When will firefox let me add back my google tool bar which i lost when i last updated firefox

Hi TheJohnParr, for your Thunderbird (email client) issue, I suggest having a different question for that, and we could focus on your Firefox search engine issue in this thread.
You can review, disable, and usually remove extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Command+Shift+a
* Tools menu > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.

By the way, the address bar works a bit different from the search boxes (home page search box or toolbar search box). If you enter a single word without spaces in the address bar (e.g., hobbit or mozilla.org) then Firefox will first check with your service provider on whether it is a known server name. Sometimes these queries are hijacked by your service provider to show you search results. By comparing your search in the address bar and the search box, you can see whether this is the issue. -
Part of Purchase history missing and ios 5 will not let me add back to ipad
I have had major issues with lost items following upgrading my iphone 3gs and ipad 1 to ios5 last week. a senior apple advisor has been really good and i got most things back but there is a section of itunes purchased tv programmes refusing to go back onto the ipad, they are in itunes and play perfectly well. we have tried to force them back and just to add those ones and not the others but to no avail, he has told me to contact itunes and request a redownload at no cost as the file may be corrupt, but try as i may although they show in purchased on ipad history there seems to be a huge chunk of purchase history missing between december 2010 and april 2011! and guess where the download falls!! anyone know what to do about this as obviously i cannot report any problems!! one of the episodes was free on the 12 days of christmas promo last year but I purchased the other 3 to complete the season of dr who specials.

I want to add new songs to my ipod. When I set it up with itunes years ago I had a different computer that I no longer have. Now it will not let me add new songs to my ipod shuffle without erasing everything that is already on it. Help!!! Is there any way around this?
Yes, I was aware of this but the phrase "Any items imported from audio CDs or acquired from other sources will not copy from your device to the iTunes library." is what worries me. Will this eliminate my Notes, Calendar Events, etc or will it apply mostly just to the music?

I am having this problem. At first with the new iPhone 5, and then with the iPad 2. I am not sure why this is happening.
My gut feeling is this is an iO6 issue and here's why -
The problem mainly occurs with apps. I have about 150 apps, and when I plugged in the phone, iTunes went to sync all of them. The process would hang up after about 20 - 30 apps were loaded onto the phone. I could tell where about the process hung up because the apps on the phone showed up as "waiting".
Then on the iPad 2 I plugged in to sync and saw there was a huge "Other" component in my storage. It required me to restore the iPad 2 from backup. With this restore the same issues occurred - putting the apps back on the iPad would hang up. The videos on the iPad also got stuck - maybe after about 10 hours of videos transfered iTunes crashed.
My solution has been to soft reset the device, restart Windows, and continue the process until it's complete. This is remarkably inefficient and time-intensive but everything works with patience.
I have been wondering if others have had these same problems. -
I have the iPhone 4. I recently switched from PC to IMac. I am trying to sync my iPhone, but iTunes will not let me add or remove anything. Do I need to change a setting since I changed computers? I try to add songs from my music into my phone section and it will not go... Plus the playlists on my phone are not updated on my iTunes phone on my computer. Its like it never updated. What am I doing wrong??
Iphone will sync with one computer at a time.
When you sync to another it will delete the current content.
Make sure you have copied everything from your old computer to your new one first. -
In the future time lets say a month will apple let us go back to ios 6?
A question to apple HQ. Do you want your apple customers to be happy and not disapointed with the new updates. Or maybe they just want their old version that they liked back on there iphone. If you like to keep loyal and satisfide customers would you make them happy?
Out of all the people i know, only about one third of them actually like the newest update (ios7)
I am not making a biased report based on my opinions. i am simply trying to provoke apple to let us download and restore our iphones to the version we previously had, and if you like ios7 so be it keep it.
If apple would let their customers choose between the new updates and the old, A lot of people would be satisfide and they would want to stick with apple. and when a new update come out you can choose to upgrade or downgrade. Isnt it our freedom to choose the update we want? yes I chose to update, and maybe i dont like it, but will apple let their customers, like me, choose what they want to be happy? As to the cache files and rendered previews, you do not need to keep them. Premiere will regenerate them as needed. Because re-conforming the audio and re-rendering the sequence takes time, you probably want to keep those files around for the current project--unless, of course, you have reason to think that the cache or render files are causing problems.
To keep things clean and get the attention of more people, it would probably be best to start a new thread for the other issues. -

Download them to iTunes abd then sync the apps. Make an appointment with Apple and see what the problem is. -

Pending this update, you can go back to Firefox 4.0, their add-ons work in that version. You can get Firefox 4.0 from http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/4.0/win32/ - you need to select the folder for your language, you can then download and run the Firefox 4 setup file to install it.
If you do install Firefox 4.0 temporarily turn off automatic updates until Symantec update their add-ons. To do that in the Firefox options window, go to the Advanced panel, and then the Update tab and de-select the option to automatically check for updates to Firefox. -

My OS is Vista Business and I'm using Firefox version 8. I'm using the Google Tool Bar and have an icon for Bookmarks but when I click it a message pops up "Sign in to access your Google bookmarks. I sign in but still can't access my bookmarks.
The Google Toolbar isn't compatible with versions of Firefox beyond Firefox 4. If you are overriding extension compatibility to get to be enabled in Firefox 8, that isn't going to work since Google changed the logon URLs a couple of months ago; that broke the Google Toolbar even further.
