When I was running Firefox 3.6 my Norton security Suite marked each site with a green circle to indicate to me that they felt that the site was safe to go to. They also indicated the sites that they protected with a yellow rectangle.
When I switched to Firefox 4.0 those markers no longer appear.
Really would like to have that sense of security back.
What do I need to do to get Norton back on the job with Firefox

The problem is with the new operating system and sending photo via email when used in my iPad. From photo I selected 3 photos to send via email. I choose the upload key and choose to send by email. Typing text on the email is very slow.

Can you amend he system to allow emails to be sent from photo as previously.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"

The response above is only a speculative answer to the original question. DSI-Hal, did you try to flatten the text in Bluebeam Revu prior to opening it in Adobe. This has worked for me on several different documents but not sure if we are using the same version of Adobe Reader.

When I turned on my device the inbox mail was empty, in time machine does not show options to find old back up, only inbox is not listed... how I can get my inbox emails back?

I turned my macbook on and all the emails of inbox were gone. In time machine, only the inbox option does not shows option to get back old back ups... how I can get my inbox emails?

I figured it out. I couldn't see the old backups because the sparsebundle had not been properly unmounted in a previous session, so it kept giving an "already in use" error. The problem was solved by restarting the Time Capsule through the Airport Utility, mounting the sparsebundle by double-clicking it, and then going through the "Browse other backup disks" option in the Time Machine menu bar icon.

I have the latest Adobe flash player installed but it does not show up in my add-ons or plug-ins on Firefox 3.6. In the plug-in check, it recognizes that the shockwave flash is up to date. How can I have the plug-in appear and be enabled on firefox?

I have uninstalled the flash player and installed it numerous times with no recognition by the Firefox plug-ins. I also have uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it as well. I have also restarted my computer several times as well. The flash player is certainly installed but not working on Firefox. Thanks in advance for your help.

You did not get an email, you got a MMS. You have to enable MMS on your phone before you can see the picture.

Mouse not active on top 1/4 of page. Won't give a pointing finger there. Can't log out or use any of the tabs at the top of a page. Internet Explorer does not do this, but we like your browser better. We just downloaded an update and the problem persists.

On this page we cannot log out or use the search box or pick desktop or mobile. Once we get down to the "firefox help/forum" level the pointing finger comes up and we can activate a mouse click there. Above that nothing.

I started downloading a song from iTunes and then stopped it in the middle of the download cause it froze, but when I tried to redownload it, iTunes said the song was already downloaded. But it does not show up in my music library on my phone. Help?

I bought a song on iTunes and it started downloading but then about half way through it seemed to stop downloading so I pressed the square stop button in he middle of the downloading circle so that I could try and restart the download. But when I went back to iTunes, instead of having the cloud and the arrow to let me download the song from the cloud next to it, it said "Play" as if I had already downloaded the song. So I went back to my music library to try and find the song but it's not there and iTunes isn't letting me download it cause it says I already have it. Please help.

In 5.0 URL does not show in location bar when I am using a second Firefox window

I have a lot of problems when using a second window for Firefox 5.0. (I have two monitors and like an open browser on each.) One problem is that when I open a new tab, the URL of a site that I go to does not show in the location bar. It just says "Go to a Web site."
I don't understand why a second copy of the browser acts so differently than the first. Can someone explain this to me? Is there any way to avoid this?
FYI: I had the same problem with 4.0 and reinstalled an older version. But the newest version of WordPress suggested upgrading Firefox, which I did.

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13+ versions. Uninstall that extension.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
