When will Firefox issue a version that will be compatible with JAVA

Each time that there is a new version you can be sure that JAVA will be disabled. Why for god sake!

As far as I am aware (at least as long as vista was out), iTunes for windows has always stated as its system requirements:
+32-bit editions of Windows XP or Vista+
See here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
It is the first requirement listed.
And there are several major companies that do not offer 64 bit compatible software either.

  • What is the latest Java version that OATS is compatible with?

    Hi,
We currently have JAVA Version 6 Update 33 (build 1.6.0_33-b03) installed, while running OATS 12.1.0.1.361.
Upgrading JAVA to a later update causes OATS to fail when transitioning from Web to Forms.
Is there a solution to this, e.g. does OATS 12.2 take care of this issue?
    Rgds,
    B

    Hi B,
You don't have to install or upgrade java for OATS. OATS itself comes with jre packages. So don't install any updates.
If you install any updates, you will face issues with forms launch.

  • When will Firefox version 27.1 be compatible with aol toolbar used with my iMac OS version 10.7.5? I cannot install version Firefox 27.1 until fix is in place

I have an iMac desktop Operating System version 10.7.5.
Current Firefox Version 26 allows me to use AOL toolbar.
When I went to download / install updated Firefox version 27.1, message that appeared
said this version was incompatible with AOL toolbar.
Installation could only be complete if I disabled AOL toolbar which is NOT an option.
Please advise when this Firefox version 27.1 incompability issue will be fixed.
    Thanks in advance.

The message likely said it was the toolbar that was not compatible with Firefox 27.0.1. It is up to the Extension authors to make their Extension compatible with Firefox not the other way.
Unless the Extension is ties with a application with a binary like with Antivirus toolbars, the majority of Extensions that have been compatible since say Firefox 10.0 should still work for example.
Have you checked for updates for this Aol toolbar extension?

  • Constant message pop up when trying to back up a page with back arrow - "To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier."

To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier. Pop up message comes up when trying to use back arrow.

    You can't suppress that alert.
You get an alert about resending POST data if you go back to a page that was previously requested from the server by submitting form data via a POST form. The only way that Firefox can make sure to get the same page is by resending that POST form. Firefox doesn't know what that form data means, so Firefox asks for confirmation before resending that form data as such an action can cause you to repeat an action and buy another item or post a message another time.
The only way to prevent that pop-up is not to use the Back button, but to open links from a page that was requested from a server by sending a POST form in a new tab (window) with a middle-click or a Ctrl + left-click. Then you can close that tab or window to go back.

  • WHile playing a game why am i getting this.....To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier. [Resend][Cancel]......and what can i do to get it to quit?

I am playing a facebook game called Kingdom of Camelot. This come up when I refresh the game. To my knowledge no information is sent. I need it to stop interfering with my page when i refresh . I have deleted/uninstalled my extensions and plug ins and i am still getting the message.

Perhaps someone should report this to MarketWatch. There are ways for web developers to work around this issue (GET after POST, for example).
This is a longstanding issue. Examples:

In past discussions about this message, I have never seen an easy solution. Arguably it should be made a user preference: those who prefer to be warned about the risk that they will double-submit a transaction or instruction on a poorly designed site can have their warning, and those who prefer to take their chances can take their chances. Not sure whether that is on anyone's "to do" list.
Separate issue: I wasn't aware of any difference between 3.6.12 and 3.6.13, but both are riddled with security vulnerabilities so it's hard to recommend using either of them at this point.

I'm an avid eBay seller and shopper. Every time I move from one of my items back to my eBay main page I get this pop up "To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action that was performed earlier." How do I disable the message? Running current version of Firefox for windows and Vista.

Are you getting that anytime you visit a page? Or after you hit the 'refresh', 'back' or 'forward' button?
This error is not usually an error telling you that anything is broken, it's warning you that you are re-doing something you have already done. The page that you are trying to re-access, or refresh was a page that was doing something. Maybe you told the page to search for something, or you were filling out a form, or perhaps doing something like adding something to a shopping cart. Firefox warns you in case it's something you really don't want to do again; for example, accidentally buying a second toaster, or re-sending a comment form.
If you only were searching or navigating around a page, it's generally ok to press the 'Resend' button.
This safety feature is not unique to firefox, I can't offhand think of a browser that doesn't have it (though the wording may vary).
However, if you are getting it constantly, every page you visit, on every website, all the time, then it's a bug.

  • How can I get a version that will allow me to download and install "Less Spam Please

I try to download and install "less spam please", but it sends a message saying not compatible with Firefox version 15.0.1. my system is the a HTC One Android. Is it possible to get a different version of Firefox, one that would be compatible with my HTC android?

Normally this would be done in Acrobat using the various form tools, or LiveCycle Designer which comes with Acrobat Pro. But there are some open source programs that will let you create interactive form fields, such as Scribus or Open Office (Writer). Note that you will not be able to save the resulting filled-in form with Adobe Reader since it won't be Reader-enabled, which is normally done with Acrobat. Some non-Adobe PDF viewers are able to save filled-in forms.

When playing my fb game KoC I need to refresh a lot and every time I do I get this message: To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier. How can I disable this message?

Just give us a means of opting out if we don't care about POST data; or opting out for certain web sites. We have an application that I use hundreds of times a day at work and as a result, I get that message hundreds of times. Opening new tabs doesn't help because I'd have to open numerous tabs, and then it takes time to figure out which tab is the "back" tab.

  • Is the HD angry birds the iPad version that will fill up the screen?

Is the HD angry birds the iPad version that will fill up the screen?

Yes, it will fill up the screen. You can still play the original angry birds on the iPad, and even zoom it to fill the screen. It'll just be a little pixelated is all. Not quite as crisp.
Also, you will start all over. If you were on level 36, you'll start from scratch.
Just about all iPhone games are playable on the iPad, they just may not look as nice when you zoom them up.

  • 11g, To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat

    Hi,
I've got a problem with ADF / Jdev 11g. When user tries to navigate to another page (using navigation panels and navigation cases), we gat firefox message:
"To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier.".
After that, FF tries to reload page indefinitely. Any ideas what's the problem?

    Hi!
From my experience, yoou propably have some error in code from which you retrieve data. On example, when I had a typo mistake in pageDef methodIterator binding the ejb session method (some how I messed the pageDef source code so the methodIterator def was wrong). Also, it may hapen if you have some HierTree bidning which binds the non-existing attribs and children. Most offten such "white page" errors without any messages in log are caused by poor error catching/reporting in ADFm - many errors are just catched but not reported in log.
I would first put some brakepoints in code from which you are getting your data, then recreate table bindings and all related bindings in pageDef.

  • To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat

When I right click on a page , select 'This Frame', then 'View Frame source' I get the following message:
To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier.
and when clicking 'Resend' it obviously attempts to reload the data.
For some reason this message never appeared until a couple of weeks ago. (Im using V 3.6.10)
Question: How can avoid sending the request back to the server?
I dont get any such message using IE 6.
I have seen that other users get the same message when refreshing the page which is not my case.
    Many thanks for any pointers....

Does that happen when you use the Back button? If so, don't use the Back button, right-click or click-hold that Back button and use the Back / Forward history menu that appears to load the previous page from that menu. That should avoid the appearance of that security warning message, which can't be turned off. If that is happening on web pages that don't involve financial transactions, that website really should be fixed so that security message doesn't appear.
