When trying to set up Sync account and enter my actual password, I get an "invalid email address"warning. Help...

When I go into Sync and try to set up an account, I am asked for email address (which is <[email protected]>. Immediately as I enter the "meinig58" the "invalid email address" red warning comes up. How do I solve this problem and establish my Sync account?

Write the whole email address and wait for a second to validate it.
The validator tells you that you have entered the wrong email until you finish typing a valid one. Developers are working to fix it.

When I try to set up Firefox Sync.. I type in my username, password, then when it comes to email address, whatever letter I type first a red/white X box comes up saying invalid email address. Why?

telliot, your reply is a bit cryptic, but I finally understood what you meant. What he/she meant, folks, is to keep on typing what you know to be your valid email address. When you enter ".com" (or whatever extension) the error signal will disappear

I have mobile me account now and so my apple id is switched from my email address to my mobile me address. Since I have made this change I can't update my apps. Everytime I try to sign in it won't recognize the switch. I have updated all the proper information on my iphone, however, when updating apps it still shows my apple id as my email address and not the mobile me account address. Where are you trying to log in? You should be able to change your ID at http://appleid.apple.com - can you log in there?
Before you change your ID you should log out of the iTunes Store and on any devices which are logged into iCloud. Then once you've changed it you can log back in with the new ID. (Your iCloud synced data will disappear from the device when you do this but will reappear when you sign back in - give it time).
If you are unable to sign into http://appleid.apple.com you will need to contact Support. Go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com . We are having sync issues when trying to use separate user accounts and Apple ID's on the same iMac. What can we do?

My wife and I share an iMac and we each sync to it using separate user accounts and separate Apple IDs. She has an iPad 2 and I have an iPhone 4. We upgraded the mac to Lion and the iphone to OS 5. Now itunes only recognizes my apple id no matter which user is logged in. Now if I download the Home Depot app to my phone it automatically gets pushed to my wife's iPad, which she does not want. We want to keep things separate. How can we do this?

You can sync devices with the same iCloud ID, not seperate ones.
If she has a different login on your Mac, make sure she has her own ID defined in System Prefs > iCloud

Mail does not respond when trying to set up new account

I'm trying to set up my brand new @me.com email account on my brand new Macbook Pro running Mountain Lion 10.8.1. I open Mail and it prompts me to write my name, email adress and password, which I do. Then, without fail, it says 'Searching for mail servers from the specified email address...' for a few seconds before freezing, with that message still displayed. I have to force quit Mail, which is said to be 'not responding'. Anyone know how to fix this?

setting up e print for officjet pro 8600 everything seemed well . signed in using code customized email address of printer . hp webprint was accessed using snapfish account . now i cant get back in using snapfish or original email address keep getting error (ajax sumit error 403 forbidden) getting real frustrated. i verified with snapfish that password and email address is correct ive reset it twice to no avail any help please. seems to me that eprint needs reset but dont know how to do that.

I would like to setup your "messages" application on my pc so that I can send and receive emails on the computer due to poor reception where I work. When I try to make an account it says: We can link only personal accounts to your AT&T Access ID.Log in to your Small Business account separately to manage it online.

One reason could be that the email address is already registered. You can check that by typing a few extra characters. If the email is already registered you can '''Connect''' to that, otherwise you may have to register with another account.

Why do I get an invalid email address when gifting an item or itunes gift card?

I have read additional discussions and they have indicated not to use the contact but enter the actual email address itself. To no avail i continue to get the same error. Frustrated incorporated :-(

I had tried using only one ncReset previously and was experiencing driver errors. I removed the second ncReset as you suggested and now it seems to work with only one. I cannot get it to fail like it was doing.
However, at least one ncReset must be used or I get the following error:
ERROR ncConfig CAN1: Driver error (qual=000b000)

I get this error even when the program terminates normally. For example:
1) Build obj2obj with the ncReset command.
2) Execute and allow to terminate normally.
3) Edit obj2obj and remove ncReset command.
4) Execute and the error message is displayed.
Amazingly, I was also able to single step through most of the program this morning. I got the first three messages (of 10 total) before ge
tting the error:

Unfortunately once all the 3 iCloud accounts have been created on your device, you cannot create any more regardless of what you do. You will need to re-use one of the accounts that you have already created or create your new account on another device or computer.

Look, I understand I still need a card attached to the account. The problem is, it won't accept my card because I only have 87 cents in my bank account right now.
If I had known there would be so much trouble with the iTunes card, I would have just put the cash in my bank account in the morning instead of buying an iTunes card (I didn't expect the banks to be open on Thanksgiving of course).
Apple will only accept cards that have a balance. The balance is so small in my account that it won't accept it as a valid card.

When trying to set up synced text between pages, dragging a defined content box to a new page frequently causes Muse to crash.

Content frames that are created in desktop page. When attempting to drag the content box to a page in either the tablet or phone version, Muse will frequently crash.

Using Windows 8.1. No error message other than warning that program is closing [Windows generated] and your only choice is to click OK. I've subsequently discovered that if I drag the content box to the gray area rather than directly onto the page that it works without any issues. After dragging it to the gray area, I can then position it on the page with no problem.
