When will lightroom support d750 raw files?

when will lightroom support d750 raw files?

No one who knows can say and no one who says knows.  I’d GUESS it’ll be before the end of November, around the time Canon releases the 7D Mark II which has already been announced by has a ship date sometime in November according to B&H.
While you’re waiting, you can download the DNG Converter 8.7 RC from Adobe Labs, and convert your NEFs to DNGs and import those DNGs into LR.  The DNGC is in the CS6 branch of the ACR 8.7 download, here:

When will Lightroom support Sigma DP1/2/3m ?

Contrary to popular belief, Adobe needs to buy a production camera just like everyone else. The camera makers are so afraid of competition that they - none of them - give away anything, to anyone, and certainly not in advance. Most of them are also so afraid of competition that they still refuse to support DNG, a universal and openly documented raw file format that could have been the industry standard today if it wasn't for this paranoia. Then you would have had instant Lightroom support for the camera fresh off the shelf.
So the answer is: it happens when the Lr team has had time to reverse-engineer and profile it. Probably next Lr release, but no one knows.
(I'm saving this reply for whenever the question "when will camera xyz be supported" comes up, which is about twice a day).

We'll know when it happens, Lucht - software companies don't make support promises in advance.

when will lightroom support tethered shooting with the NIKON D4S?

Okay so I should be asking Adobe direct, thanks.
I did find that Nikon released the developer software for the D4S back in february so just could'nt uderstand the delay especially as adobe never seems to be late taking my money each month.

  • When will LightRoom support the Panasonic DMC-GH4 camera?

When will LightRoom support the Panasonic DMC-GH4 camera?

Adobe rarely comments publically about future support; however, a new camera is usually supported in the next version of Adobe software.  LR comes out every 3 or 4 months and LR 5.4 was released April 7, with a beta a few weeks before then, I’d guess it won’t be too much longer, unless there is some special problem with GH4 support.
The betas are available on http://labs.adobe.com/ so that is the first place to periodically check.
With LR 5.4 there wasn’t a public beta (release candidate) due to the newly added Lightroom Mobile feature that Adobe wanted to keep secret until it was actually for sale.

  • When will Elements and Lightroom support the RAW files from the Olympus em5 Mark 2 camera?

Camera was launched in Feb 15. As far as I understand, neither product will open the RAW files for some months. When will that be, does anyone know?

Adobe Camera Raw gets updated three or four times per year in an orderly fashion.
Beyond that, Adobe does not comment on unreleased software.
It should not take over nine (9) months, but it could be as early as at the time of the next orderly release

  • When will the Nikon D810 raw files be able to import into lightroom please?

When will there be an update for Lightroom so I can use raw files from a Nikon D810?

The camera was just released for sale a week or so, ago, and the current LR 5.5 is older than that, so how would Adobe be able to support a camera that wasn't available, yet, unless they had a pre-release copy, several months in advance, in time for including in LR 5.5
Adobe Labs - http://labs.adobe.com has recently published a release candidate of the PS Plug-in ACR 8.6 RC that lists support for the D810.  There is a download for PS-CS6 and another for PS-CC/2014.
For Lightroom users, you can use the DNG Converter 8.6 RC available in the CS6 download set for ACR 8.6 RC.
Because this is pre-release software, keep in mind that something in the support for the D810 could change before final release, and thus your images might look slightly different.
There is one known issue with the D810 support in the ACR 8.5 RC release, and that is it doesn't know how to process the new 9 megapixel Small Raw format, but Adobe has said the final release, will.
I'd expect a final release within 4-6 weeks if it is the same as those in the past.

  • When will Lightroom enable importing RAF files from Fuji X100T?

Just got my new X100T but Lightroom 5.6 does not yet enable importing RAF files. When will this be available?

You might want to read this, Anne:
Why doesn’t my version of Photoshop or Lightroom support my camera?
    Especially this part:
"Finally, if your camera came out within the past 90 days, be patient, as you may need to wait for the new camera support. Adobe goes through a rigorous process of adding support for and testing of each new camera raw format. Adobe generally releases updates of the Adobe Camera Raw plug-in and Lightroom to provide new camera support about once a quarter, or about every 90 days. Feel free to drop us request or vote for specific camera support on our Feedback Site."
There's no secret about this situation - it's a Frequently Asked Question...

  • When will Adobe support Nikon NRW file format?

    Adobe guys and ladies,
Is there any information that you can add to the dialog shown below that will help me decide if the NRW format used by the Nikon P7000 P&S will be compatible with my >> 10,000 image Lightroom collection?
    thanks,

I now shoot topside and underwater (using an Ikelite housing) with a D300S. My work flow is to copy the nef files to Lightroom 3 (for Mac) as dng files for tweaking either in LR3 or occasionally in Photoshop. I'm presently considering a P&S such as the P7000 but I'm concerned that the proprietary nrw format will be a "deal killer". How do I convert nrw files to either raw, nef or dng but not tif? WK
    Response 09/15/2010 10:25 PM
HI Thanks for the question. As with any new model software to convert RAW images will have to be updated for newer models. The Microsoft WIC compatible NRW should easily be read and converted by your software once they update for the newer model. Of course for the best conversion we'd recommend using Nikon Capture NX2. Thanks -David

Hi, The issue of file incompatibility is of great concern for many potential P7000 buyers. Let me ask the question a bit differently: Can the NRW format used by the P7000 camera be read directly (or converted to NEF or DNG formats) by available Mac software such as Aperture, iPhoto, Adobe Lightroom 3 or Adobe Photoshop 5? thanks, WK
    Response 09/16/2010 08:35 AM
HI Thanks for the update. I'm sorry but you'd have to ask Adobe and Apple about their plans to support the P7000 images. I'd guess based on their support for other RAW format we've produced that they would but since it is their software they would be the ones who could answer. Sorry we can't help more. -David

Of course, Nikon does its best to obfuscate their file formats...
That's a load of CR@P - please cease this continued misinformation.
Even in the earliest days when Nikon encrypted their white balance, it was decryptable via the Nikon SDK (without having to use the rendering feature as well...). Its just that Adobe wasn't using the SDK because the Nikon formats are all based on tif and as such are easy enough for Adobe to deal with without resorting to the SDK that they hadn't bothered. At that time, Thomas Knoll made some off-hand remarks that started a huge wave of misinformation that has been propagated on the internet ever since. In my opinion, he owes Nikon and the photography community an official public apology.
Nikon's purpose in controlling access to the information in NEFs was aimed at quality control, so idiots like me didn't start futzing with their camera data via plugins and fly-by-night applications and smearing Nikon's good name to people who didn't know enough not to blame things on Nikon. In the beginning, Nikon required approval before releasing their SDK to third party vendors. Now, it is available immediately to anyone willing to fill out a form on their website (and it includes complete documentation). Until you, or anybody else claiming this that or the other thing about the accessibility of information in Nikon's camera files, downloads the SDK and plays with it, to see for yourself, you don't know what you are talking about.
The fact that there was a delay between the release of the P6000 and its support in CaptureNX does not prove anything except Nikon was eager to release the camera, and followed up with changes to the SDK and/or CaptureNX after the fact.
I apologize if the tone of this post seems stern, but in my opinion, its time for the misinformation to stop, and the huge body of erroneous information on the internet to begin to be dismantled.
Note: I am not a Nikon defender. I just don't like to see people being unfair to them.

  • When will Lightroom support my camera - Fujifilm X100T?

I recently purchased a Fujifilm advanced compact X100T.  That camera was offered starting in November 2014, but is not currently recognized when I teach it to my MacBook Pro (using OS-X Yosemite v10.10.2) and launch Lightroom (Version 5.7).  Can you tell me when the X100T is likely to be supported?

It isn't answered though. You're using a version of Lr that should support the camera, but - you say - doesn't.
So can you use it with Lr 5.7 or not? Other people using the forum might benefit from this thread too, remember.
Or when you wrote "teach" did you mean "tether"? Because Lr doesn't tether to Fuji cameras.

  • Nikon D750 raw files

When will Lightroom support raw files from the Nikon D750?

Must be one of the most frequently asked questions in the last few weeks. Many threads on the forum already. In short: next version will likely support the native raw. Any time now we will probably see it but nobody knows for sure outside of Adobe.
That said, you can do raw files from the D750 in Lightroom right now already since Adobe has released DNG converter ( Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw 8.7 Release Candidate | digital camera raw file support - Adobe Labs it's the second download) that supports D750 raw files. Just run your nef files through this and you'll get dng files that will work perfectly in Lightroom. There is no quality loss when doing this and the files will work like any raw file but you don't get all the camera matching profiles in Lightroom yet. That will only come when Lightroom fully supports the camera. At that point the dng files will get the camera matching profiles too.
