When will Apple ship 5th gen 60 gig Ipod videos to stores

I've been wating since christmas checking BestBuy every day for the 60gig but all they have is the 30gig.
Should i just get the 30gig or wait for the 60gig?

i really need help--had unit 3 days and everything worked great until now--regardless of what selection chosen from menu screen, always goes back to song playing and will continue playing song after song--i tried to both reset and restore many times and still get the same results--just wants to start playing music wherever it left off
HELP

First step is to do a reset on the iPod. Slide the hold switch from OFF to ON back to OFF then immediately hold down BOTH the center and Menu buttons for a good 10-15 seconds or until it restarts with the Apple logo. If no logo, repeat it again or a third time to get it to go.
Now check and see if it still does that.
If so, you may need to do a Restore on it (done through iTunes).

5th Gen 60 gig ipod - turns off during song

i just got my ipod from on tuesday and everytime i try and listen to a song it turns off about half way through it sometimes even a few seconds into it, and i have tried the 5r's as well as installing the 1.2 update with no success has anyone else had this problem or could someone over some advice as to what i should do

How much text can be displayed at one time on a 5th gen 60 gig ipod

I am going on a trip soon and have 2 text files that i am going to put in the Notes section on my ipod. Before editing those files are 64k and around 250k.
Which ones will fit? And what is the max size the ipod can bring up at one time?

Looking for shelf system that will work with 5th gen 8g Nano?

I'm looking for a shelf stereo system with integrated iPod dock that will work with my 5th gen 8 gig Nano that I received as a gift. I've been researching this and have a found a few candidates such as the JVC UX-GN8 or UX-LP5, or the SONY CMT-BX20i. But... have been unable to confirm if they work with this new 5th generation model. Anyone have one of those units, or something similar, that works? Also, is it true that the Apple Cradle ($49.99+cable) has some problems docking the 5th generation Nano in the sense that all the features are not accessible (audio, video, etc.)? Thanks for any and all responses.

If their websites do not specifically state that their product works with the *iPod Nano 5th Generation _with video,*_ its more likely their product is not compatible. You can try calling them if possible to confirm.

Apple Extreme (5th Gen) OR Motorola SBG6580

So here's where I could use some recommendations ...
I am in the process of purchasing my own modem (in that, TimeWarner is now charging for me to keep one of their supplied cable modems), so I am looking into various solutions.
OPTION 1:
I have been thinking of purchasing a new Motorola Modem (possibly the SB 6141,6121,or 6120), and then getting a new Apple Extreme (5th gen) to provide wireless for the house.
OPTION 2:
I have also seen that Motorola offers a combination modem/wireless router (Model SBG6580), that would provide 802. a/b/g/n wireless capability, without the need to add the Apple Extreme (5th Gen).
Would anyone have any experience with the Motorola SBG6580, using it hooked up to a newer iMac?
Any recommendations to either option 1 or 2 would be greatly appreciated.

I am form the Province of Leyte in the Philippines. I purchased an Apple TV 3rd Generation online in a store not of Apple. After days of good use the device could not detect wireless signals anymore. I contacted Apple support. They advised me to reset and restore the Apple TV. After doing the support teams suggestion nothing seemed to work. So I browsed Apple forums for solutions. I found costumers with the same experience as mine; they brought the defective device to an Apple Service Center and had a replecement. Calling the customer support the 2nd time they suggested me to visit a nearest Apple Service Center. So I contancted service Centers in Cebu and Manila, but these Service Centers do not cater Apple TV units. Calling costumer support the 3rd time I asked them to look for me a nearest Service Center Abroad and arranged a service center in Singapore for me. Unfortunately according to the customer service representative Apple Will not Shoulder Shipping fees to and from my location. I am about to ship the defective Apple TV thru DHL but the shiping charge was half the prive of the apple TV. If I will be shouldering the shipping from Singapore will cost me another half of the Apple TV price. Calling Apple the 3rd time to report this, the service representative said that they cannot help me any further. The best thing to do is to wait for Apple TV to be sold in the Apple resellers here in the Philippines and have it replace here in the Philippine. I still have the defective Apple TV 3rd Gen with.

Most of the YouTube video subtitles are inserted by flash. Unfortunately, ios OS products don't support flash. If you do want to play them with subtitle, maybe you can use a video converter to help you convert YouTube videos to Apple TV. The only thing you should make sure before the conversion is that the videos that you download is bearing the subtitle, then the converted files would have the substitles as well. Hope that would help.

I had a Palm the I used for work and travel it had a very nice application called DOCUMENTS TO GO. It allowed you to upload, view, and edit .doc, .xls, and .ppt files. this was very handy when traveling. Also, I could sync my palm with my iMac and work PC using bluetooth, took care of the file transfers as well. I would like to have the same capability on my iPhone. I bought it to replace all of my old stuff i need it to the same as my old stuff. I hope that Apple reads this and gets on the ball. Until then I still have to carry my Palm or thumb drive on trips.

I don't think it's about Aperture for Apple. Even though I'm sure Apple is expecting more than 4,000 customers for it's professional tool for Photographers (just like Canon sells more than 4,000 cameras for pros) the real opportunity is to win back market share for creative professionals as a whole while selling more 30" screens, G5 Duals and Quads, and all the other accessories.
From speaking with the Aperture product manager I'm clear about several points:
1. Apple doesn't really how far from the mark Aperture is -- and it will take them a while to accept how much more effort is needed.
2. They do realize that this is a 1.0 release and that following up quickly with updates that address people's real needs is important.
3. Apple has a real committment to this product and seeing it succeed.
Time will tell how well and how quickly apple will deliver. For now, I'd only buy Aperture if I got an amazing deal on it (i.e. someone selling it used cheaply!) otherwise I'm going to sit on the sidelines and wait a bit longer.
