When trying to use craigslist how do I make the captcha visible?

when using craigslist the software requests that you type in the letters and numbers visible in the captcha window. In internet explorer we can read them. In Firefox 3,6,13 no letters or nuimbers are visible in the captcha window.

This happens with two different apps from two different banks. One of them works occasionally and have not figured out why. I have cell signal and I am on a strong WiFi network. Same thing happens when I turn off the WiFi too. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the app with no improvement. I can't seem to find any setting that would cause this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

A brief and probably non-helpful answer: I know of no way to eliminate your large amount of duplicates other than by repetitive, tedious manual effort.
*There has got to be a simpler way.*

James, thank you. I'm experiencing the same issue and submitted feelback at that link. I'm trying to use the same pumpkin image I used last year for Halloween on my lock screen and attempting to follow instructions (Move and Scale) and would like to make the image smaller so that it appears BELOW the time and date, but although I'm able to move the image, I'm unable to scale it - make it smaller. I've since tried this with several other photos with the same outcome. It seems that in iOS 7 one can make images bigger, but not smaller. I'm not sure what the logic behind that could be.

In case you haven't already... When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

You could always turn off cellular data in Settings to get it to stop using data while it is on standby. Another option to troubleshoot the issues is to reset all settings, go to Settings > General >Reset > Reset All Settings.

My guitar is very quiet when trying to record? How can I make it louder?

I just got a new iMac and am using GarageBand to record some guitar and it is very quiet even with everything maxed out (gain and volume on focusrite saffire pro 14, track and master volume, and amp sim volume). Is there anyway to make it louder? Chain is Fender Deluxe Lone Star Strat > Saffire Pro 14 > FireWire cord> iMac. Thank you.

When you're plugged in, does the light that says "Inst" light up on the PRO 14? This indicates an instrument level input, and can be activated through Saffire Mix Control. Near the bottom of the window, make sure the channel your guitar is coming in through has "Inst" selected, rather than "line" (also make sure you turn down the gain before you do this). Let me know if this solves your issue.

When opening a new tab, how can you make the cursor automatically go to the address bar?

In my previous version of firefox, the cursor would go directly to the address bar when I opened a new tab. Thus, I could start typing the web address I wanted to go to immediately. However I upgraded to Firefox 4 today and I now have to manually click in the address bar. Is there any way to change this in settings or by installing a specific add-on?

You only get the cursor in the search bar if you open the built-in about:home page.<br />
For other websites you need an extension.

When making a photo page, how do you make the chosen template active?

I have one photo page with a black template that works fine.
I made a second photo page with a kid's pink template. When I start the slideshow on the kids pink the show changes to black. The pink will not appear? Iweb is taking the first photo show template as a default for all other photo shows?

I created a swatch, used it to make a large composite pattern. I can't find the paths. They are needed so that
a laser cutter can follow them for production. What am I missing?

Try selecting everything with the pattern and use Expand (or Expand Appearance, which ever is available) from the object menu. You might need to cleanup quite a lot depending on how you constructed the paths in the original pattern tile.

You could type into another area, copy and paste that into the password.
A main reason a password fails that you know would be caps lock, or num lock.
If your passwords are remembered, you can double-click into the username, and then choose the correct username and if the password is remembered it will be filled in.

Try to go to Settings and then Store. Tap to your Apple ID and select View Apple ID. Now choose to check your payment information and when you're done tap Done. I had to rewrite my three digit code of the credit card and now it works.
Oh, I also activated Genius for Apps but I don't think it makes any difference.
