When will the 7th generation of the Nano be available? I mean available to buy in the store?! I CANNOT WAIT!

Nobody has an exact date. All we know is that it will be some time this October. We'll just have to keep waiting.

I was recently reading some reviews online and read that Apple has launched it's 7th generation of it's ipod nano; however, when I do a search for it to purchase all I get is the 6th generation nano. Has Apple launched it's 7th generation nano yet? If so, where can I buy one?

But thats ridiculous, isnt it? Even its gonna have a camera, they would dril holes on the backside of the ipods throught the clip and that is wasting of aluminium too. It's also useless, because the size of the iPod is too small and it looks stupid.
If you really wanna make pictures and shoot videos on an iPod then i recommend the iPod Touch or search on the web for an iPod Nano 5G

As Mr. Tim Cook said once, iPods are a declained business. I guess no more iPods will be released and the actual ones are suppose to die like they are.

Just recieved a brand new replacement ipod nano 7th generation and when plugged in to computer it is not registering on computer or with itunes, I have tried resetting ipod. I have uninstalled itunes and reinstalled itunes. I have tried various cables and know they are compatible for charging the ipod, what else could it be?

In the worst case, it's still under warranty (all 7th gen nanos are still under one year from purchase).
So, you disconnect it from power, and it almost immediately goes dead? You can try a Restore... but it doesn't sound like the type of problem a Restore will fix.
You should probably have it looked by Apple Tech Support. If there's an Apple Store nearby, you can take it to the store's Genius Bar. To avoid waiting, you can make a reservation at the store's web page

My Ipod nano 7th generation will not sync, I have updated itunes very recently. Everytime I try to sync anything, playlists, music, podcasts, or even photos from my computer, It does not sync. However before It syncs it tells me that I need to authorize my computer so that I can play purchased songs, so I log in with my apple ID and it says that the computer is now authorized but then when I press the sync button again the same message pops up over and over. Can anybody fix this?

When are they going to start selling cases for the ipod nano 7th generation

I searched the apple store and there are no armbands or cases for the new ipod nano 7th generation…whats ups! I want to protect my new ipod nano and have a fitness band to use it for working out.

This is also my gripe Lacygirl. The ones available on other sites have horrendous reviews. My biggest concern is, will the Nike Fitness work while using an armband? The manual suggests using it at your waist with Nike Fitness. Duh, what runner prefers that?

IPod Nano 7th Generation will not turn on

My 10 month old iPod Nano 7th Generation will not turn on - all of a sudden.
All songs on the device have disappeared.
Shows in iTunes - even shows as having a fully charged battery.
Holding Home Button and Sleep/Wake button down, even for a long time, doesn't help.
Have changed USB ports, from computer to AC powered USB charging station.

And the Radio app probably doesn't work either.
The headphone jack on the nano is very tight when new. Push the jack all the way in, the plastic on the headset jack should be flush with the body of the nano.

Get a flashlight and make sure there is no obstruction/dirt/debris in the Nano headphone jack. Be sure you plug the headphones all the way in, the plastic on the headset jack should be flush with the body of the Nano.

Computer doesn't recoginize iPod nano 7th Generation and it will not power on

Try:
- Try another cable. Some 5G iPods were shipped with Lightning cable that were either initially defective or failed after short use.
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
