When upgrading to the latest version, I end up with a Firefox 18.0.2 update box which just gives option of saving an .exe file, nothing else. How do I upgrade?

Hi, the box that appears is the 'opening firefox setup 18.0.2.exe'
I only have the option to save the file http://download.cdn.mozilla.net, or cancel.
No run option or where its downloaded to.
Any help to upgrade to the latest version welcomed.

Click the save button. After the file finishes downloading, double click it, and install the newest version of Fierfox

THIS ISSUE IS RESOLVED FOR ME.
When I opened this pop-up to view the settings (File > Page Setup > "Format & Options": Scale ), the Scale value was 40%. Changing it to 100% corrected the issue I observed.
To my knowledge, I have not been inside this pop-up window before to set the Scale option. Could this value be affected by other actions within Firefox? I noticed this while using v12 which was installed 24Apr2012.I know it worked correctly since that installation, so why did the Scale value change?
UPDATE: I just realized that the Scale option in print preview sets the Scale value in the settings. NOTE TO ALL: This is a sticky setting, not just a setting for a specific output request.

Thanks but I found my problem. It was easy oncew I found out the flask player was also called shockwave. My shockwave add-on was disabled. I'm not certain what caused the condition. I was good one day and not getting the error messages the next day. But, I know what to look for in the future if it reoccurs. Thanks again.

We are using Oracle ERP in our company which is a web based ERP system. I am using firefox to work in ERP for convinieince pf working and using internet at the same time. This requires a plugin provided by oracle oajinit.exe to be installed in Plugins it is a JAVA plugin which opens the ERP Screens. This works fine in versions prior to 3.6 version of firefox. However, after upgrading to 3.6 version the forms do not open and firefox crashes. Due to this i am not able to upgrade to the latest version else i'll have to operate the ERP in internet explorer and using firefox for browsing which i do not want. Included in the message box is a link to www.firefox.com, when I click on the link I get a page with various downloads and a message saying that my Firefox is up to date.

This issue can be caused by the presence of leftover files in the Firefox program folder (defaults\pref) like a file firefox.js that overrides the update URL with a wrong link.
Do a clean reinstall and be sure to remove the Firefox program folder to remove the file(s) that cause the problem.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

I believe you're referring to an item on Minion Pro's Release Notes document. I've checked the latest version of this family and I'm sorry to tell you that Minion Pro does not have a full set of superiors. The comment in the Release Notes is incorrect.
