When using FullRowSelect in a DataGridView, is there a way to not have it unselect every other row if you click on a row that is already selected?

I want to do this for Dragging and Dropping multiple rows purposes. After the user selects multiple rows they expect to be able to click on one of those rows to start a drag and drop for all of them. Now, I have to tell them when they select the last
row, they need to keep the mouse button down and then start the drag which nobody is used to.

Hello Jim,
The way you suggested the user is common way to select and drag, where will these selected rows dragged to?
If possible, you could consider adding a button to move these rows to target control instead of letting user drag and drop manually.

Create a NEW account using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.
Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card
Using those instructions you may also be able to select PayPal if that is allowed in your country.

When using Zoom on the iPad, is there a way to keep the keyboard the regular size?

I'm trying the iPad 2, and being visually impaired, I need to use Zoom with it, but having it zoom in on the keyboard makes it very frustrating because typing takes a very long time. This is really what's going to make or break me buying an iPad. The apps for reading things like textbooks and other documents are fantastic, but the issue with the keyboard being zoomed in is making me wary about buying it. I know that I could use a blootooth keyboard, but that doesn't work very well when I'm in a lecture trying to type out these notes on my lap.

Unless you enabled Find My iPad on it before it was stolen then there isn't any way to try and locate it and/or send a message or remotely wipe it (you can't disable the iPad). If you did enable it then you could try locating it either via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPad disabled on it.
I assume that you've reported it to the police (?). You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc., and if it was a cellular model then you should also contact your carrier

When I get a call on my iPhone and answer it my mac keeps alerting me about the call that I can not hear at first.
I have yet to find a way to be silently alerted on the mac.
I tried in system preferences->notifications->FaceTime selecting alert style of none and unchecking 'Play sound for notifications'
yet it keeps howling when I get a call.
Besides disabling cellular calls in FaceTime, and thereby disabling the whole feature, is there yet another way? Or at least to put
the volume down lower?

That's the right answer, assuming that you may want that field to be in a
serialized object of that class. If you don't want the field serialized,
then making the field transient will cause Kodo to use
persistence-modifier="none" by default.

I do not wish to answer three questions that I can't remember to get into iTunes. Is there any way to convince Apple to take them off my account?

I believe that is not possible. This is one of Apple's security features and should be abided. Rememeber, we all agreed to the terms and conditions. This might cause great inconvenience at first but I think we'll get used to this soon.

You posted with a Tag saying you were using iWork for iCloud on Mac OSX 10.7.5.
Are you sure you only have Pages 5, because if you migrated from your old System, Pages '09 should be in your Applications/iWork folder.
The plain and simple truth is you are not going to make a silk purse out a Sow's Pages 5.
No matter how hard you try.
I give solutions to Pages 5 where they exist but don't have the pixie dust to make it happen if it doesn't.

Is there any way to NOT have iTunes/iPod movies show up under Movies in FR?

I only want the movies in my Movie folder to show up in Front Row. Right now the movies in thr Movie folder are relegated to the bottom, after a long list of the mpeg4 files that I have in iTunes. These are lower res. movies to watch on my small iPod screen, whereas the higher res movies in my Movie folder are for watching on my large monitor. Is there a way to eliminate the list of iTunes mpeg4 movies from the Front Row menus (or at least combining them into one folder)?

Hi Marty J. I tried what you said, but all my iTunes Movies still form a longlist at the beginning of Front Row's Movie selection.
Incidentally, unless I misunderstood you, you can't "change" the "Show" box to anything. All I could do was to type "iPod Movies" into the "Show" box. Afterwards, FR shows no category called "iPod Movies" and all of my iPod movies still create a long list before I finally reach the movies of my "Movie" folder (i.e., Users>username>Movies). I want the contents of the Users>username>Movies folder to show up at the top of the list in Front Row. I don't want to have to scroll all the way thru 60+ iPod movies before I get to this folder's contents. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

After importing photos from the iPhone or from any digital camera with iPhoto, iPhoto includes the option to delete photos from the camera when the import process is complete.
Are you not provided with this option?
Photo storage on the iPhone is similar to that of iPhoto, iTunes and the Address Book application.
A photo cannot be in an iPhoto album without being available in the main iPhoto library also. Delete the original from the main iPhoto library that is available in an album or albums and the photo will no longer be available in the album or albums.
The same with iTunes and music Playlists and the Address Book application and Address Book Groups.
When selecting an iPhoto album to be transferred to the iPhone that contains 20 photos, all photos are available in the iPhone's Photo Library - this is like the main photo library with iPhoto on your Mac and all photos are available in the photo album transferred to your iPhone but this does not mean the photos are duplicated.
This is beneficial with transferring multiple iPhoto albums to the iPhone.
On the iPhone you have the following:
Camera Roll - stores photos captured by the iPhone only.
Photo Library - stores photos transferred from your computer to the iPhone only and stores all transferred photos available in all albums.
Photo Albums.
I have the following with names of my iPhoto albums changed to protect the innocent.
Photo Library (118)
Album #1 (8)
Album #2 (6)
Album #3 (39)
Album #4 (15)
Album #5 (6)
Album #6 (6)
Album #7 (4)

All photos available in all albums totals 118 photos. This way I can select an album and view photos available in the selected album only or I can select Photo Library and view all photos available in all albums.

I have a formatted search that returns a big chunk of data, some comments that are then added to. When the fs is fired, it returns the data, but all of the data is highlighted so when the user starts typing they overwrite the data that was just returned. I know they could just hit the right arrow key or click their mouse at the end, but they don't do that half of the time. I also know they could use ctrl-z or undo when they do this, but they don't do that either. It would just be nice if they could fire the fs and when the data is returned, the cursor would be at the end of the data.
Any thoughts?

I don't think there are any options for you to change default system behavior like this. What you may do is to change your FMS logic to get only one record if possible. Post your query here if you can.

Is there a way to NOT have FCP7 auto create a new project at launch?

I can't find it anywhere in User Preferences, but is there a setting somewhere in FCP that will open only the Browser and Viewer upon launching FCP7, and NOT generate a sequence/timeline and Canvas automatically?
Unchecking "Bring all windows to front upon launch" doesn't do it. Neither does unchecking "open last project upon launch".
I'm trying to get at launch, just the browser and Viewer, like you get when you close an open project, but don't shut down the application.
I know you can hold down the OPTION key while double-clicking the FCP icon on the dock, and that does it, but is there a setting somewhere in FCP so you don't have to hold that key upon launch?

We have windows xp and my dad and I have seperate usernames on the computer each with itunes, however we shared an itunes id. Now with the new itunes each other's icloud music shows up in each of our librarys. Is there a way to not have icloud music show?

Basically I don't want the icloud to show up in my library or a viewing option that lets me hide it. Everything I've tried just simply gets rid of the little cloud icon in the library. I don't want to delete the songs from icloud just so that when I'm viewing my library only the songs on the computer show.
This has been an annoying problem because like I said on my each of our seperate librarys eachothers music shows up from the icloud and we have different tastes and I don't want his stuff intermixed and playing with mine when I'm in my library.

Turn it off.
Edit > Preferences > Store > Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases
