When we can share internet in Costa Rica

I have the iphone 4. But in Costa Rica we cant share internet. The company (ICE) says is a apple problem. What I can expect?

There is nothing in the iPhone or iOS that would prevent the iPhone from tethering, if that's what you mean, except a carrier not supporting it. Whoever at ICE said that it's Apple's problem is just flat wrong. ICE has to provide and enable the service, and they're the only ones who can change things. As of May 9th, ICE had announced tethering would come but has not announced a date that I can find.

Last I heard, back in JUNE was that it was coming. I just finished shooting the Calallen HS Football and Cheer squads. It would be nice to have the coaches be able to view the folder and pick the images they want. Having to send links for 175 images is just plain nuts.

Why my iPhone 3GS can't share internet with another iPod, iPhone or iPad with iOS 6.x?

I am from Mexico, sorry from my 'english'.
I have an iPhone 3GS with iOS 6.1.3, i can share internet with USB and Bluetooth.
It's ok, but when want share, my iPhone 4S with iOS 6.1.3 doesn't detect the 3GS, and vice versa.
When i try connect with Bluetooth with a iPod Touch Fourth Generation with iOS 6.1.5, i can't too, they doesn't detect too.
When i try connect with Bluetooth with a iPod Touch Fifth Generation with iOS 7.0.4, it works!!
When i try connect with Bluetooth with a iPod Touch Third Generation with iOS 5.1.1, it works!!
¿What can i do? I can't connect with Bluetooth with whatever terminal with iOS 6.x.x

Your best bet is to switch phones with your carrier and get your 4S on the data account.
Otherwise, try resoring the iOS in your iPhone 3GS via iTunes.

How to share internet connection using 5G wifi/channel 36~48

I'm using a 15 inch late 2013 MacBook Pro with retina display running 10.10.1 and iPhone 5S A1530 running iOS 8.1.
I use an Apple thunderbolt to ethernet adapter at work for internet and it's all cool and fine.
The problem comes when I try to share the internet connection with my phone through wifi. It's alright if I use channel 1 to 11. But when I try the 5G channels: 36, 40, 44, 48, it just doesn't work. The wifi icon in the top right corner of my screen has a wave animation and then nothing. It just goes back to grey instead of an arrow pointing upwards. In the slimmest hope of a display error, I search nearby wifi signal with my phone and nothing.
I have a 5G router at home and both my laptop and my phone can connect to its 5G signal. So the hardware should be fine.
It's weird since it should be working as Apple decided to put an option there for user to choose from all the channels, among which lie the four 5G channels.
So to conclude, my laptop with a functioning 5G wifi module can share internet connection through 2.4G wifi but not 5G.

I've turned on NAT and attempted to create a new Subnet using DHCP but it doesn't offer me Airport in the network interface menu (only en0 and fw0). Airport is turned on in network system prefs.
Have you actually configured the AirPort network with its own IP address settings (in a different subnet from the wired ethernet port)?
Having the interface enabled isn't enough to make it a viable gateway interface. It needs an IP address/subnet mask too.

Cannot share internet

I have a first generation 15" MacBook Pro running the latest version of Leopard. I am trying to share my internet access from my ethernet to all AirPort devices. I plug in my ethernet cord, share my internet from "ethernet" to "AirPort", turn internet sharing on, but my wireless icon does not change. When I check to see if the network has been created, I find that it hasn't.
Using the same ethernet cord, I plug it into my old 15" PowerBook G4 running the latest version of Tiger, do the same thing, and I can share internet.

How can I have a call with someone from Customer Support if I live in Costa Rica? I have forgotten the answers to my security questions and basically I can't buy anything on iTunes. I do not have a rescue email account otherwise I won't be writing here.

I have been trying to fix this by myself but I gave up! I don't remember the answers I provided before. Tried to have a call with apple support but it seems that this is not an option if you live in Costa Rica. How am I supposed to spend the credit I have in my apple account?

Cannot connect to internet through AirPort in Costa Rica - HELP!

I have been traveling Costa Rica for the past few days, and have had no problem connecting to WIFI across the country, but, tonight, I am not able to connect. I clicked on my AirPort icon > Open Network Preferences. The Status reads "On", BUT under the status is a message that says:
"AirPort has the self-assigned IP address 169... and will not be able to connect to the internet."
Reading through the posts here, I have tried several fixes...
- Renew DHCP Lease
- Repair permissions
...And still no luck.
I have no access to the router itself, because I am staying at a bed and breakfast. Anyone have any other ideas?
I really appreciate your help in advance. I love this community!

This is obviously seems to be a DHCP problem, do you have any other wireless devices with you like an iPhone, iPad or just any wireless capable device ? If yes, try to connect through it and see if it will obtain a valid IP address successfully, if it didn't, then surely it's a router issue that it isn't able to distribute IP addresses, if you don't have a second device, can you see any ethernet connections in the wall ? another solution is to contact the IT person at your location and ask him if you should configure your network settings manually and if so, what would be the settings. Sometimes something as simple as restarting the router fixes similar issues

IPhone 3GS can't share internet connection with a windows 7 64 bit version?

I have an iPhone 3GS with the latest iOS installed, then the personal hotspot option is ON and it shares internet connection to a laptop with Windows 7, 32 bit version and with the latest version of itunes installled (10.6.1.7).
But when I connect this same iPhone to another laptop with Windows 7, 64 bit version with the latest version of itunes 64 bit, there is no internet sharing, no error, no signal of fails, it is just as if the hotspot option were OFF.
Its is posible to share internet from iPhone 3GS to a PC with Windows 7, 64 bit version?

I would suggest trying the steps in this guide for the installation troubles you are having on your one specific Windows 7 computer.
Windows 7: The Progress Bar on the Software Installation Stops or Stalls
You can also try disabling your firewall while you run the installation to see if that helps.

I've been already accepted but having problems with the bank info. Im in costa rica, have accounts in 3 differents banks and when I try with their entity number I get alway the same response there is not a bank we can pAY...WOW I am about to give up.
