When trying to download add-on the message is "does not match the add-on Firefox expected"

When I tried downloading an add-on the above message pops up. What do I do to download an add-on with the above message?

Are you referring to the updating process which occurs when downloading and installing updates?<br>
If so, you can update Firefox manually by downloading and installing the latest version of Firefox from the [http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/features/ Firefox Website].
Or are you are referring to the process in which Firefox checks the compatibility of your add-ons after the update is installed and Firefox is restarting?<br>
If you are referring to this process, please try deleting the <code>compatibility.ini</code> file from the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile].
Please report back soon.

  • "The installed product does not match the installation source" error

    Each time I attempt to use the SL disk to update the Apple drivers in Windows XP SP3 on my MacBook Pro 13" I get the error message posted in the title. I used this same disk successfully to update my MacPro. Anyone know what this means?
    "The installed product does not match the installation source. Until a matching osurce is provided or the installed product and source are synchronized, this action can not be performed."

    I get the same error, and I have an idea of what's going on.
    When I try to install Boot Camp 3, Windows asks me to locate "BootCamp.msi". If I try to uninstall Boot Camp via "Add/Remove Programs", the same prompt comes up.
    What I think is happening is that the original installer for Boot Camp 2.0 is being requested. But I have applied the Boot Camp 2.1 update, which has no BootCamp.msi file associated with it.
    So I'm at a road block of sorts, unable to install Boot Camp 3.0. I cannot download the original Boot Camp 2.0 installer from Apple, only the 2.1 update. (I recently moved across the country and didn't bring my 10.5 media.)
    Any ideas out there on what can be done to get Boot Camp 3.0 installed?

  • Server failed to start: The domain path does not match the running server

    Hi,
    I've configured Eclipse to run my local weblogic - which actually is working fine.
    The server starts as intended and reaches state RUNNING.
    As soon as this happens, OEPE tries to validate the server and compares the identified server's configuration to the expected configuration.
    This finally results into the error message shown in the subject -- though server is still running.
    !MESSAGE Server watcher[Oracle WebLogic Server 11gR1 PatchSet 1 at localhost]:The domain path does not match the running server.
    Domain RootDirectory retrieved from the MBean of running server is: N:\Oracle\MIDDLE~1\USER_P~1\domains\MYWEBL~1\
    Domain RootDirectory of this server: N:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\myWeblogicServer
    Obviously this seems to be an issue with the length of the directory and file names. The domain's configuration and all its start scripts do not have any 8+3 pathes, like USER_P~1 for user_projects. Nevertheless the MBean of the server returns such a "truncated" path which in turn is invalid for OEPE.
    Fix: When setting up the domain in Eclipse, try using that 8+3 representation of the domain's location. Then the comparison will succeed...
    My Question: Where do we need to ask for a fix in OEPE? The 8+3 path is still a valid one ...
    Best Regards
    Philipp

    I haven't been able to reproduce this and 8+3 representation of the domain's location shouldn't be required.
    Can you provide more information:
    - is this a network drive?
    - what is your OS: XP, Vista, Win7?
    - what is the Windows file system type, is it FAT or NTFS
    - Can you try install WLS on C:, e.g. C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects and see if it still happens?

  • The publisher in the uploaded package does not match the expected publisher.

    I have an existing Windows Phone 8 application in which I wish to release an update to. This update includes new features as well as targets the 8.1 platform. Because of an unknown problem with the original Visual Studio project
    where the app stopped being able to be deployed to test devices, it was faster to create a new Visual Studio project and copy over the existing code and assets than try and find the issue in the original project. This lead to the publisher GUIDs being different
    between the new and original projects.
    Now when I try and submit the updated package within the Windows Phone Online dashboard I get the following error message "The publisher in the uploaded package does not match the expected publisher. The expected publisher
    for this app is: "CN=0745C81D-D1ED-49ED-A219-C546B5F31DE5"".
    I have updated both the WMAppManifest and Package.appxmanifest so that they have the following attributes and information:
    Package.appxmanifest (PhonePublisherId="0745C81D-D1ED-49ED-A219-C546B5F31DE5")
    And
    WMAppManifest (PublisherID="{0745C81D-D1ED-49ED-A219-C546B5F31DE5})
     I have then recompiled the app and uploaded and attempted to resubmit the update but I still get the error that the Publisher does not match. What have I missed??

    This sounds tricky... perhaps you can do a search in the entire app for the GUIDs and replace them.
    Also, you could build the appx package, rename the .appx to .zip, and open it up to see if you can find the wrong publisher id anywhere and it might give you a clue to where to make the change.

    The jar size value in the Application Descriptor does not match the real jar file size.
    It's perfectly working for all the other applications .I tried to change the jar size in the jad file but it's not working.

    Yes, the obfuscator does not change the size value after finishing. You have to do it yourself.

  • AADSTS50011: The reply address does not match the reply addresses configured for the application

    Can anyone tell me where to update the reply address?
    I have AD synced from on-prem to Azure, then I setup a website on azurewebsites.net, then created a CNAME record from portal.mydomain.com to portal.azurewebsites.net. When I try to login using portal.mydomain.com I get:
    AADSTS50011: The reply address does not match the reply addresses configured for the application.
    Can anyone help? Thanks
    Frank Russo

    Hi Frank69,
    Thanks for posting here!
    It appears to me that the application is unable to find the URL you have configured on Azure or could be missing from the list. As a result the application is attempting to authenticate against AAD but failing to match the URl it wants.
    I would suggest you to re-configure your AAD application on Azure and set one or more reply URLs.

    Hi,
    When I try to insert a null value to a field of the User Defined Table I am getting the error "The entered value does not match the specified field type" in SAP Business One version 2007 PL 42.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Sudha.

    Hi Sudha,
    It probably have to do with how you defined the field.
    Is Null value allowed?
    What are the field definitions?

    The control chart in the sampling method does not match the insp. char.
    Message no. QD240
    how solve?????

    You need to compare 'requirement for control chart' and 'control indicator of insp. characteristic'.
    1. Requirement for control chart
    QCC0 > Quality Planning > Basic Data > Sample, SPC > Statistical Process Control > Define Control Chart Type
    See detail for your control chart and check 'requirement' in characteristic type screen area.
    2. Control indicator of insp. characteristic
    QS24
    Check 'control indicator' is suitable for requirement.

  • The declared package does not match the expected package

    I was given some Java code that I need to get working and then make some improvements on, but I'm still in the process of learning Java and the IDE Eclipse as well. There is a package called MyGUI and most of the files in that package had the error "The declared package MyGui does not match the expected package MyGUI" as a result of the inconsistent case, so I changed all of the first lines "package MyGui" to "package MyGUI" and this fixed all of those problems except for one.
    There is still one file where it gives this error message even though I changed the code the same way I did for the other files. I can't figure why this file is different. I saved it and I also refreshed everything, but it still gives me the error message "The declared package MyGui does not match the expected package MyGUI" although the package is clearly declared as "MyGUI".
    Does anyone have an idea of why this would be? I am very new to Eclipse and Java, so I don't really know how to go about solving errors yet.

    Forget the IDE until you get a handle on basic concepts like packages and classpath.
    The error you're talking about comes when a .java or .class file is not in a directory that matches its declared package.
    Let's say that CLASSPATH_ROOT is the only element in your classpath. If you have a class that is declared like so:
    package com.foo;
    class Bar {}Then, you must have CLASSPATH_ROOT/com/foo/Bar.java or CLASSPATH_ROOT/com/foo/Bar.class.
    The language rules for .java files are not as strict as those for .class files, but some compilers may expect them to be the same, and it's a good idea to do so even if it's not strictly necessary, for clarity's sake.
    Also, even though Windows' file system is not case sensitive--that is it considers FOO.class and foo.class the same file name--Java is. You probably can't directly rename FOO.java to Foo.java in Windows, as it will say it's the same name, so if you need to change the case, rename it to a different name, than back to Foo with the correct case.

  • Eclipse error : The declared package does not match the expected package

    I'm trying to setup an Eclipse project on some existing code but I can't get past this error. The source files are in the following directories:
    d:\mycompany\coolstuff
    d:\mycompany\neatstuff
    The source files in the coolstuff directory have a package statement:
    package mycompay.coolstuff
    The source files in the neatstuff directory have a package statement:
    package mycompany.neatstuff
    I create a new Eclipse Java project, specify the existing directoy of d:\mycompany. When Eclipse tries to build, it gives the following error:
    The declared package "mycompany.coolstuff" does not match the expected package "coolstuff"
    I've tried everything I can think of short of modifying every package statement since they seem correct based on the Java documentation. What am I missing?

    All the source builds just fine using a command
    nd line and a classpath=.\That's meaningless, since classpath=.\ is just setting the classpath to the current directory.
    d:\mycompany\coolstuff
    d:\mycompany\neatstuff
    The source files in the coolstuff directory have a
    package statement:
    package mycompay.coolstuff
    The source files in the neatstuff directory have a
    package statement:
    package mycompany.neatstuff
    I create a new Eclipse Java project, specify the
    existing directoy of d:\mycompany.When you use the package statement "package mycompay.coolstuff" Eclipse looks in the directory above mycompany for mycompay\coolstuff\<classname>, and that directory is d:\, not d:\mycompany.
    When Eclipse
    tries to build, it gives the following error:
    The declared package "mycompany.coolstuff" does not
    match the expected package "coolstuff"

  • Unique Identifier of the source style does not match the target st

    I'm running into a bunch of problems with an export/import, but I'll limit myself to the more opaque ones for the moment. We've got a page group in place and are trying to overwrite it, or at least parts of it, with a revised version. The export appears to succeed, but the pre-check (and consequently, it appears, the entire import) fails. One of the few specific errors has to do with a style:
    [ERROR] id = NULL context = style_pre_check user = PORTAL The Unique Identifier of the source style MY_STYLE does not match the target style MY_STYLE.
    The style in question exists in both our development environment (from which we're exporting) and our target environment (into which we're importing, of course). It hasn't even been changed in the development environment, so it's identical to what it's replacing. Does anybody know what's going on here and how it might be fixed?

    This indicates the style in the production did not come from the same development system as the one you're attempting the new import from. Also, this could happen, if for some reason you had deleted the style in the development after it was deployed to production and (re-) created a new style with the same name.
    In order for pre-check to succeed, you would need to either rename the style on the production or rename it on development and re-export and import the transport set again.

  • The Bonjour name does not match the host name

    I changed the host name of a Mac Mini Server (OS X 10.8.5, Server 2.2.2) but then I got the email "The Bonjour name xxx-server does not match the host name yyy-server.local).
    How do I fix it?  (Appreciate for detailed steps.)

    The Bonjour name is separate from the DNS host name, and you're hopefully not serving the .local domain from your own DNS server within OS X Server.  That can cause problems.
    The Bonjour name is assigned by  > System Preferences > Sharing.
    If you want to see the three names assigned, launch Terminal.app from Applications > Utilities and enter the following three commands (some example output shown for each command) (do not enter the $ signs shown in the following; that's the command prompt):
    $ scutil --get ComputerName
    myhost
    $ scutil --get HostName
    myhost.example.com
    $ scutil --get LocalHostName
    myhost
    $
    Post the output from the three, and we'll have a look.  If you want or need to obfuscate, please do so consistently.  Example.com (as shown above) is a good choice for an obfuscated domain, too.

  • The publisher in the uploaded package does not match the expected publisher x2

    I spent an hour with a very helpful MS tech support guy today to try and resolve this issue to no avail.  He ensured it wasn't on their end within the Dev Center which means it would lie in the App Studio Beta team's end.
    So I have double and tripled checked to ensure my publisher ID matches what the App Info on Dev Center says to what is in the associate app with store says on my app in App Studio.  Anyone else have an idea what could be causing this problem?
    I don't want to have to try to re-create my app and then find this same error.

    Update:  After having recreated my app and publishing it to the store I then made a few changes and now need to upload my updated PUBLISHED app.
    Guess you can guess that upon uploading and submitting the change - I get the error once again.  Very frustrating as you can imagine.  I realize App Studio is in beta but not to even get a response from the team is a bit on the odd side as well.
    Come on guys, I am trying to publish apps to the store and want to make WP relevant in the USA but you aren't helping here if your great tools aren't working properly.
