We r group working for e-Goverment, our database based on oracle 6i.
We have to suggestions for developement (ASP.NET and OAEX) but we cannot choose one of them.
So, would u help us with difference between ASP.NET and OAEX please?
and When we ue ASP.NET and OAEX?
Is OAEX only Query Language with some web design features?
This is cretical problem for us.

the support links for apex not immediatly like ASP.NET this is cretical problem.I have no idea what you mean by this, you will need to explain in more detail.
Arabic Language : is it supported in Apex??Depends what you mean by 'supported'? You can develop applications which are displayed in Arabic yes.
with Apes like image uploading, processing and resizng from front end side. Yes you can upload and process images easily with APEX, if by resizng you mean resize the images after uploading then yes you can do that too, if you search in these forums there are some examples of how you can do that.
can i generate pdf or doc forms from my DB resultsYes, you can currently (with version 2.2 and before) using PL/PDF or FOP to generate PDF's (again search these forums for relevant messages). Version 3.0 of APEX will also make it even easier to generate PDF's etc.
can I send email to my clients or visitors of my site?Yes, using the apex_mail (or htmldb_mail if you're using an older version) package.
security issues: like cookies session, remote IP Address. Not sure what your question is exactly?
Exceptions in web page could be handeled?Yes, of course, that is possible.

This procedure reclaims unused memory after performing operations requiring large amounts of memory (more than 100K).
Examples of operations that use large amounts of memory include:
Large sorting where entire sort_area_size is used and sort_area_size is hundreds of KB.
Compiling large PL/SQL packages, procedures, or functions.
Storing hundreds of KB of data within PL/SQL indexed tables.

Why doesn't itunes 11 (Win) show us the length of podcasts? Only new ones d/l thru it show, and even then not - when I can use an old version (10) and it shows me much more info. Am I missing a setting? Thanks!!!

Cannot see or sort podcasts via itunes 11 (Win) like I could in iTunes 10 .. am I missing something? Same goes for playlists. I often take old-time-radio music and/or shows and need them in date-order to make them work (say, ep 1 is one date, ep 2, etc - among dozens of titles). IS there is a setting or did Apple just get rid of it? I have a laptop with iTunes 10 but have tried to get used to the newer versions on my Mom's PC. I don't want to update until I can use it the same way.
Serial radio must be in order. And I have to at least see that in the display to put it in a playlist. Podcasts that show dates from several years ago in ver. 10 no long show anything like it now. Nor, btw, does length of file play. I use it as an over night "podcast radio" and need it to make sense. aIf I need extra steps outside of iTunes okay. Just wish Apple had made it clear and it hasn't.

Once you do get things working... Hardware crashes or virus infections happen, so you should buy software to make a full backup of your hard drive to an external USB hard drive... plus, making step-by-step backups during a new install or major program addition makes it easy to go back a step if something doesn't work
This backup and then restore is, of course, only to the same computer with a new drive (or the same drive as long as you don't mind writing over everything) since doing a restore to a new computer won't work due to Windows and many programs having activation information that is keyed to your hardware (which is why Windows will force you to RE-Activate if you change very much hardware)

Image runs off of a bootable CD via Linux (the Zip you download includes a program to make the bootable CD) and it reads EVERYTHING on the drive, even the hidden registration information, so everything is restored when needed... and you may restore the image to a brand new drive in case of a crash, and not have to re-install anything
Please note that I own no part of Image, and I don't get a referral fee (that is just a plain web link) but I use the program and it has saved me a LOT of trouble when I had a hard drive die... and I was able to restore everything and not have to re-install or re-activate a single program, from Windows on up

Statistical Key Figure (SKF) is a base to allocate the cost between cost centers. Usually, common cost centers cost should allocate to respective department cost centers on monthly basis.
Some of SKFs are: Calculating floor rent on SFT, Telephone charges on No. of units, and employees head count is with "Each" in SAP.
Apart from Ajay's reply, you can consider the Canteen exp in an organization. Assume Admin, Fin and Mfg departments are getting food services from Canteen. Here, total monthly cost of Canteen exp should be allocated to respective departments. Here, we use SKF as total head count of each department and distribute the cost.
Planned SKF is what you planned on the beginning of a period. (Assume head count was planned as 30 in the month beginning)
Actual SKF is what exactly you consumed over the period. (Actual employees provided canteen services during the month is 25)

What can I do when I can use the the back button, bookmarks, and it does not remember my history of sites?

My disk on my computer said there was no more space. It wanted me to force quit what I was using. When I did that, firefox lost all my history in sites and bookmarks. I can't make bookmarks when I press the star. It won't let me. It won't save my history of any site. I tried reinstalling firefox on my computer but it did not work. The back and forward buttons do not work, so i have to re-type the site of use another tap. I basically can't customize cause these buttons and things do not work.

If there is no space please free up some space, free space especiall over to c drice (System drive) is really necessary not only for firefox but for each and every program, for instance if I am right your computer must be running slow right now.
Once you have free up some space I would also recommended you to basically check "Is your antivirus is uptodate ???" if it's not please update it.
If problem persist I would recommended downloading a fresh latest version of firefox from www.mozilla.org

After I downloaded IOS 6, why does my FaceTime decide when I can use it?

I have an IPhone 4S and it previously had IOS 5. I have never had problems
calling my husband on FaceTime until I upgraded to IOS 6. Now, most of the
time, when I try calling him, it says that he is not available for face time. He
has an IPone 4 and upgraded to IOS 6 the same day I did. He can call me,
but he says it takes him 3 attempts before it goes through. On the other hand,
when I try and it won't go through, it won't go through at all and I have even
tried up to 15 attempts. We use it all the time because he is overseas. If
anyone has an answer to this problem or knows how to fix it, please respond.

I'm saying that there are occasional times it will go through for me but very few. It seems the only time it works for me to call him is after he calls me on face time and the call fails. I have been in my house and away from my house when this occurs. We have the same cellular provider but he is overseas and I'm in the states. We didn't have this problem until after we upgraded out phones to iOS 6. That is why I'm saying that I don't think it had anything to do with the Internet connection. I don't think I can do anything to fix this. It's either his phone or mine that iOS isn't responding accordingly with. If there is anything else you can think of that has to do with the phones let me know. Other than that it is neither the Internet connection or cellular provider unless they are conflicting with iOS 6 some how which I doubt. Yes, cellular is turned on. Thank you.

Sergio - You're right, that doesn't work but why bother protecting that item? It's sort of an indirect link and the real protection you need is on the other items that might be set in the link. So I would just keep that item Unrestricted and move on.

Should I do all editing with proxy files to improve performance. Editing, color correction effects?
I just saw a video where one guy said after you replace your proxy files then you can start effects, but I was thinking wait doesn't that defeat the purpose?
I am rocking a basic mac book pro right now so anything to help make editing smoother so knowing when I can use proxy files would really help me out.
