When will I be able to add Google and Yahoo tool bars to Firefox 5. These are well used toolbars which were available with Firefox 4, why have we lost them?

Why did we lose the ability to use Google and Yahoo toolbars when Firefox 5 was introduced.

same problem but with ff6 this time UNFORTUNATELY it updated automatically to ff6 from ff5 and it was a disaster now I cant use yahoo toolbar either I am switching everything to IE9. I dont know if its google, yahoo, or Mozilla who is at fault but its the consumer that ends up suffering.

• Are there any plans to add Measuring and Rotation tools into Adobe Reader for iPad. Currently using V11.2.0 (86952)

We need to provide our planning officers with io site access to plans via iPads. Whilst they can view the plans in .pdf format via Adobe Reader, they need to be able to rotate and measure whilst on site.

For Adobe Reader, the stated features are highly unlikely but you might want to fill the feature request form at: Adobe - Feature Request/Bug Report Form

• Do not want Yahoo tool bar, want google. get rid of Yahoo toolbar?

I have not been able to find how to get rid of "piece of garbage" Yahoo tool bar....

Normally, you can remove toolbars, which are a type of add-on known as an Extension, on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then you should find it listed on the right side. If there is no Remove button, then you usually need to find it in the Windows Control Panel, Uninstall a Program, and remove it there.
Success?
If you installed the "Yahoo edition" of Firefox by accident, you can switch to the regular release by downloading the installer from the following page and running it (no need to remove your existing setup):
https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
You might still need to clean up a few settings, but let us know how you do.

• Sir, Google and yahoo and some other websites are not viewing correctly. Texts are not showing in englsih

Sir,
some websites are not opening correctly like Google and yahoo. please help

Did you create a new profile for that 4.0 beta version?
Do you still have the regular Firefox 3.6.8 version installed?
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems
See [[Basic Troubleshooting#Make_a_new_profile|Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile]]
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins"
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox

• No longer able to add bookmarks on Yahoo Toolbar, Error message: "Exc in ev handl: TypeError: this.oRoot.enable is not a function" started when I updated to Firefox 6.0

Since updating to Firefox 6.0 I am no longer able to add bookmarks on Yahoo Toolbarl. I receive the following Java Error message: "Exc in ev handl: TypeError: this.oRoot.enable is not a function." When I hit the OK button in the error message it opens up "Add a Bookmark" and when I attempt to add the bookmark there I get this error message: "A problem occured while trying to save the bookmark. Please try again later."
Is this a comparability issue that you are not aware of? Below are the versions of Firefox and Yahoo Toolbar that I currently have installed:
Firefox: 6.0.02
Yahoo Toolbar: 2.4.0.20110815110908
Windows XP, Service Pack 3
I am having this issue on my laptop and desktop. Since I use both computers the Yahoo toolbar has been great for having my bookmarks available on both computers at the same time but no I don't have that feature. I'm told that Google's toolbar also doesn't work either.
Do you guys do any testing or Quality Assurance testing before releasing these versions?

Add-ons are the responsibility of their authors. McAfee does not even put their extension on http://addons.mozilla.org you had to install it from their site.
Disable "McAfee Site Advisor" extension which was just updated to 3.4.0, which probably took it out of the addons block list.
* "Ctrl+Shift+A" > find McAfee Site Advisor and use "Disable", and then restart Firefox.
* Do a Google Search no problem
* It seems that if you re-enable Site Advisor again, and restart Firefox you are okay. At least you know where to look if you get the error again or Google searches slow down.

• I heard the iOS 6 will not be available on the iPad 1 , will I be able to keep Google maps?

I heard ios 6 will not be available on iPad 1 ,will I be able to keep Google maps ?

Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: The Maps application on iOS5 is, as I understand it, a custom front end for Google Maps that was created by Apple. It should continue to function indefinitely, so long as something does not change on the Google side that would prevent it from accessing their servers. Although I qualified the answer, it doesn't seem likely that Google would do such a thing.

• When will FCPX be able to import Panasonic FZ-150 1080p/60 video?

When will FCPX be able to import Panasonic FZ-150 1080p/60 video?
The only format supported now is interlaced 1080i/30.
Are there any third-party options of getting 1080p/60 into FCPX now?

Thank you Tom and Hugh. Yes it's a AVCHD DSLR.
If I could ask one more question.
What would pros and cons be between ClipWrap and the free converters?
Obviously, for me the most important would be the resulting image quality.

• When will LR be able to read Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II Raw files?

When will LR be able to read Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II Raw files?

It has been added to Camera Raw 8.8 and DNG converter 8.8. So I suspect it will probably be added to the next release of Lightroom, whenever that might be. In the meantime, you can download DNG converter 8.8 and create DNG copies of your raw files that you can use in Lightroom now. No one knows when the next release of Lightroom will be. A lot of users anticipate that it will be soon, but there is nothing from Adobe giving any hint of a release date.

• When will we be able to read NEF files from a NIKON 5200?

Just got a Nikon D5200. Photoshop and Bridge cannot read NEF files from this camera. It worked fine with my D3100 camera. When will we be able to read NEF files from a NIKON 5200?

Welcome to the forum!
As often, we cannot give a simple answer without more informations: what version of Photoshop and Bridge are you talking about?
The rule of thumb is to update Camera Raw to the latests version compatible with Photoshop, and if it does not work, to download the last version of the DNG converter and use it on the files to convert them to DNG that can be opened in the older versions of Camera Raw and other raw converters.
Normally, to update go to Help>Updates...
According to http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.htmlhe first version of Camera Raw that can open the NEF from the 5200 is Camera Raw 7.3, that works with Photoshop CS6. If you version of Photoshop is older, you'll need to use the DNG converter 7.4:
(but, since you don't state what operating system you are using, here are the links for both versions:

Mac: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=106&platform=Macintosh )

• When will Adobe be able to use Canon SRAW?

I just installed Camera Raw 4.2 but it still does not open Canon Mark III SRAW files. When will Adobe be able to open these files?
Please respond Adobe staff.

I'd really like to know the reason why sRaw isn't supported as well.. as I've been expecting Adobe to get it working. If they can't for some reason, I'd settle for an explanation, but the rest of us are holding our breath waiting for this to be supported.
I was on my way to posting this question myself today, but found I'm not the only one. If it can't be done, or the developers just don't want to support it for one reason or another, just tell us! I'll move on and except it.. but SOME response to the user community would really be appreciated.
I know this is the user-to-user forum, but there doesn't appear to be a user-to-developer forum for camera raw.. so I'm left whining to you folks.. :/
