When turning the Ipod on the screen is completely blank with lines

When I turn my Ipod on the ipod is completely blank with lines up and down the screen and when turning it on it should have the main menu with the songs and other information. How do I fix this? The ipod serial number is YM715WZCX9B. The ipod color is red. It is an ipod nano 2nd generation. Hope you email me back as soon as possible.

Mine is doing someting like that but the screen is half black then there are lines and then it white. Any ideas? I've tried to restore that didn't help...

Im using the latest version mac os x macbook retina 15display. When im running Windows 8 through bootcamp I'm having problems when turning down the display the computer always have to reboot again. I have to start it and choose to boot from Windows 8. But when entering Windows8 again it will remeber its state from when turning the screen down. This also causes a problem that I can not use only a single external display because I always have to have my screen up because when turning down it will shut down and my usb devices as mouse or keyboard will no be able to detect the computer. This is not a problem on my Mac Os X partition.

I was powering down my ipad and suddenly the screen went completely black. I can power up and get Siri to respond but the screen remains black. I've tried syncing with Itunes but so far no luck. Any ideas how to fix this? One minute it was fine and then poof!

N91 Screen Gone Completely Blank

Can anyone advise? My N91 got a slight knock on holidays last week (nothing major, I just dropped it onto my bed), and since then the screen is completely blank.
All other funcions of the phone work, including taking pics and vids (although I can't see them without a PC), making and recieving calls and the music player etc.
Has anyone else out there ever experienced anything like this and is it repairable?

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I speak Spanish but try to leave the message in English too. SPANISH: Mi celular ZL presenta un problema, cuando enciendo la pantalla esta no muestra imagen. En otras palabras, la pantalla se ve negra. Esto sucede de forma aleatoria. Si tengo el celular en reposo (pero encendido) (por ejemplo en mi bolsillo o sobre mi escritorio) y quiero utilizarlo, presiono el botón de encendido, pero la pantalla no muestra imagen, el brillo de la pantalla enciende, el tactil funciona pero la imagen no se muestra. Cuando esto sucede, si presiono el botón de encendido 2 veces vuelve a presentar la imagen (la primera vez es como bloquear-apagar la pantalla, la segunda es como volverla a encender). Esto sucede de forma aleatoria entre días. También sucede al querer finalizar una llamada telefónica y separarlo de mi rostro la pantalla no muestra ninguna imagen lo que no me permite finalizar la llamada. También sucede de forma aleatoria cada tanto tiempo. Aunque suceda de forma aleatoria, es molesto y deseo encontrar solución al problema. He restablecido a datos de fabrica muchas veces y no se ha solucionado el problema. Soy de Colombia(país de latinoamerica) y la versión del sistema que tengo es Android 4.2.2 compilación 10.3.A.0.423. Via OTA y por PC Companion no aparece alguna nueva actualización. Yesterday I noticed that my mbp 2011 dos not sleep when closing the screen cover. Today I Turner my laptop in. However the fan was working loudly and stayed loud. After Start I noticed an X on Battery symbol. Clicking on it, it showed 'no battery.' I found out that a potential solution for this problem was SMC reset. I also noticed that the leds on magsafe was not lightning. Despite this I tried to execute the smc reset as described on apple support site. Switching off, plugin the magsafe connector, pushed the buttons shift + alt+ ctrl + power. Then i pushed the power button, but my mbp is not turning on. I pushed several times on the power button but nothing works. The magsafe is also dark meaning the leds not lightning. Can anyone here help me on this ?

Problem solved by my own. But do not how :) magsafe again working and the laptop tooo

- Try a reset.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Then connect to your computer and try to restore.
- See if placing the iPod in recovery mode will allow a restore. For recovery mode see:

- If the logo still show all the time, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an hour try the above again.

Next to the battery indicator icon is there an arrowed circle with a padlock inside? Id so that means you have the screen-rotation lock turned on. To turn off, double click the Home button, swipe the dock row fully to the right past the music controls and tap the icon.
Otherwise try the standard fixes:

First thing to check is to see if there is a circular arrow around a small lock at the top right of your screen next to the battery indicator. If there is Rotation Lock is turned on. You can turn it off in the Control Center. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and find that icon in the panel that comes up. Tap on that icon to turn off Rotation Lock.
If Rotation Lock is not on try a reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
