When Twitter updated it's website I can't get it to load right in Firefox. This same thing happened with Tumblr, and I've just been using Chrome for it. But I'd like to be able to use Firefox for everything.

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
*Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

1. Pre-select (highlight) the layer to move in the Layers panel. or-
2. [ALT+Right mouse click] to select the wanted layer in the image window.

After updating iTunes 10.5 and iPhone 4 iOS 5 my phone doesn't work at all. It freezes while it is trying to do the Restore phone. That means I have not have a functional phone for two days now. Same thing happens with my iPad 2.

I updated Itunes to v 10.5. Mistake!!!! Then updated iOS 5 to my iPhone 4 now my iPhone doesn't work as the applications freezes when trying to restore the phone. Same thing happens with my iPad 2, so now I have two pieces of equipment that are completely non-functional. Can any please tell me what to do? How can I reinstall the previous versions of iTunes, or iOS which were working on my iPhone and on my iPad? I hate iTunes and this has been the last drop that messed up my equipment. Please help me. Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

The missing apps could have been done by setting the Restrictions that can hid those apps. If the backup was made with those retrictions set the the Restrictions are also restored.
Thus, if you get it to work restore to factory settings/new iPod, not from backup

You don't necessarily need to set it to never...being set that way, you'll risk depleting the battery in case you forget to lock the screen.
Instead, use a value greater than your previous 2 minute setting...see which time setting would work for you. The settings are:
2 Minutes
5 Minutes
10 Minutes
15 Minutes
Never

When I drag effects onto time line clips, nothing happens. Same thing happens with adjustment layers. Nothing.

In Adobe Premiere Pro CC (Creative Cloud) I am not able to apply Effects or Adjustment Layers. Nothing happens with following the usual instructions (drag onto timeline), which are everywhere.

UPDATE: I AM able to apply effects when dragged and dropped onto timeline; HOWEVER I cant seem to apply any Adjustment Layers. On the timeline I added an adjustment layer to the entire video on Video track 3 (Video 1 &2 are taken).

On my PC I had a problem where the iTunes store would only display a blank white page, I managed to display my account settings, but nothing for music, etc
I treid this and it has immediately sorted it out...
start>programs>accessories> right click on Command Prompt and run as Administrator
then simply enter 'netsh winsock reset' and return
after restarting the PC and loading up iTunes the store was there fine ;-)

Recently when I download photos from my Canon G11 I get one or two "unsupported image format" This seems to happen when I have taken a photo of the same subject but have zoomed in on it. Why does this happen and what can I do to prevent this?

1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now?

When I get on the internet using firefox, it is real slow as numerous tabs are dispayed. never had this problem in past. If I right clisk on one of the tabs and click on "close other tabs" it does, but next time I get onto Firefox the same thing happens.

Last week Firefox would not open at all so I got onto the internet using windows explorer. I then wen to firefox and downloaded it. since then I hav had this problem.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Are the contacts on your phone to be the same as the contacts in your computer? if yes do following:
In iTunes/Preferences/Devices check the "Prevent iPods.... from syncing automatically".
Connect your iPhone to iTunes by cable or set sync by WiFi on the Summary page.
Then on the Info Page scroll down and check "contacts" under the "Advanced" heading.
Then click "sync" in the right bottom of the page.
