When using my iMac the screen judders momentarily
Mu imac screen judders, freezes momentarily then goes back to normal. Annoying more than anything but I ask whether this cd be anything potentially serious?

To start troubleshooting this issue where your iMac's screen will not illuminate, please reset your SMC by following the information outlined below.
Resetting the SMC for Mac Pro, Intel-based iMac, Intel-based Mac mini, or Intel-based Xserve
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord.
Wait fifteen seconds.
Attach the computer's power cord.
Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: For Intel-based Xserve computers that are not responding, you can shut down locally, or by using remote commands, or by pressing and holding the power button for five seconds.

When using my ipad air it keeps coming off the page I'm on or app I am using and going back to the home screen. Also when using my ipad the screen will go white with a black apple icon in the middle for about 20 seconds then it makes a ping sound and goes to the home screen. Could anyone help please. When I am using my IPad, the screen will get dim and I need to tap the screen to get it to brighten up again. This happens repeatedly while I am using it. Is there something I can do to stop that from happening?
You don't necessarily need to set it to never...being set that way, you'll risk depleting the battery in case you forget to lock the screen.
Instead, use a value greater than your previous 2 minute setting...see which time setting would work for you. The settings are:
2 Minutes
5 Minutes
10 Minutes
15 Minutes
Never -
When using crop tool the screen goes all black
When I select the crop tool and drag it across the photo to select crop area, the screen goes all black so that I cannot see the area selected or modify its size.
All the boxes (size and resolution) of the tool are clear.
Can somebody help me?
I did try resetting all tools but didn't change anything, I restarted the program, I restarted the computer and is still happening.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.The advice that seems to work most often with this kind of failure is to update your video drivers from the web site of the maker of your video card.

When use multiple spaces, the screen start flickering
This is quite a strange problem. When I run my macbook air with only one desktop (space), it works just fine. However, when I add more desktop (space), the screen will start flickering. Then when I remove all other desktops (spaces), it stops flickering.
Is this the software or hardware problem? I doesn't have this issue on my Macbook Pro.

Does anyone know why when streaming a movie from my iMac the screen on my tele goes grey but I still get audio. It only happens when using the DVD application on the mac. iPhoto streams fine.
You are prevented from Airplay mirroring certain things like DVD content as the material is usually protected so you get a checkerboard type display. I think there is a theoretical risk that the Airplay stream could be intercepted and the protected video copied, albeitin lower quality.
Apple may be being cautious or are required to do so with the DVD player app by movie studios/licensing authorities. It makes no sense to the average consumer who is just trying to send their purchased DVD to the TV via the computer and AppleTV.
Playback in something like VLC should work - not tried it myself but others have commented it doesn't have the restriction. -

It's possible you've got a 'hot corner' set up. If you have and move the mouse to a certain corner of the screen it'll do as you describe. Have a look in System Preferences>Mission Control, bottom left of the window click on the 'Hot Corners' button and see if there is anything in there.

Does this issue occur with any file that you try to send, or do you find that it's specific to one file? If it's a file-specific error, and the file is large, please try sending the file via Adobe SendNow. (You can sign in to Adobe SendNow at Sign in or create an account | Adobe SendNow using the same credentials you use to sign in to Adobe Send.)

Regarding your new Guest Account.
If it is the Guest User created by Find My Mac, it is advisable that you leave it be in order to maintain the functionality of the Find My Mac system. It is not a typical guest account. A person can't use the account to log into the system. It only permits the user (presumably a thief) to use a crippled version of Safari, in which the thief will reveal his/her location, hopefully to an end result wherein you may be able to recover the stolen computer.
The very nature of this unique guest account is to increase the security of the system, not to degrade it as a typical guest account might do. -
i plugged in my iphone 4 for the first time to my computer to back everything up. but when i got to the screen to click on "new phone" or restore to the "same phone" i clicked "same phone by accident. now i have all of my old information from my G3s on my new iphone 4. how can i reverse this? please help.

Unfortunately, iTunes was told to restore all data from an old backup onto the new phone, and that cannot be undone.
However, prior to this, iTunes 10 would have also asked to make a backup of the phone before doing the restore. If the user elects to say "yes" to perform the backup, then iTunes would have backed up the phone before erasing it.
Hopefully, that backup will still be available in iTunes, and if so, it would be backed up under the new phone's name prior to it being erased and restored (if the name of the new phone is different to the name of the old phone).
To check if iTunes has a backup of the phone prior to the restore, look in the Devices category in iTunes Preferences. All backups made are timestamped and are identified with the iPhone's name at the time of the backup. Look for:
• a backup of the phone using the new phone's name prior to the erase and restore, or
• a backup with the same date and time as that when the phone was erased and restored (not the date and time AFTER when the phone was erased and restored!). This may be the case if the new and old phones have the same name.
If a backup is available, you can erase and restore again using that backup. The phone will be restored with what would hopefully be the original image of the new phone.
If no backup was made prior to erasing and restoring the phone initially, then there is no way to
undo it, meaning your phone's original data has been lost.

My iPad mini shows 10 updates in the App Store-on the updates icon, but when I click it-the screen is blank. Help!!
It's a long running glitch, as the hundreds of threads on this topic demonstrate.
You can wait it out and wait for Apple to fix the servers or you can go into your purchased tab and manually download each update (you'll find the app icons with little update banners on them.
Alternatively, if you sync with a computer, you can use the iTunes on your computer to download the updates then sync them onto your device.
