When using my macbook pro online via safari the arrow keys will not move the cursor in a text box if I have used the track pad to zoom in. They will only move the screen from left to right. They used to move the cursor around a sentence regardless of zoom
Im running mountain lion and all software is up to date on my mac book pro, late 2010 model.
Thanks, but this didn't work. I only turned extensions on for the first time last evening and this problem has been happening before that. I tried it anyway but the same results.

Black screen from left to right then restart
I have the latest ipad. After running for a few minutes the screen goes black from left to right. After about 30 secs the screen goes back to the apple logo and then the passcode. I updated to ios6, but it didn't help. I tried synching, but everytime it does the restart it looses its connection and can't be seen by itunes. Any ideas?

Status bar moves from left to right, while using "find"?
I use the "Find" (ctrl + F) feature quite a bit, and when the "Find" tab is viewable at the bottom, the status bar information moves from the left side of the screen to the right side. This is very off-putting to me and I was wondering if there was any way that this could be fixed so that it always appears in the same spot.

You can save a copy of your passwords file, but I don't think you can open it without Firefox.

What you should do is figure out why no songs will sync:
Is there an Apple ID problem? That's the most likely reason. Maybe you haven't signed in to your Apple ID on iTunes. Maybe the Apple ID on your computer differs from that on your iPhone.
Have you been syncing your iPhone to some other computer? It only syncs to one computer.
Are you using the latest iTunes? The current version is 11.0.5. -

Is there a reason the arrow keys don't work with ipad dock
Is there a reason that the arrow keys appear not to work with the ipad dock? I can understand if the citrix app needs an update (would be great to use with excel) but it also doesn't work with numbers the mac app. Is there a reason they are on the keyboard if they are not for use? Safari they don't do scrolling but really wanted it for use with spreadsheets. Can anyone tell me if I just need to switch on something in settings?

Having resent my iPad using the Settings route, the Apple logo appeared onscreen and a line below it filled from left to right. When full, the device did nothing. I was able to switch it off and back on, only to see the same Apple logo and filled line. Even pressing the ON botton for a few seconds did nothing. The device is now inert, and I cannot access it. Please help!!!

I need help deleting videos, tv shows, and movies downloaded from itunes. I have followed the instructions to delete from the macbook, I selected the videos I wanted to delete and right clicked to delete. Nothing happens. When I double click on the video it still starts playing. I also followed the instructions to delete the videos from the iphone by swiping from left to right with nothing happening. I opened the videos on the ipad and there is no edit selection like in the instructions on the support page. I am using pages designing a flow chart, question "I seem to have an issue with the arrows that you can add text to, it appears I can not move the point of the arrows up or down they only switch from left to right.
Last point...who archives? On my regular email page I now have the Archive icon to the left of my Delete icon which I would prefer was to the left, first in the line as this is the icon I use mostly. With Folders, my Sent and Trash lists, who needs to archive?
I can help you only with the placement of the icon placement -- if you right-mouse click on the toolbar, then select Customize Toolbar, you can move an icon to where you want it to be. -

You see, I'm left handed and when I use the scroll bar that is on the right side with the left hand I don't actually see the content of the page, because my left hand is covering the screen (I'm browsing the internet in tablet mode and I use the pen to navigate between pages).
My system is a Tablet PC with Windows XP Tablet Edition 2005 and Adobe Reader 9.3.2.

Hi there, my internet is crashing everytime I use my macbook pro/safari it happens roughly every 2 mins, it can happen on any website.

I have had problems with internet.
Safari brings up a page you are not connected to the internet. I then look at the modem and DSL and internet lights are both flickering and or/off.
They then re-set themselves. I then have to re-set preferences on safari and quit and restart.
I have also tried using with cable into mac and modem and no difference.
I can only figure that maybe Safari is not compatible with the modem? could this be the case?

The first thing to try is changing your DNS settings - and for that you need to open System Preferences, then the
Network section.
In Network - click on Advanced - then the DNS tab
under DNS servers - use the + button to enter two extra lines
either these, from google dns
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
or from OpenDNS
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
then click OK & then 'Apply'
You would need to do that seperately for the Cable (Ethernet) settings and Wireless (Airport) -
How to change the direction of movement in atable from left to right?
As the title says i want to change the movement direction in the cells of a table in pages when i click tab key from "left to right" to "right to left", is that possible?
It seams that we aren't using the same application.
In mine, if the cell C3 is selected, pressing shift + tab select the cell B3 which is what you wanted in your original post (or I understood it wrongly).
If what you want is the ability to insert a new row above the current one or at top of a table, you can't do that this way.
Same response if you want to insert a new column to the left of the table.
To do that, the soluce is to select the top row or the leftmost column.
There is a funny bug in the menu items.
If your table has a header row, entering the menu Format > Table, we get four items:
Insert new header above
Insert new header below
if we are in the header row
or
Insert new row above
Insert new row below
Insert a column before
Insert a column after
These four menus items have shortcuts :
option up arrow
option down arrow
option left arrow
option right arrow
If the table has no header, the menu items are :
Insert new row above
Insert new row below
Insert a column before
Insert a column after
None of them display a shortcut *_but the shortcuts are active_*
