When will adobe flash player become compatible with google nexus7 android tablet?

Also, I just found by your site that elearning is by Adobe. Why can't i access elearning on the nexus with Google Chrome? Why do I have to use Firefox?

Here's the official blog post on the state of Browser-based Flash Player on Android:
http://blogs.adobe.com/flashplayer/2012/06/flash-player-and-android-update.html
I don't think the folks that work on eLearning monitor the Flash Player forums.
You'll want to post that question over in the eLearning Suite forums: http://forums.adobe.com/community/elearning
Also, moving this over to the Using Flash Player forum, as it's not specific to the Flash Player 11.5 Beta.

  • THE ANSWER TO: WHAT VERSION ADOBE FLASH PLAYER IS COMPATIBLE WITH SEAMONKEY 2.2?

I HAVE SPENT 10.5 HOURS ALL NIGHT AND INTO THE DAY ON WHAT WOULD SEEM LIKE A SIMPLE QUESTION. I HAVE SEARCHED YOUR SITE, SEAMONKEY SITE, GOOGLE, ASK, YAHOO AND SOME OTHERS I JUST CAME ACROSS. MY QUESTION IS THIS: WHAT VERSION OF ADOBE FLASH PLAYER IS COMPATIBLE WITH SEAMONKEY 2.2? I MAY BE OVER SIMPLIFYING A QUESTION THAT HAS NO ANSWER, BUT AFTER THIS LAST TIME OF ASKING, I WILL GIVE UP. I SPENT 23 YEARS TEACHING ADVANCED COLLEGE LEVEL COMPUTERS AND ESP CADD AND CAD/CAM AND NOTHING IN ALL THAT TIME WAS AS EXASPERATING AS THIS IS.

    My Seamonkey version is 2.2

  • When will Adobe Flash  Player be available for my Windows Phone 7?

I have the new Samsung Focus SGH-i917 Windows Phone 7. When I visit news pages that require Adobe
flash player, I can't play the videos. When I try to download the player I get an error message that it is not supported .

If it's Android 4.0 there will be no further development of Flash Player. Android dropped all support for Flash last year, and Adobe isn't developing for it anymore as a result.
There  are alternatives to Flash for Android devices:
You can find info about "Dolphin" for Android at: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.mgeek.TunnyBrowser It seems to be the browser of choice to play Flash content on an Android device.
Also, check the Android forums to see what their "gurus" recommend.

My mac keeps asking for a password when I try to install adobe flash player. Even with the hint I'm not getting it and also tried uninstall and the same thing occurred.

It's referring to the MAC password that you have setup.

  • Is Flash Player fully compatible with Windows 7?

Is the latest version of Flash Player fully compatible with the 32bit release version of Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 8?
I am asking this because since I reinstalled Windows 7 32bit and Flash Player I am experiencing problems with Flash.
My action centre informs me that I have a problem with Flash Player and I should go to Adobe's website and address the problem.
I have uninstalled Flash and reinstalled Flash as Microsoft and Adobe advise, several times but I still get problems.
I uninstalled the 64bit version of Windows 7 because Flash was causing too many problems.
Since reinstalling the 32bit version I have had several reports of Flash Player not working properly, Skype reporting problems and IE8
using compatibility view when I view some web-pages with Flash in them.
When attempting to view Netto's webpages Flash fails to work and I am told to download the latest version of Flash again.
I do not remember this problem occuring with either previous versions of Flash or with Windows 7 RC.
Is anyone else using the Professional version of Windows 7 32bit experiencing the same or similar problems?

  • When will OS X Lion be compatible with Avid's Pro Tools 9, or any Pro Tools for that matter?

When will OS X Lion be compatible with Avid's Pro Tools 9, or any Pro Tools for that matter?

There's less money to be made from compatibility than there is from "forced upgrades."  Why would AVID be concerned with their older product working with the new OS when they can release another version for people to pay $250+ for?  Free bug-fix download vs. latest software upgrade?  You've got two companies with virtual monopolies on the pro audio market.  It's a win-win for them.
So what does that say to me about the handful that do not?  The incompatibility is a marketing decision, not a shortcoming.
    Am I close?

  • I love my Ipad..BUT when will adobe flash be available?

I love my IPad BUT when will adobe flash be available?
    Thank you

Since most of the mobile devices are being converted to Adobe Air instead of the native flash, finding a official release for Apple devices probably wont happen, the devices that have it now is starting to be a dieing breed.  Adobe has already reported considering discontinuing flash for mobile device.

  • Adobe Flash Player 10.1.92.8 for Android 2.2

I need help, I have the update to my Android to version 2.2 but when I try to download adobe flash player 10.1 I get the following message:
    Attention Droid Owners:
Adobe Flash Player 10.1 will be available for your phone late summer.  Please check back at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.  This site will redirect you to the Adobe Flash Player 10.1 download in the Android Market as soon as it is available for your device.
I was told it was already available, is it not?  Am I doing something wrong in order to get Adobe Digital Editions on my Android?

  • When will the Adobe Flash player become available on iPad / iPhone?

I know Apple wantto protect its own products like f.ex. QuickTime but it is apparent for all of us that the Adobe Flash technology has become a widely used and accepted standard.
Why can we never get an announcement from Apple when they expect to make f.ex. their iPad & iPhone compatible and let us use the Flash player?

The question can never be put too seldomly as it is still a bad secret why Apple "protect" their products from the "ugly" Adobe Flash player.
Some people in this forum claim that the cause is that Adobe has not managed to develop a satisfactory solution but that is not true.
On the other hand it seems that Apple is opening a door a litle. Now it is possible using the Adobe Flash Professional and Flash Builder to create application for the iOS products. The whole development process is supported and you do not need to use ONE SINGLE Apple tool.
Therefore I think it is a question of time until Apple accepts the Flash player on the iOS platforms.
As to the HTML 5 - this is no surprise to Adobe which have prepared for the step forward to HTML 5 for quite a while. The HTML 5 standard will set the stage for the future internet but it does not make Flash or iOS redundant.
This is about a fight on a very high business level and Apple will never tell all the reasons for their strategy as little as Adobe will.
History shows that there is only one loser in such a fight: the user.
Although we do not all agree with each other, let us keep a good tone in here.

  • Adobe Flash player doesn't support  the new android type devices such as my new Kindle Fire but i understand they are going to have an app out for these devices this year. Any idea on when that will be?

I understand Adobe Flash player will have out an app to download to the newer android devices such as Kindles that they stopped supporting a couple of years ago soon. Any idea when this will be? Thanks.

    Hello,
We don't have any plans for a new version of Flash Player for Android.  That said, some users have been able to get Flash Player working on the Kindle Fire by using third party browsers.
