When was the Query executed last time - SQ01

Hi All,
We have an ECC 6.0 System running on Oracle and os is SUN OS . When i go to TCODE SQ01 i see
many queries. I need to know when were the Queries run on the system. Is there any way to figure
this out.
Any pointers would be helpful

Not by default. There are several ways:
- You can use ST03N to find out which queries are executed (select a big timeframe)
- you can enable auditing (SM19/SM20) and track "AQ*" programs
- you can book an SLO service to find the exact number (http://service.sap.com/slo)

What Nicholas said is true, but depending what you are looking for, you may also search/review audit files created by everytime a sysdba or sysoper session was created by looking in your audit directory.
From within sqlplus, "show parameter audit"
Then, go to that directory and you will see hundreds/thousands of audit files for each time a sysdba or sysoper session was started.
Within those logs are entries such as:
Tue Mar 12 16:00:00 2013 -04:00
LENGTH : '155'
ACTION :[7] 'CONNECT'
DATABASE USER:[1] '/'
PRIVILEGE :[6] 'SYSDBA' <=========== sysdba or sysoper (I believe this is all that is captured.)
CLIENT USER:[6] 'oracle' <=========== shows the OS user that connected to the database
CLIENT TERMINAL:[0] ''
STATUS:[1] '0'
DBID:[10] '1321231341'

When was the iMac range last upgraded?

Has the 21.5 iMac been upgraded in the last 6/12 months? I'm trying to get a feel for whether a new machine is likely to be in the offing.

The iMac line was updated in early May of this year.
An easy way to check is in the online store a new/updated product will have a little "new" badge on it.

Experts, is there a way to know when was the last time a program was run (particularly, Z Program). We are trying to identify obsolete programs and avoid working on those programs that weren't touched for more than 3 years during our next upgrade. How can I find this? Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

Hi,
One way is to check TRDIR table(se11/se16) and display it. In the next screen once you will get 'Data Browser Table TRDIR' selection screen. There either you put the individual 'Z' program name in the 'Name' field & execute it or for all multiple entries execute it.
Once you execute it with the particular Z prog. name then you will get the required details like CDAT(Created on),UNAM(Last changed by),UDAT(Changed On),SDATE(Standard selection screen generation: Date),IDATE(Selection screen generation: Date) etc.

In SUIM u can find the user and the last logon along with date and time stamp
and regarding the tcodes
There is no standard transaction. The information is available for configurable time periods using transaction ST05N but it is not organized to readily provide a report of users and transactions. Also the information available summarizes a user's use of a transaction. There will be one entry (with count data) per user per time period. Daily, weekly and monthly summaries can be created and they are stored for configurable durations.
The information is summarized into a cluster table called MONI based on the STAT files that are written in the file system and regularly refreshed. MONI cannot be queried via SE16 etc., but SAP delivers a number of function modules that retrieve data from these tables.
It is also possible to configure audit logging via SM19 and read the log files via SM20. This will provide more detail but it also introduces new file management issues and requires a change to system settings.

You can't install 9.2.1 or earlier on any Mac that is only Mac OS X bootable. In fact you need to use the restore disks which came with those Macs to install 9.2.2 on those Macs. 8.6 is only possible to install on Macs which came with 8.6 or earlier. The 9.1 disk may be useful for your 1999 PowerMac G4, but won't be of any use for a 2006 Powerbook G4.

It is really a matter of your personal preference. You have to choose between the extra carrying convenience of the smaller machine and the greater "real estate" of the bigger. I use a 15", and have not found it inconvenient for carrying, even on aircraft, where it has to share backpack space with an SLR camera and assorted lenses.

Hi Ravi,
The time a report runs is estimated based on the last time it was run. So you need to run the report once before you can see how long it will take. Also it depends on several factors... the database server could cache some queries so running it a second time immediately after the first time could be quicker. And there is the chance of changing filters to bring back different sets of data.
You could also schedule a report and then check the scheduled instance's status properties and view how long a report actually ran.

Predicate pushing can help when it greatlly restricts the number of rows - you must experiment - might not work with all predicates pushed (as shown here)

Unix record the last modified date for the file/directory , but noe the date created for the files.
Is there anywhere this information is recorded in the Hyperion system ,,,like say Shared services tables...
I was just guessing that if i could find out the date when the Applicaiton was registered to the shared services, how can we check that ?

Hi all,
I try to use a stored procedure as data provider but i get this error
DA0003: Exception CS, Unable to run the query execute
I use BusObj Full Client 6.5 pointing to SQL2005.
I choose stored procedure as data providers of a new report, then choose the Oledb connection to the database in which the sproc is saved (this sproc executes some queries, all on the same db). Then I fill in the parameter of the sproc and when i click OK I get this error.
The sp works fine if executed from a query tool. Basically it queries BusObj Security Domain in order to get the documents a single user has linked (both enabled and disabled). It doesn't do nothing exceptionall except using some table variables... I tried also with this simple func:
CREATE FUNCTION [dbo].[Yesterday] (@date int)
RETURNS int AS BEGIN
   DECLARE @Yesterday int
   SET @yesterday = convert(varchar, DATEADD(dd, -1, convert(datetime, str(@date), 112) ), 112)

But it returns the same error!
I tried changing middleware to the DB from oleDB to ODBC but in this case it doesn't prompt me for parameters and when i click execute it fails saying the sproc expects a parameter...
I have no idea of what the cause may be... Can anybody help please?

Could you please test the following solutions to resolve the issue.
Solution1:
Test the issue by inserting the following parameter in .SBO file.
<Parameter Name="Force SQLExecute">Always</Parameter> .
Solution2
Just put SET NOCOUNT OFF in the end of the stored procedure SQL.
If the above doesnu2019t works then please try the following solution.
Solution3
Make the new connection from the scratch using ODBC connection and test the issue.

How can I find out when was a particular table last updated? I need to find out the usage of this table - when was it last updated, etc. Thanks in advance. The version I am using is Oracle 9i.

If you don't have any application level logging, and auditing is not enabled, there's not much hope.
You could, if you have archive logs available, go trawling through archive logs via logminer, but that's likely to prove painful and not very fruitful, unless you're very meticulous and patient...
