When will Adobe fix 'Acrobat not launch after 30 days' issue?

For several users at our company this is a major problem.  For myself as well because I have had to reinstall CS6 multiple times for the same user.  This is not a permanent solution.
When will there be a permanent fix for this dear Adobe?

Hi NBQuery,
Adobe has already released a patch to fix the same.
Please refer the KB doc : http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/acrobat-failed-launch-30-days.html
and install the patch. It will definitely fix the issue you are facing.

  • When will Adobe fix Dreamweaver's FTP module?

Dreamweaver's FTP module has sucked really bad ever since I started using it back in version 3 when Macromedia owned it.
I use passive FTP mode and have tried every other trick and method suggested to me over the years but here is my problem.
Fetch works perfectly, ALL of the time... The only time I get a problem with a server timing out, it is because the server ACTUALLY TIMED OUT or was unavailable.
95% of the time with Dreamweaver's crappy FTP client, I have to constantly disconnect and re-connect to EVERY ftp server I connect to, in order to get the stupid timeout status bar to stop displaying over and over again. Dreamweaver constantly times out when uploading even a single file to an FTP server, and sits there hanging up on the connection over and over again.
I am greatly disappointed that version CS4 is just as crummy as all previous versions of Dreamweaver.
Just Google "Dreamweaver FTP sucks" and you will see I am not alone with my dislike of this FTP client.
I will continue to use Fetch for most of my needs, but it would be convenient to be able to use the "PUT" button in dreamweaver from time to time without locking up the program in the process.

Wow, a lot of response since that original post.
I've been a web professional for the last 13 years and have been using Dreamweaver since version 2. The FTP client has always been a buggy "POS." I have worked with tons of developers and designers who all agree, that is why pros use a dedicated FTP client like FileZilla in tandem.
I just think it would be nice to be able to hit the "put" button while I am working on a file without having to wait for timeouts and all the garbage that happens in Dreamweaver. There really is no rhyme or reason why these timeout errors happen to me, but I have found over the years that certain FTP sites and / or networks I am on will give me more problems than others.
What is consistent though is that EVERY TIME I have one of these problems in Dreamweaver I can jump to FileZilla and upload the same file without any problems at all.
Now, my question — Is it really THAT difficult for Adobe to create a reliable FTP sub-program inside of Dreamweaver since they have had several years since they bought Macromedia to do so? You would think it not to be that difficult considering the complexity of most of the software in their suite.
All of the file management in Dreamweaver sucks. Their implementation of SVN is pretty much completely useless as I have tried using it more than once and always revert back to command line or Cornerstone to do my version control. I can't imagine the future rollout of FTPS to actually work at this point.
Other than those issues I really like dreamweaver but I am getting to the point I may just jump ship and use a code editor like BBedit or something along those lines. Its hard to break old habbits and the workflow you are used to though.
Has anyone tried out CS 5.5? Is it any better? I am running CS 5 and there is no difference in the FTP client from previous versions in that respect.

  • When will Apple fix the iTunes update msvcr80.dll issue?

Just for the records, my Windows iTunes has become unusable, too. The buggy update 11.4.1 ist still offered to my other windows installations. At least, it should be immediately pulled back.
When will Apple deliever an automated bugfix to this update-mess? I do not intend to de-install and reinstall all my Apple-programs on my Windows machine (in fact, I don't use iTunes on Windows  anymore, my Macs run flawless and there I have the actual database). Apple: you broke it. You fix it.
So far, no official Apple statement to this problem?  (Monday, 27.1. 2014 10:15 MET)
    It is getting time...

These are user to user support forums.  There is no logical reason to expect a response from Apple here.  Frankly Apple rarely releases statements, only software updates.

  • Smike47's problem is not isolated. We have same problem. When will Adobe fix the problem?

Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional Registration Popup occurs every time Adobe is opened.
    Tremendous waste of time/money.
Come on Adobe. You are smarter than this!

OK, one important point of information you did not provide was the subversion of AA8. If you are using AA8.0 for instance, you have a lot of updates to do that may very likely fix the problem. It seems to have been resolved a long time ago for others (I have not heard about his in about 2 or more years) and the updates may resolve the issue. Version 8 is about at 8.4.3 as I remember off hand -- in any case a lot beyond 8.0.

  • When will apple fix the 10.9.2 crash issue??

10.9.2 keeps crashing...Finder, Mail, Safari....How about fixing it?

Performed any maintenance lately? Hopefully you have backed up all your important data just in case.
Since the Finder, Mail, and Safari are crashing, that's an indication the startup disk may need repairing.
Launch Disk Utility located in HD > Applications > Utilities
Select the startup disk on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click:  Verify Disk  (not Verify Disk Permissions)
If DU reports errors, restart your Mac while holding down the Command + R keys. From there you can access the built-in utilities to repair the disk using  OS X Recovery

  • TS1717 My Itunes will not launch after downloading and I have tried all the troubleshooting for itunes for Windows 7 64-bit. Do I need to system reboot my computer than try to download it again?

My Itunes will not launch after downloading and I have tried all the troubleshooting for itunes for Windows 7 64-bit. Do I need to system reboot my computer than try to download it again?

I'm having a very similar issue, paired with iTunes not being able to get online.
iTunes shows up in processes and then hangs at 17,000 K or so -- sometimes it will start up, but that (if it occurs) is a delay of literal hours.
Pretty meticulously went through all the 'cannot connect' trouble shooting, and have uninstalled, restarted, and then reinstalled every piece of apple software; issue is just as firm. Starting in safe mode or admin mode don't fix it; signing in as a different user doesn't fix it.

  • Photoshop CS4 will not launch after installing Yosemite.

Photoshop CS4 will not launch after installing Yosemite. All the other CS4 apps open. I upgraded Java. Genius Bar could not get it to launch.

Here's the fix I found, by way of an explanation...
Snow Leopard prompted me on my first startup with the following error:
"There is a conflict with the _______ font file. This font file contains a font name that conflicts with a system font required by Mac OS X to display onscreen text. You should move this font file to the Trash."
The fonts it said were conflicting: Helvetica, HelveticaNeue.dfont, Lucida Grande, and Monaco. I figured Snow Leopard probably wanted to replace these fonts with newer versions, and so I clicked "Move to Trash" on all four.
Apparently 10.6 trashed these fonts but didn't replace them. This was causing Photoshop to crash on load.
So I restored my ~/Library/Fonts folder from a backup made just before upgrading and this time after a reboot I said "Allow Conflict" on all four dialog boxes and launched Photoshop... everything is back to normal!
Not sure what kind of "conflict" it's referring to, but apparently moving these font files to the trash as OS X prompted me to do broke a number of apps. Should I report this as a bug?
    Thanks for the ideas!

  • Aperture (2.1.2) will not launch after 10.5.6 installed

Quite possibly this problem happened because of something else I did. However I just now noticed today that Aperture will not launch after I installed 10.5.6 last week. This is the first time I tried Aperture since I updated.
Help! This is VERY important to me as I do all of my photo ediing these days with Aperture. I have a couple of thosand photos waiting .
Is it possible to download a new copy of Aperture? Yes, I am a registered owner and first paid the full $300 for this app.
Any and all help most appreciated.

try going through the application maintenance steps. You mentioned that you ran repair permissions prior to installation, this needs to be run AFTER any application install. As it could be any number of things causing the issue I have listed in sequence some steps to take for trouble shooting/maintenance.
    1. Repair permissions on system drive and drive with application on it.
    2. Verify and repair the disk with the library on it. If on your system disk run verify to see if it needs repair.
    3. Remove the application preferences found here:
    system disk/users/users/library/preferences/com.apple.Aperture.plist
    •test application
    4. CMD+OPT when clicking on the Aperture icon to launch it and choose consistency check
    •test application
    5. CMD+OPT and choose rebuild library
    •test application
    6. Remove any installed plug-ins from following directories
    system disk/users/users/library/application support/aperture/plugins/
    system disk/library/application support/aperture/plugins/
    •test application
    7. Hold the Option key down and launch Aperture and see if you get the option to create new library or choose library, try both of these steps.

  • ITunes will not launch after upgrade--click, bounce bounce, nada

iTunes will not launch after upgrade--rebooted nothing--2 bounce icon
then shut down all and unplugged, restarted--no change, iTunes still will not launch after upgrade
    iTunes current version
    on imac w/10.6.8

    I have the same issue.
Allready uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it, but the same problem occurs.
Icon keeps bouncing, and all that's visible is the first menu-item in the top menu bar, named iTunes. Nothing is clickable though.
The iPhone Configuration Utility doesn't seem to work either, it crashes on uploading an app to my iPhone. I guess it's using some of iTunes' libs or something.
Does anyone know how to get iTunes working again? I'm getting pretty desperate over here...
    Thanks!

  • Why there is not an option to unable to 3G and use 2G on iPhone 4S ? It's awful! When will you fix that ?

Why there is not an option to unable the 3G and use 2G on iPhone 4S ? It's awful! When will you fix that ? What are we gonna do now? I cant believe Apple can do it, like the battery of iPhone 4S is amazing. Everyday I should charge my phone! It doesnt make sense...

YOu can't disable the camera - this feature came out with IOS 5.
You will have to set your passcode lock to immediately.  settings - general - passcode lock.

  • When will Apple fix the "Show my caller ID" glitch that effects service reception? IOS7 has done nothing if not made it worse

I have downloaded IOS7 specifically to try and solve this annoying glitch that disables the "Show my caller ID" and effects my service reception, I know it effects it as when I have no service I can guarantee that the "show my caller ID" selection is disabled, when I turn it on miraculously I have service once again.
Such a stupid little problem that surely is easily rectified.
    When will Apple fix this????

Thanks for that but unfortunately been there, got the T-shirt, they replaced the phone with a new one, and still happens. I believe from what I have read, it's a software glitch that quite a few people have had problems with.

  • FOURTH TIME: After your latest upgrade, all pages SLANT with Mac OS 6.0 -- WHEN WILL YOU FIX IT? Or even reply?

Upgraded to Mac OS 10.6 because you told me FireFox would no longer support 10.5, tho I had never had a problem.
OK until you upgraded to FireFox 18 -- then all pages SLANT. Impossible to use, and have had to switch to Safari.
Your forum shows MANY with the same issue, yet no response from Mozilla. Seems like it ain't our problem but yours -- so when will you fix it????

If you are updating, might as well go all the way to .8, as it includes important security and stability updates for your mac.
