When trying to download photos it says plug in failure-what do I need to install?
I've tried downloading the lastest version of Adobe flashplayer a few times, but it still doesn't work.
The guy at the Genius Bar has told you absolute and utter rubbish. It is true that Apple has stopped supporting iWeb, but it definitely DOES NOT mean that your website will stop working any time soon.
They should know that iWeb is an application on your Mac and as long as it is compatible with your OS - it works in Snow Leopard and Lion and will be compatible with the new Mountain Lion out this Summer, then you can still use it to build and maintain websites.
As long as your are not publishing your site to MobileMe, then you are okay - if you are publishing to a local folder and then uploading to another host that is fine and your site will not be going anywhere in a hurry.
You don't need to change software unless you really want to.

You already have got OS X Mavericks installed (the Keynote, Pages and Numbers versions available in the Mac App Store are only compatible with OS X Mavericks).
You have got a Late 2013 MacBook Pro, which uses a special OS X Mavericks version that is not available in the Mac App Store. This is the reason why the Mac App Store is not compatible with OS X Mavericks even if you are using it. This will be fixed in OS X 10.9.1, when your Mac uses the same Mavericks version as all other Macs.

when trying to download photos from my digital cameras I keep getting the message that pics can't be downloaded because of an "unrecognizable format". It shows that they are all jpeg files. One camera is a Canon, the other a Panasonic. I have had these cameras for a few years and have never had a problem downloading.
I am having the same problem which has happened very infrequently before. Generally it's one photo and happened when my battery died.
However today I tried to download six photos.
None would download including several others for a total of 21 that would not download.
Since I had just installed a new powered hub and added three new external 4T hard drives, I got concerned that it was the hub. Then got really worried that I'd have problems with the data I have been backing up.
However following this sequence of events, I've determined it's not the hub, but still don't know what is causing the problem.
(1) Put a fresh battery in the camera - same results
(1.5) Used a different port in the new hub - same results
(2) Put the card in the card slot in the back of my iMac - no problems except that one image I knew about last week. The six new images imported.
(3) Tried again using the cable - still same error
(4) Changed cables - my husband has the same camera - still same error
(4) Put the card in his camera with his cable - still same error
(5) Put the card in a card reader and used the same slot in the new hub - no problems - same one wouldn't import but message that there are no new photos to import.
(6) Moved the offending one image to the Trash while the card was in the card reader
(7) Put the card back into my camera and used my cable. iPhoto had no error and displayed the message there are no new photos.
Conclusion:
Not the camera
Not the cable
Not the hub
Must remove bad photo from the card
However, I have not had to do that before. I went through several imports on vacation when there was one bad image and just ignored it each time.
Any idea why this is happening now?

Perhaps let's first try updating your Apple Software Update.
Launch Apple Software Update ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update"). Does it launch and offer you a newer version of Apple Software Update? If so, choose to install just that update to Apple Software Update. (Deselect any other software offered at the same time.)
If the ASU update goes through okay, try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the errors this time? -

I followed the advice of another user, cleared my payment information and re-entered my credit card info and this took care of it, I was immediately able to download new purchases. Trying to upload photos from my iphone to iphoto on my macbook 10.5.8. Keep getting error message unrecognizable format. I have deleted apps to free up space. 19GB available.....any other ideas?
What version of iPhoto? How much disk space did you have before deleting things?

Error when running simulation with SIT 2010 on a cRIO 9073, what do I need to install on the cRio?

I am trying to run a simulink model on a cRio 9073 using SIT 2010. I succesfully created the FPGA vi and the lvbit file in order to map input/outputs to the model. I also created the DLL and OUT for the model.
When I run the interface VI on my computer, everything seems OK, until I get the following error and I am not able to run the simulation. I found a similar post earlier that suggests that I need to install the shared variable engine or the Simulation Interface Toolkit on my cRio. I tried to do both using MAX but could not find neither of the suggested installations.

Este tipo de error suena suele ocurrir cuando no se tienen las librerías apropiadas instaladas en el cRIO. Te recomendaría que abrieras MAX, debajo de la pestaña de Remote Systems selecciones tu dispositivo>> software, click derecho e instalar software. Aquí debes asegurarte que las librerías que te faltan estén instaladas en el cRIO. En Custom Installation selecciona SIT como opción para instalar en el cRIO tal y como se muestra en las imagenes.

My player had a firmware problem, so I tried reloading the firmware. I decided to load Creative Zen Touch PlaysForSure Firmware 2..0, but it didn't load correctly (froze). Now I have no firmware, and whenever I try to download the firmware it states, "your player is not connected, please connect player".

So this has been happening to me for the last few months. I called customer service and they were very helpful, and tried thier best to help me. After 15 min of getting no where with the tech guys, I said good bye and decided to try to put in a new credit card, and WAALAA!!! Bingo it works now but, seriously, if this crap keeps happening, i will discontinue the use of Apple completely.
Once again, here is what I did to make it work:
1) erase previous card number, address, everything.
2) put in the info of a DIFFERENT credit card
3) press DONE and it should work
4) erase all info again, and try again with the old card
I am not sure if it will work for everyone. It worked for me and so, I thought I should post this and try to help.

I am afraid you would not be able to use After Effects CC 2014 and CC, as there were not testes on version 10.6.8.
I have two suggestions to make for you.
