When will Google Chrome's internal Flash Player be upgraded to 11.4.402.287?

Hello.  I've been looking around for an answer to this, but I haven't been able to find one as of yet.  Basically I'm trying to find out when Chrome's internal Flash Player will be upgraded to 11.4.402.287.  In its current version, the internal Flash Player is crashing on lines of the following form:
    Video.attachCamera(cam);
This is insane.  11.4.402.265 and 11.4.402.287 seem to work just fine, but Chrome isn't using them internally just yet.  We don't want to tell our customers to disable that instance a point Chrome to another Flash Player instance, so we're trying to get a feel for when 11.4.402.287 or something is gonna be pushed out for Chrome's internal version.
Thanks!

Hi,
Could you please create a bug for the same with all details?
The following link has information on adding a bug to Adobe Bugbase: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/report-flash-player-crash.html

  • Google Chrome and adobe flash player

    Hi,
I'm having an issue with adobe flash player well when I downloaded google chrome it came with the html 5 player. which I do not have any problems with. However when I go to run you tube videos with html 5 player it only allows me to play them out of 2 of my 4 speakers. I can only hear sound out of my front 2 so I got the plugin that disables the html 5 player and reverts back to the adobe flash player. I have the latest version of Adobe flash on my computer I deleted adobes caching files and different things Like that I only have 1 version of adobe flash when I go into the plugins section of google chrome. So I'm not really sure what to do I know that Internet explorer plays fine when running you tube videos or any online videos. I can hear sound out of all 4 speakers. So I have to assume it's something with Google chrome and Adobe flash player.
    Thanks Kinnyr90

This may be caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update.

  • I have Google Chrome, but my flash player isn't working, what should I do?

Whenever I try to download it, I am unable to as well.  I have the most up to date version of Flash Player because I have Chrome, but it simply isn't working.

On June 16, a new update for Adobe Flashplayer (add-on) appeared. The update could be installed (Win 7/64 SP1, IE 11.0.9600.17126), but made it impossible to watch websites requirering Flash - pages will be blank, videos will not play (blank). Current Flash player version seems to be 14.0.0.125.
When I start IE, even without any default initial webpage, messages pop up, saying something like "This webpage wants to run the following add-on: '<add-on name' from '<supplier>'. ..." There are a variety of <add-on names>, for instance 'Adobe Flashruntime' from 'Adobe Systems Incorporated', and 'MSXML 3.0 SP11' from 'Microsoft Corporation'. The MSXML 3.0 SP11 is something, that should not be enabled, as it indicates the webpage refers to an old version of the XML editor software, instead of using the latest available in the computer. Enabling any of these required add-ons will have no observable effect - the popups continue to appear and many webpages remain non-viewable.
I cannot find any way to restore a previous version as a temporary solution. Attempted downloading and installing Adobe Flash player from their site, but that only turned the situation worse, resulting in an unknown Internet search tool (speedial something) being installed, that shortcutted Google, rendering it non-usable. I had to deinstall Adobe flash player and that non-wanted search tool (which wasn't easy), before resetting IE (Internet Explorer). The Adobe flash problem did not go away. There is no easily available method to contact Adobe about this problem.
I also have an instance of Opera installed, which is not affected by this flash player problem, as is not Google Chrome. Google Chrome however, normally never used, prompts to install Mcafee and other software.
    Plausible demands on Adobe:
    1.  There should be an easy method to restore the previous version of the software, in case of a failure or when post-install problems occur.
    2.  Make it possible to report a problem. In installation cannot be regarded as successful, unless it also works properly as seen by the user. Like Microsoft, you can collect the necessary technical details to understand the possible cause of many problems, after an analysis.
    3.  The current way of opting-out additional software options is dubious and prone to mistakes. Instead, present all options in an array, where tick marks are to be used to select or deselect them. For instance, installing Mcafee or any other anti-virus software will seriously affect the functioning of existing firewall or anti-malware software application instances.
    4.  Make no automatic changes to browsers, without informing the user.
    5.  Do NOT remove downloaded updates from hard drive upon installation, at least never, when I choose to first download, then to install.

  • Google Chrome now has Flash Player 11.8.800.115

I think you may not have noticed, but when I upgraded Google Chrome, it seems that its Adobe Flash Player plug-in is now version 11.8.800.115.  Is this normal?

    I see.  Well, thank you.

  • When will Adobe finally make a Flash Player that works well on Mac OS X?

Every single Mac user in the world has issues with Adobe Flash Player. Whether it be crashing, slowness or temperature bursts of the computer, everyone has some issue. Flash for Windows is a well-developed plugin and works well, unlike Mac’s version. It has been years now and Adobe has done nothing. My question is, when will something be done. Is there a way to fix all these issues, Adobe, or is that to difficult for you? Thanks and post your thoughts.

Funny, my Imac is the only box here that does NOT have issues with it,
and Im running FF 3.5.4 and Flash 10,0,32,18
ALL windows boxen are broke, and all run the latest Flash and Firefox 3.5.4
They work on the flash test site fine, but NOT on Youtube, where I need
    them most.

  • When will there be an adobe flash player available to Windows Phone users?

I'm just wondering when there will be a flash player available to windows phone users.

No one here would be privi to Apple's plans on the matter. Submit your feedback to Apple requesting such a feature:

In the interim, there is a reminder program for pretty much every need and taste in the App Store.

  • Is there any way to repair (re-install) the internal flash player for IE10?

    Hi eveyone,
    In short;
been running Win 8 Pro 64-bit for a couple of days now. Decided it was time to try out some software so installed  a trial of Fix It Utilities Professional (bad decision).
Installed it, played around for a bit and after a while I came up with the brilliant idea of running a registry clean/fix (insert facepalm) and some overall clean-up, just curious
    to seel the results.
Being stupid and feeling lazy, cleaned everything and didn't create a backup. Everything seemed fine afterwards. Only the internal flash player for IE 10 dissapeared
from the Add-ons list, hence the plugin itself stopped working.I've tried everything I think I've tried all the help options I could find on the Adobe site, but nothing seems to work (un-install tool,
delete files and folders, IE's security settings back to default, checked ActiveX status and permissons, reset all data and settings for IE10 etc) Something must have been modified in the registry
but I'm just unable to locate the problem. I also installed the latest beta for Chrome and that's working like a charm, no problems at all and the performance is great.
So this is the error I receive:
I'm kinda stuck now; the installer won't let me installl it because IE has a built in plugin, but it's not working in IE. It's not even visible in the add-on menu.
I know it was a pretty stupid thing to do, but I still hope someone here knows what to do. I;m kinda running out of ideas/options (not going to edit the registry myself, because you can
bet your money this will only have a negative outcome
    thanks in advance!
    edit
the last thing I can think of is that OpenOffice and Windows Live Messenger also use flash, if i'm correct. E.g. in the OpenOffice folder there is a flash.dll file. Could these files be of real
    influence?
ill copy all the current flash files and keys/values, seems the only way to clear thing ups a bit

No, you can ask questions, but you'll have to wait until someone shows up who knows the answer.
I do not have Windows 8 / IE10, so I don't know anything about it.
You may have to wait until US daytime; maybe someone from the Adobe staff knows the answer.  But you may be better off asking in a IE10 forum.
Meanwhile check if you can find any relevant information in http://wwwimages.adobe.com/www.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/devnet/flashplayer/pdfs/flas h_player_windows8_admin_guide.pdf

  • When I try to download Adobe Flash Player, it says I need to quit out of Safari even when it's closed. How do I fix this?

When I try to download Adobe Flash Player, it says I need to quit out of Safari even when it's closed. How do I fix this?

Apologies for the slightly pedantic answer, but in application terms, "closed" and "quit" are two different things. An application such as Safari can have several windows open, and each of them can be closed using the red button in the corner.
However, even after all windows are closed, the application is still running until you specifically quit it. You can tell it's still running by the small light under its icon in the Dock. If you hold your cursor down on the icon for a few seconds, you should see a pop up menu with the "Quit" option - click that to quit it. Or, click the icon once (this may launch a new window), then either go to the Safari menu and click Quit, or click cmd-Q, to completely quit the app.

My mac keeps asking for a password when I try to install adobe flash player. Even with the hint I'm not getting it and also tried uninstall and the same thing occurred.

It's referring to the MAC password that you have setup.
A software prompts for a password only when there are restrictions set on the user account for unauthorised access to system files and folders.
