When viewing e-mails, how do I get the message on the right-hand side?

When viewing my e-mails, the full message does not show up on the right-hand side. How can I get the complete message to appear on the right side?

Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Check the eBay listing. Did it state the device was Activation Locked? If not, then make a claim as Meg stated and get a refund. You will not be able to activate the phone and no one can help you contact the owner, unless that is the person that sold the device. If they cannot remove the phone from their account because it is not theirs, then refund is your route. Even Apple cannot assist with locating the previous owner.

At the bottom of the page Settings > Messages you should have a section headed "SMS/MMS" Turn MMS messaging on then you can turn group message on.

Hi, are you doing it through Settings or via iTunes? If doing it through Settings, try plugging it in via USB and updating with iTunes. Hope this helps.

Yes, I was aware of this but the phrase "Any items imported from audio CDs or acquired from other sources will not copy from your device to the iTunes library." is what worries me. Will this eliminate my Notes, Calendar Events, etc or will it apply mostly just to the music?

I would start by removing iTunes and all of it's components in the order specified of this article. Your iTunes Media folder will not be affected.

Media file thumbnails in browser say "media offline", but files are online and available for viewing/editing. How do I get a thumbnail of the clip back?

I am moderately experienced with FCE, but cannot figure out this issue. The thumbnails in my browser say "media offline", and no longer show a thumbnail of my video clip. When I try to reconnect the media files, the reconnect dialog box only checks for "online" media. I am able to view and work with the media files in my project even though it says they are offline. This issue seems to occur after a power outage. Its more of an annoyance than anything else, but I would still like to find a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

How do I get rid of that annoying right-hand column in Reader 11.0.3?

It just won't go away! I can't find anything on the menus to get rid of it. It blocks the view of whichever document I'm trying to read. What's odd is that when I first opened a PDF document, it looked just fine; but subsequent openings of the same document had that right-hand column blocking about one-fourth of the document, requiring horizontal scrolling. Who can be bothered? Please tell me this is an easy fix. Thank you!

Half of a solution has been offered for this problem: Click on Tools, then click on Tools again. This is so un-obvious that I have to guess it removes the column as a fluke of what's been clicked, not because that is the defined way to remove the column. And the screen shot helped those who haven't seen it. But I've been reading the Freakonomics guys and I have to say that the right question was not asked. Here's the right question:
How can I keep that stupid worthless column from EVER showing up again? I mean, it's nice to have instructions on how to change a tire, but it's even nicer to have a car that doesn't have a blowout every time I try to go for a drive!
I have searched Preferences and cannot find anything that seems to relate to it.

This sounds like a possible permissions issue. Try these steps. Uninstall iTunes and all of it's components. Next, download the newest version of iTunes and save it to your desktop rather than selecting run. Right click on the installer package and run as administrator. Just a quick question, the answer to which probably needs adding to the sticky on "Flagging Posts" or perhaps one in its own right.
How do we get messages to the Forum Mods to point out a post that might need their special help or intervention - for a variety of reasons.
Perhaps we need a second type of flag?

This could be a feature of an add-on. Could you check to see whether you have any unrecognized add-ons and disable (or remove) them. In particular:
orange Firefox button ''or'' classic Tools menu > Add-ons > Extensions category
Then restart Firefox and watch for the toolbar, which hopefully will not appear.
