When will firefox android have silverlight 5.0 support or plug-in?

firefox silverlight plug-in

That is up to Microsoft. Seeing as they have their own Phone ecosystem I don't expect Microsoft to make Silverlight available on Android.

I can't watch videos on many websites. It is very burdensome.
This problem make FF worse browser than others, all because of the stupid flash plugin -.-.
My question to MOZILLA is WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FINISH IT and release it? You're doing it for 5 months...

  • When will firefox be available for Sony ericsson Experia x10i

Hi, I have a Sony ericsson Experia x10i smartphone. I cannot instal firefox a a browser because it has toolittle RAM.
When will Firefox issue a browser for this phone?

I dont know about the plans Mozilla are making for that but i can surely tell you that you can try fixing your RAM issue, and somehow the Android app of Firefox will be able to run. It actually should run, unless you have all sorts of stuff already running on the phone. Good Luck!

  • Since the Version 20.0 update when starting firefox I have frequently got the error message "firefox is having trouble your windows and tabs" .

Since the version 20.0 update when starting firefox I have frequently got the error message "firefox is having trouble recovering your windows and tabs" This has not occurred with previous versions. If I click on the box "restore" and close firefox the problem reoccurs if I click close I lose the bookmark sidebar. I am so sick and tired of these frequent and buggy updates (every one since 17.0 have caused norton 360 to stop detecting tracking cookies for several weeks and or broken the norton toolbar) that I will uninstall firefox and switch to another browser if this does not change.

  • When will firefox be available for ipad mini

when will firefox be available for ipad mini

Apple requires all web browsers in ios to use it's web browser framework.  Apple has done most of the work for writing a web browser app.  That is why you see so many web browsers in ios.  Firefox doesn't use this framework on the Mac.  It would have to toss much of the firefox code and replace it with Apple's framework.
If you need a web browser with more features, try iCab.

  • When will Firefox 7 support websockets (like Safari and Chrome)?

A test query to websockets.org echo test gets the result: "...the browser doesn't have native support for WebSocket". The same test using Safari or Chrome on a Mac results in: "This browser supports WebSocket". Same problem whether on OS X 10.6 or 10.7. When will Firefox 7 catch up to Safari and Chrome?

In Firefox you need to use MozWebSocket.

  • When will firefox be coming out with the complete 5.0 version that is compatible with McAfee site advisor? As I understand it is beta now.

McAfee told me the current 5.0 version is a beta version, which is why Site advisor will not work with it. They also told me they are not updating site advisor anytime soon. So when will Firefox be updated to a complete and compatible version?

Due to security vulnerabilities, rolling back to Firefox 4.0.1 is not recommended. Firefox 3.6.18 would be the safer choice.
Here's the process to roll back:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
    Close Firefox 5.
You could install Firefox 3.6 over it (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.

  • When will Firefox increase their HTML5 support?

Like, since Firefox 11 the HTML5 support hasn't gone up a bit. Like it supports 345 points. As when even Opera and Safari bulldozed Firefox with a 376 and 385 pointer. Then Chrome FLATTENED Firefox, with a 437 points. And even Internet Explorer is chasing Firefox like a cat and a mouse, with 319 points and counting. Like WHEN, will Firefox actually put some more effort into building their HTML5 support?

There is always work going on on increasing our support of the HTML5 standard. For example, from Firefox 14.0.1 to Firefox 17 (still in development, the HTML5Test has gone from 345 to 383. The HTML5 standard is still evolving, and work is always being done. However, this isn't the best place to discuss this. [https://developer.mozilla.org/ https://developer.mozilla.org/] is the developer portal for Firefox and covers all the HTML5 work going on.

  • When will Apple TV have Netflix?

When will Apple TV have Netflix?
Just wondering if this something that might change sometime soon..
For the time being I just hook my Laptop to the TV, it would be nice to navigate Netflix with an interface like Front Row. Something like what can be done on the XBox 360

Larry, while netflix may have a different library to a certain extent, I don't believe its anymore extensive than the itms catalogue, and last time I checked it's quality was no better than that of itms, even though it may be in a different format.
The depth of Netflix's streaming catalog is better than ITMS. However, ITMS has many more current movies available to download/rent. They could complement each other in the manner I described. All I can watch from Netflix for $10/month or I could buy 2 old catalog movies from ITMS. Hmmm...let me think about that...
However, Netflix doesn't offer immediate download of new titles, which is where ITMS could make sales.

  • When will the stores have business workshops after the 5pm timeframe, for those that work can go to them?

When will apple stores have business/productivity workshops after the 5pm time weekdays for those that work?

You would need to talk to the store managers about that; we're just fellow users here. I would guess that they schedule workshops during the day when traffic is lighter so as to not impact and be impacted by evening retail traffice.
    Regards.

  • When will apple stop being stubborn and start supporting flesh video?

When will apple stop being stubborn and start supporting flesh video? I cannot fully use CNBC or Bloomber, for example, on IPAD. This is really not how to treat your customers

I believe Apple is all about innovation, simplicity & thinking of the box. Adobe Flash is an old technology - which over the years has not been developed or succeeded with a better offering from Adobe, leaving behind an application that is slow, buggy and a resource hog. When Apple creates technologies it thinks about future, which is the key to success. Like everyone you too should moved on. HTML 5 is the way to go.

I have an iMac desktop Operating System version 10.7.5.
Current Firefox Version 26 allows me to use AOL toolbar.
When I went to download / install updated Firefox version 27.1, message that appeared
said this version was incompatible with AOL toolbar.
Installation could only be complete if I disabled AOL toolbar which is NOT an option.
Please advise when this Firefox version 27.1 incompability issue will be fixed.
    Thanks in advance.

The message likely said it was the toolbar that was not compatible with Firefox 27.0.1. It is up to the Extension authors to make their Extension compatible with Firefox not the other way.
Unless the Extension is ties with a application with a binary like with Antivirus toolbars, the majority of Extensions that have been compatible since say Firefox 10.0 should still work for example.
Have you checked for updates for this Aol toolbar extension?
