended Journaled. When that is finished look in the main window to make sure that the partition map scheme says GUID Partition Table.
Now go to the Restore tab and reinstall from your backup.

Are you launching Pages from an icon in your Dock? Installing the update does not change the Dock icons & it does not remove the older versions. Go to your Applications folder & launch the new Pages from there.

I am experiencing the same issue as dwarfland. I have a black 64GB iPhone 5s running iOS version 7.1.1 and a grandfathered unlimited data plan with AT&T. I have had an iTunes Match subscription pretty much since it was introduced. I currently have around 19500 songs in my music library and try to have only around 2000-2500 songs physically located on the phone itself (all of my "top-rated" songs in a single playlist). I have recently needed to re-download all these "top-rated" songs after I restored my phone from a backup, wiping all the songs from my phone.
