When video is on full screen, a grid appears and ruins the clarity

Is this an issue with drivers/flash/Firefox? I clear the cache regularly and I've cleared cookies, as well as disabling browser add-ons. Clearly not a common problem as I can't find anything on it!

Android Back Button when FLVPlayback component in full screen

I'm launching an FLVPlayback component in to full screen by setting fullScreenTakeOver = true and setting StageDisplayState to FULL_SCREEN in an air for android app. This works fine. The video plays in full screen
But when I press the device Back button, it quits out of the app.
Everywhere else in the app I can catch the key_down event and do preventDefault(), stopImmediatePropogation(), but the event doesn't seem to fire when FLVPlayback is in full screen.
I've tried adding the Key_Down event listener to NativeApplication.nativeApplication, to stage and to the FLVPlayback component itself. None of these seem to work.
I do, however, get the correct behaviour when I test the app in Flash IDEs simulator

Another option would be to export from the library but lr mogrify does not seem to put text overlays on video either. Any input would be welcome.

Oh, unless you shot tall.
If you shoot vertical/tall video it cannot be zoomed all the way out in the exit.
Shoot wide, or edit in a different editing app.

Problems playing itunes videos continuosly in Full Screen

Hi guys,
I have a small problem. I started to buy Videos in itunes music store and building my own MTV. So far, so good. My problem started when I started to buy some DVDs, converting the videos to MP4 format and then adding them to my itunes library. I have kept the same resolution than the original itunes videos, but I have changed the frame rate to have a little bit more quality.
When I select a video, iTunes plays it in full screen (as it is selected in the preferences). If the second video is another original iTunes, it continues in full screen. But as soon as one of the non iTunes videos starts, it goes to the main window and plays the video in the small section at the bottom-left of the screen (selected as "Now Playing"). Then, the next video goes back to full screen, even if it is a non-itunes one. It is very anoying since I have to put it back in Full screen manually.
Does anybody have the same issue? I am using the last release and patch level of Mac OS and itunes. I think that it might be related with the way that I imported the videos (using Handbrake 7). May be I need to use exactly the same format that Apple uses in itunes. Does anybody knows the exact video format that Apples uses? Do you think that it may be related with issue?
One last point. I have experienced the same problem in two different Macs. One Power PC and one Intel... I have already given up...

I HAVE THE SOLUTION!
I too was experiencing non-full screen playback between music videos / movies. I discovered that this only happened if I had en EQUALIZER setting for the music video / movie. Once I had NONE as the EQUALIZER setting my music videos / movies all played back full screen from one to the next.
Change your settings in the equalizer column as suggested and see if this works for you. It solved my problem, although I do not have my desired equalizer settings in operation!

Why does Flash 16.0.0.235 freeze up in Firefox when I go to full screen?

I just installed the latest Adobe Flash and now cannot go to full screen in Firefox without it freezing. I continues to freeze when I exit full screen. This does not happen on Explorer. I use Adblock Plus but disabled for the site and it still freezes. When I uninstalled Flash, full screen worked on video.pbs.org, but then I could not use my Pandora service.

When I go into full screen mode in Safari 5.1 on LION it switches to a new Space, making my other displays useless. Anyone else annoyed that Apple has completely left out those with multiple displays?

I had a fear that this was going to be the case, but you can't have two full screen apps open in two different displays. At least that's how Safari fullscreen works. When switching over to full screen mode in safari, it automatically creats a new space, turns on four finger gesture to swipe through full screen apps which I had turned off in place of App Switcher.
I don't use spaces because of the lack of support for using spaces with multiple displays. I would use spaces and mission control if I had control of each display's mission control separately.
The fix would be to unlink the displays so they can scroll through full screen apps by themselves. I want this feature so I can mix and match the full screen apps on my three different displays. I see this beneficial for more people with multiple displays. in the future when thunderbolt display links, people will want better support too.

No no, if you read what I said, it would be that each individual display would be customizable to the user. The way you have it, it sounds like your second display will be dedicated to scrolling through fullscreen apps not allowing you to do it on the home screen. This is silly because with my concept, you could do that, by dragging apps to fullscreen in your second display, but if you want you could tell another display to scroll through fullscreen apps (independently) if you wanted. Each display will have it's own mission control with it's own set of desktops. I also can see how some people would still want them linked together, so this could just be a little check box made in mission control prefs to "link" or "unlink" desktops with link checked by default.
With your solution you're limited to your setup. but what if the person has three or four displays? Well then your solution would limit them to one dedicated display that scrolls through fullscreen apps where mine lets a person customize their desktops depending on their preference and setup.
further example: if you have safari, address book and mail in one display, you could still have ichat, PS and Illustrator in your second, and a text editor, FTP Client and iTunes in your third. Then you would mix and match these apps but it would promote the use of mulitple displays as well as benefit people with three or more, which thunderbolt, Cinema Display and Pro computers support.

"When the computer is inactive" or "idle" means when YOU, the user, are doing nothing, neither using the keyboard nor the mouse. So you have to increase that 5 mins in Energy Saver.

It will play, but frequently stops or sound continues and picture freezes. I have noticed that if I continually move my mouse, it plays fine. All these videos play fine in IE and Chrome.

Some problems with Flash video playback can be resolved by disabling hardware acceleration in your Flash Player settings. (See [[Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems|this article]] for more information on using the Flash plugin in Firefox).

@Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.
I didn't have the exact same problem as you, but my dilemma was close enough. Good luck!
