When will i be Connected to street cabinet.

I have recently moved to a new housing development in telford. For a month now Openreach has not connected the cables, from the estate to the street cabinet. Until this is done I cannot book an engineer, from BT to connect the exposed cables, at the front of my house, to my master socket. I have now been informed that I may now have to wait a further month. BT says that the work has been sub contracted from openreach  to Carillion and they are waiting on ducting parts. I have tried to contact openreach directly but been rebuffed, they will not deal with members of the public direct, Carillion does not return my enqiuries. I have contacted bt complaints and have a exec level member of staff following it up. my question is what more can i do? how long does it take to get a few pieces of duct.

    Creative Cloud Connection is the missing link.
    Adobe you have dropped the ball (although I truly hope only for a short while), and frankly I am astounded. Never in my over 20 years of using your products has there been a mistake as big as this one (in my opinion and only with the products I have been using). I'll even cut you some slack on the first two versions of CS.
    You give us 20GB of space for files. Great. Ican can drag and drop files to the site. Awesome. I can create as many folders for organization as I want. Wonderful. But, I can’t drag and drop from CC to my desktop - when I do I only get a jpg image of the icon on my desktop. That’s a “drag”. In order to actually share a file with another party, I have to make your image public and email a link to that party. Annoying. This is only good for collaboration with others on one design at a time, but in the real world there are usually at least half a dozen projects happening at one time with tight deadlines. Comments can be added to aid in the progress of a project, but that’s about it so far. And, I cannot download more than one file at a time right now. So much for file sharing and enhancing work flow. At this point, I can’t even share your CC workspace with another person, like I can with Dropbox. Sigh.
    Adobe you have been promising the Creative Cloud Connection – desktop access to Creative Cloud files – since May. I’m in despair. Why is it not available yet, Adobe, why? You have said that it's coming soon since May - it's August Adobe - what is going on?????????

    They've prematurely set some of the expectations of the Cloud features too high with the marketing copy.

    If they hadn't mentioned Cloud Connection in April but simply delivered it in Q3 or Q4, they would be heroes.

  • When will my street cabinet be upgraded for fibre ...

    Hi all,
    I live in central Cambridge, in the middle of a development of 340 or so, new flats and I believe we're all connected to the same street cabinet opposite our building. There's more development work going on to complete this summer on 400-500 more flats on the same street and will (presumably), be connected to the same street cabinet.
    Currently, we get around 3MB (max is 6MB), and I believe our local exchange has been upgraded to fibre optic. I checked our address for post code CB2 8DT and it seems there aren't any plans for fibre optic. However, the street next to ours CB2 8DP IS scheduled to get fibre optic between March - June 2013!
    Is there a way to check which street cabinet I'm connected to? And which street cabinet the other street is connected to?

    I live in wembley park very near to the stadium. I get sped of about 4-5mps down and 80kbps. My exchange has fttc but my cabinet isn't compatible with fttc. On the bt website it shows that there isnt any fibre/cabe services on my road. I know were my cabinet is and I'm sure it has a number 50 on it. It looks really old so I gues the might have to install a new fibre cabinet next to it. It also isn't that close to my house as it is on the the main road (wembley hill road). I just need to know when work will be done on my cabinet.

    The possibility factor is just in regards to your postcode, some postcodes have two cabinets attached to the postcode, so the possibility is the percentage of which cabinet your connected to, the higher the percentage the more likely you are connected to that cabinet, these are only estimates so take them with a pinch of salt.     Hi，
    So switch a LAN card fix this issue...seems a compatibility issue or maybe some packs or programs you installed recently cause this issue.
    Have you manually check the network adapter driver from the PC's manufacture website? sometimes, it will be a time delay before Microsoft push out the driver update.
    Check if issue exists in safemode with network, this mode will launch Windows with limited sets of files and drivers. 
    if you have a restore point, restore the pc to a previous point at which the pc is functioning fine.

    You should be able to copy them to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases and you can then sync them to the iPhone (or you could re-download them directly on the iPhone)

  • I have a IPhone 5 and Iphone 5s. Both are set up with the same account ID and running IOS 8.0.2. When the phones are connected to the same Wifi at home, both phones will ring when someone call in to one of the phone.  Anyway to solve this problem?

When the phones are connected to the same Wifi at home, both phones will ring when someone call in to one of the phone.  Hence you do not know exactly which line the caller called.  If you answered using the wrong phone, then anyone calling the other number will not get through.  Anyway to solve this problem?

    Thanks for the question. It sounds like your devices are set up to use continuity together. Specifically, it sounds like you are signed into the same Apple ID in FaceTime, and have iPhone Cellular Calls enabled. To resolve your issue, simply disable this setting:
    Connect your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch using Continuity

    Turn off iPhone cellular calls
    To turn off iPhone Cellular Calls on a device, go to Settings > FaceTime and turn off iPhone Cellular Calls.

    yeah tried all that. the only thing that i havent tried is to delete itunes completely and restart. its the same with the ipad. i havent done a master reset. i just think it has to be something rather simple as it acknowledges that i have plugged in the ipad as it makes the noise it just come up usb not recognized. it shows up as an unknown device that doestn have  any drivers
    its driving me round the bend at the minute

The ipod is initially connected to my computer, I can see it when I look on devices in my computer. However, when it finishes syncing it is no longer detected to my computer. I cannot transfer any of my songs to my new laptop because of this. I have tried to reinstall itunes, reset my ipod and use a different port. None of these things worked. Any ideas?

    By calling iPod tech support while you are under warranty.  You also have 14 days to return it w/no questions asked for a replacement or your $$$ back.
