Do you perhaps have the "Primary Only" flag enabled?
The little button with the framed "1" ? Or in the "Edit" menu "Primary Only"?

Afraid Compressor won't work with MKV. If you have access to a system running an earlier version than Mavericks, and with Perian installed you can use MPEG Streamclip or Quick Time Pro to convert to a mov.

In Develop you can highlight a group of thumbnails in the filmstrip, then right-click and choose Develop Settings -> Auto Tone
In Library you can highlight a group of thumbnails in the Grid and click the Auto Tone button in the Quick Develop area.
What you can’t do is click the Auto button in Develop and have it do more than one photo—this is by design, except, maybe if you have Auto Sync enabled.

PSE 6 Crashes when trying to print to Epson Stylus Photo 1400

Has anyone had an issue with PSE 6 crashing when trying to print a single photo from the Organizer? I have tried to print photos directly from the Organizer and each time I do, the application crashes. I can open the photo in the editor and print directly from the editor with no problems. It's not the printer becuase I can print from other applications to the printer. I can also print to my HP PSC 2355 with no issues. but for some reason, I cannot get the Organizer application to print to the Epson. I have uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it. I have checked to see if there are any updated drivers - there are none. I'm running PSE 6 on Windows Vista 32-bit. Any suggestions what else I can try? I hate that I cannot print to my new printer!

Try deselecting the print options "EXIF Print" and "Print Image Matching". Unfortunately, the Search function of the new forums doesn't work yet for older messages, but I did find this thread cached by Google referring to a similar problem:

i have server admin setup on this machine, this machine is bound to AD
When i open up WGM and go to groups and try to create a group i receive the following error...

Just to be clear - what domain are you trying to create the group in?
Are you trying to create an AD via WGM because you can't feed changes upwards to AD.
If you're trying to create a group either locally or in OD then that should work as long as you are authenticated. One gotcha in OD is that you can't create a group with the same name as the AD you are bound to but I'm pretty sure trying to do that gives you an intelligible error.

HELP....why do I keep getting "Not Delivered" errors when trying to send a Group MMS text message?

I am trying to send a Group MMS text. There are 6 recipients. I hit "send" and the progress bar goes almost to the very end, and then hangs up....and eventually I get a "Not Delivered" error message. I click on the "i" icon and it says "your message was not sent. Tap try again to send this message." I've done that time and time again, and the same thing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Try sending it as a regular text message... turn off iMessage.

When i reply to a group text it only shows one recipient and says "failed to send"

I receive a text from a group thread I've been in for ears, when I open the text and respond, it only shows one of the members in the "to" line and then wont let me send any messages. any ideas? Also, if I'm typing a text and I get another text the whole keyboard locks and goes black until the text notification goes away. is this supposed to happen?

It goes something like this...
Put your new drive in the enclosure. Use Disk Utility to format it, etc. I'd give it a slightly different name than the original. Let's say you have Old Disk and New Disk as your drive names. Use Carbon Copy Cloner to copy Old Disk to New Disk. Now you should have an exact copy, which you can test by rebooting and holding down the Option key. Choose New Disk from the list and let it boot, make sure all is well.
Shut down and physically swap the drives. Take Old Disk and put it in the enclosure. Now your system has a new disk with a lot more space and you can reformat your old disk and just use it for large files or whatever.

Nope that's not it, I always use that particular ID, but the @me.com portion of the Apple ID is missing when trying to download from the App Store on the Phone.
It is grayed out inside the App Store app so I can't change it there and I already changed it in the settings.
The entire Apple ID is fine in the Settings so I don't get why the App Store ID is different and missing information.

Messages closes unexpectedly when trying to take and attach a photo within the application

I have a tried and true iPhone 4S (yeah, I know) running iOS 8.0.2. She's a tad slower than she used to be, but all in all seems to be working well with one exception. When I try to take a photo from within the Messages application, the app crashes. It has happened every time I try this. I can do a workaround, which involves: Closing Messages, going to Camera, taking the photo, going back into Messages and then choosing the existing photo, attaching the existing photo and finally sending the message with photo attached...but whew, what a lot of extra steps. Anybody else seeing this? Any settings changes that might fix this? If not, anyone know if this is on the defect fix list for iOS 8.1?

Hi,
Open a Finder window. Select your Home Folder in the Sidebar on the left. Then open the Library folder then the Preferences folder.
Move the com.apple.PhotoBooth.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
Restart your Mac.

I have several hundred photos I need to rotate. I recall I can do this as a group if I select them. Can someone share how I do this?

Same as everywhere else in the OS.
1. Click to select
2. Command-click to add to the selection
3. To select a contiguous group: click on the first item, then shift-click on the last to select all in between
4. Draw a box with the mouse across the items.

I use a summer 2007 iMac with latest operating system and latest aperature, both have latest updates. I've read the applicable help data. Should be really simple. Just select the photos to be rotated and do it. What simple item am I missing? I never had any problem with iPhoto, especially in this regard. I've been enduring this for a couple of years
I just don't want to pay Apple to help with such a simple item.
When I have a lot of photos to rotate and am reduced to doing them individually its frustrating and I wish I never left iPhoto.

It is simple - what is the problem, that it does not work for you?
Select the images in the Browser and press the "Rotate" button. Hold down the alt/opt key, if you want to change the rotation direction.
Make sure, the "Primary Only" option is not enabled - otherwise only the "primary" selected image will be rotated, see:

I am trying to e-mail pics from a new mac book pro just had all my photos and data moved over from my old mac and when I try to e-mail through i photo its tell in that mail e-mail server doesnt recognize my user name and password combo? I am able to e-mail ok so I think it's the settings in i photo?

My iphoto freezes when trying to use the standard eBay photo upload, the problem started after a recent iOS 7 update. The album photos don't appear until I try and close the upload and immediately freezes. Attempts to close iphoto fail.

A week or so ago I reacted to an Apple update message. The update completed and this left me with a couple of problems. When the imac started up there was a Glims message on screen telling me that the computer had not closed entirely and asking if I wanted to allow glims to reopen previously open files. I ticked yes and Safari froze immediately. This would happen even after a restart, Safari would start up with the Glims message on my Yahoo mail account. Then whether I clicked on the Glims message or not one of various adverts would appear and Safari would immediately freeze. I managed to override this by quickly entering Safari extensions and subscribing to an advertisement blocking programme. Safari now worked without problems but the blocking programme created other problems mostly with iphoto. The eBay uploaded photos were minute. So I decided to remove the Safari blocking extension and all seemed fine for everything except iphoto which now freezes every time I try to upload eBay photo's using the eBay standard upload problem. Yesterday I changed to the other BASIC upload option and that did work. Thought it might be a one of glitch on the Standard but obviously not. Anyone's help would be appreciated. I note that at least one other member is experiencing the same or similar problem today.

Sorry I am 70 and not very computer literate. Please explain in simpler terms. Perhaps I should have said Apple update for my iMac. It did however include an iphoto update. My imac is 3 years old, I also have an ipad 2 and iPhone and both received iOS 7 updates around the same time.
