When trying to print a photo I get an error that themes need to be installed. I checked and themes are installed so what now?
I am on my MacPro desktop. I am using iPhoto vdrsion 9.2.3.
While perusing my photos, I click one and attempt to print the photo (Cmd P).
I get a dialog box alerting me to an error which reads: There were no themes located. Until at least one theme has been installed, this feature will be unavailable.
I have tried downloading the latest print drivers for my HP Photosmart C4200 but no luck.
Although I know that a basic theme allows you to select border, borderless, etc. for your printed photo, I cannot figure out how to install a theme.
My workaround is to email the photo to myself and print it from the Preview app.
PS: I read in another forum that I should check in user/library/app support/iPhoto for a Themes folder and if found, I should move it to HD/Library/App Support/iPhoto/ and reboot. But I checked for Themes folder in both of these locations and it is there!!! With some 98 entries. So now what? Reinstall?????

You'll have to reinstall iPhoto in order to get the themes linked back to the application. To do so you'll have to delete the current application and all files with "iPhoto" in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder,

Then install iPhoto from the disk it came on originally.

If none of those boxes were selected, it might be a Safari extension causing the proxy dialog.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall. -

Hi, first time poster here. When trying to print a photo in iPhoto 9.1.1, I get an error stating "There were no themes located. Until at least one theme has been installed, this feature will be unavailable. This started after upgrading to iPhoto 11. I can print from all other applications so I know that I don't have a printer problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks for the suggestion Larry. This discussion is for iPhoto 7, and says to do a custom install using the system disk that came with my computer. Since I recently installed iPhoto 11 from iLife, should instead reinstall from the iLife disk, rather than the system disk that came with my computer?

You will not be deleting any photos or data about them - they are in your iPhoto library and you should not be going into it -- ever

When I try to start Firefox, I get a message that it is already running, but not responding and that I should close it before trying to run another Firefox. But I cannot find a way to close Firefox program that is not running as far as I can see. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, but that did not work. I've tried various other things, but no luck. I thought programs should stop when the computer is turned off, but that didn't work either.
How are you opening the Profile Manager?

MobileMe no longer exists...that system was discontinued and merged into iCloud.
Your old MobileMe email addresses shoule still be valid, or convert into some form of user@ me .com or icloud . com. -

when trying to send a photo via email, I am prompted to setup an email account even though email is already setup. What would cause this? Better yet, how do I fix it?
I have checked this on my device. I see a Default account under Messages created outside of Mail will be sent from the default account. There is an account selected, though it does not show my exchnage account. If it is only an exchange accout, can that not be used for this?

since update to 9.3, when I click thumbnails of photos i get an error message that original photo cannot be found. Didn't have this problem prior to upgrade to 9.3 and 9.3.1. Any thoughts?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

I have created a DVD via iMovie and burned several copies. It is a large file. When played the some DVD's will stop and display a message SKIPPING DAMAGED Part but will not resume. Some work fine. It is not the DVD. I have burned from several batches. When trying to export the project, I get an error message with the following message: The project could not be prepared for publishing because an error occured (-108).
