If you moved your iTunes library by simply copying it to another drive, you may not be able to access your music even if you reconnect to that library, you may get a lot of "not found" errors because the music is not where the library thinks it should be. First thing to do is put it back where it was. Then reconnect it. Then follow the steps in this link:

It will restore you phone as a new device. If you have a backup of your phone you can restore to that.
YOur apps and music you can always sync back using iTunes.

Thanks for you suggestion roaminggnome. I tried typing in 13019 like you said and it gave me a few options to try and fix it but none of them worked (of course). I fiddled around with it for a while some more on my own and some how got it to work again, lol. Thanks again though for offering a solution.

My laptop died. I had music in the Cloud. When trying to sync my phone to the new labptop that is holding my music library I get a notice that says need to access music from ICloud. HOW???

I can't figure out how to do it? Also, all my purchased music is showing up in my library on my computer but NOT all the music I had in my old library. Any ideas?

Your music will only be where you put it.
Did you copy all of your music from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one?

I have a Mac os version 10.6.8. When I try and update my itunes on the computer it shows that this type of computer is okay to be part of the update. When I update it, it will show that the update is complete. I restart the computer and then reopen itunes and it says the same thing, and when I go to see what version it is it is still the 11.0. Please help I have no idea what else to do

I tried to sync my phone and received this message: "iTunes was unable to load data class info from sync services. Reconnect or try again later." Now it doesn't sync calendars because it says I need to download Outlook, which I already have

I have synced my phone to my computer several times. This time i received this message: "iTunes was unable to load data class infor from sync services. Reconnect or try again later." It says if I want to sync calendar I must install Outlook to my computer?? Why does iTunes not recongnize that I already have Outlook installed on my computer?

This worked for me...i did a restore on my computer to take it to a date prior to the last update i did on itunes and now it works just fine. Everytime i do a backup it syncs my Outlook! When a request comes up saying there's a new version of itunes click here to download the latest one DON'T do it.
Here's how to do a restore on your computer:
Create a restore point
A restore point is a representation of a stored state of your computer's system files. You can use a restore point to restore your computer's system files to an earlier point in time. Restore points are automatically created by System Restore weekly and when System Restore detects the beginning of a change to your computer, such as when you install a program or a driver.
System image backups stored on hard disks can also be used for System Restore, just like the restore points created by system protection. Even though system image backups contain both your system files and personal data, your data files won't be affected by System Restore. For more information about system images, see What is a system image? You can create a restore point manually at any time by following the steps below.

When I start my computer I get a "AppleSyncNotifier.exe Entry Point Not Found message. I also get an error message when trying to sync with iTunes that a backup session cannot be started. How do I fix this?

In the last few days when I start my computer, I get a box that opens with "AppleSyncNotifier.exe" Entry Point Not Found in the title.
It says: "The procedure entry point sqlite3_wal_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library SQlite3.dll.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes and still get an error message when trying to sync my phone with iTunes
"iTunes could not back up iPhone ####, because a session could not be started with the iPhone."
The last time I tried to sync my phone (iPhone 3G S) with iTunes, everything seemed to freeze up at Stage 4 of the sync process.

With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Reboot and see if all is well
In case that your OS is Windows 7 (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
3. Open new windows explorer, to to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Paste file "SQLite3.dll" to the location.
5. Reboot your computer, it should not display that message, it should be clear.

Error -50 when trying to sync photos

we have a 3 gen red nano that is just over 1 year old. When trying to sync photos, we get a message that the idod can't be synced. An unknown error (-50) occurred. Can anyone please help??

I am having the same problem, but I didn't install Lion yet. I have iTunes 1.4 (80) though, I suspect it started happening after updating to it. (I am still running Snow Leopard because one of the 3rd party audio drivers I need for my work has to be updated for Lion first).
I am syncing to my iPhone 4 to my Aperture 3 library. I haven't had this issue before. It syncs everything else but when iTunes goes from "Analyzing Photos" to "Optimizing Photos" in the sync process it reports that it is unable to sync because of an "unknown error (-50)"
To resolve the problem, I tried the following:
I repaired my Aperture library database (using Option+Command when launching Aperture 3).
I deleted the "iPod Photo Cache" folder inside my Aperture library. It had to resync all my photos again, this time it worked when re-syncing the entire library, but the next sync it had the same error again.
Updated my iOS to the latest version.
Repaired Disk Permissions on my Mac.
I changed USB cables and ports (using only ports directly on my Mac Pro).
Tried syncing with only iTunes running.
Doing all the above made no difference, I am still getting the error message and it won't sync new photos back to my iPhone 4 now. It is very frustrating.

When I-tunes is trying to sync my phone, I get a message regarding Data Class Information from Sync Services saying they were unable to do this. I have no idea what this means. The alert ones are now in my library on I-tunes and they play but they are not syncing to my phone. The snycing options is not available in my library and when I try to manually sync these tones, nothing is happening. What version of the Mac OS X do you have on your computer? The version of iTunes that you can install is dependent on the operating system that you have. For example, the current version of iTunes requires OS X version 10.7.5 or later.
