When will N95 8G work with Car Kit CK 20W?

My car has a CK 20W BLUETOOTH KIT but if I connect my N95 8G the volume on a call in inaudible and music will not work at all. Am told that they are not compatable but will be made so by Nokia soon - is this correct? Should I wait or rip out brand new CK 20W and get something compatable that plays music e.g. a Parrot sysytem

Image Capture in LIon is version 6.1 which is an update from the 6.0 in Snow Leopard. Contact the vendors and see when they will have updates compatible to Lion.

Iphone work with car kits?

I have a 2005 Range Rover which sucessfully pairs with the 3G. It shows as one of the audio sources on the phone. It sucessfully rings thru the car speaker, but once it answers the source stays on bluetooth option, but can only be heard thru the phone. When I have a second incoming call come in and answer with my phone, it then emits thru the car speakers. Is anybody else having this problem?

I have a similar issue. Have a 07 Range Rover Sport. Phone dials out ok from the car. It also pairs fine automatically. But 70-80% of the time when I receive a call and answer thru the steering button, the call connects but I can not hear the caller nor the caller me. No contacts sync up. Call history does not sync up either. Land Rover web site claims iphone 3g is fully compatible. Have an appt to update the bluetooth software in the car.

I agree with everyone. Just upgraded from a Note 3 to a Note 4, and was shocked to find that it states that Photoshop Touch is incompatible with this device.
With the power of the Note 4 (with its enhanced S Pen) it is like a pocket size Wacom Cintiq, so would have thought PS Touch would go hand in hand with the device.
It has been since May that the last update to PS Touch was released, so believe that regardless of this Note 4 issue, the app is due an upgrade.
I hope that the Note 4 issue is resolved quickly, although I do agree with munk33 that maybe the app is slowly going to disappear (like Adobe Ideas) with all the recent Mobile apps coming out from Adobe, (although only on iOS, another annoying issue, don't get me started), please prove me wrong that PS Touch is not going to disappear, and an official reply to the Note 4 issue.

From their web site Tom Tom actually offered a converter kit at one point however all it was a 3mm thick bit of plastic with a self adhesive tape backing!

Though you'd have to check for compatibility with individual models of Nokia car kit once they publish that information, not all Nokia devices are compatible with all Nokia car kits. If you are buying a new car kit or wanting to know it the N900 will work with a kit that you already have, best option if to keep your money in your pocket until Nokia publishes the info in the "accessories" pages of the web site.

The key to what you seem to want to do is to be able to get Apple's Time Capsule router to "join" the network that your Conceptronic router. I believe that works with some third-party routers, but I've never seen a list of those that work in such a configuration and I have no experience with Conceptronic equipment.
You might be better off with a Network-Attached Storage (NAS) device instead of a Time Capsule.

I am a novice at Mac so I read all I can. From what I understand the NEC monitors I bought require Display Port for their maximum performance. The GTX 680 only has DVI outputs. Difference from what I understand is larger bandwidth with the DP.
You said I have the 4000 for CUDA. I am not all that familiar with CUDA and when I do read about it I do not understand it.
A concern I have is, that if I connect the 2 high end NEC monitors via the 5770, using it's 2 Display Ports I would have nothing connected to the 4000. Is the 4000 doing anything with nothing connected? I read where in a PC system the 2 cards would interact but in a Mac system they do not.
Bottom line, as I see it, the 4000 will not be useful at all to me, since I want a dual monitor set-up.
So far the 5870 seems the best choice, higher band width than the 5770, and it has 2 Display Ports to optimize the NEC monitors.
I'm not sure how fine I am splitting hairs, nor do I know how important those hairs are. I am just trying to set up a really fast reliable system that will mainly be used for CS6 and LR4. Those NEC monitors are supposed to be top notch.

I must agree. It sure would be great to be able to charge my PB directly from the car auxiliary power port. Does anyone know why this is a problem? Does the charger need more than 12 volts to work? At MacWorld the other day I asked a guy working the Kensington booth why they don't have one and he said it was because the Magsafe connector is Apple proprietary and Apple won't allow them to license it.

Will iPhoto '09 work with Lion? Since I upgraded to Lion when I open a Facebook album in iPhoto I get the message "An error occurred with the publication of (album name)". The album was submitted successfully long ago. One of a few new quirks since the upgrade.

Just responded to this in another thread (note we used Captivate 7 so it might be a different error).
We found that when we created files with embedded swf files that existed ABOVE widgets in the timeline, when someone else tried to open our file it broke/we got the runtime error. The original person could still open it for a time, but eventually the cache would clear and they couldn't.
However, if we ensured swf files are BELOW widgets in the source files, it didn't break. In fact, if we found one that was breaking and got the author to move the swf file on the timeline, it would start working for others.

Will C4480 printer work with OSX 10.9.4

Hello. When I bought my iMac six years ago, I got a new C4480 printer which has sat in the loft, still in the box and unused until today when my "old faithful" bit the dust. The iMac is running OSX 10.9.4.
When I try to print, I get the messages "HP Supplies Tool cannot be opened because of a problem" and then "Photosmart cannot be opened because of a problem" ... and no printing.
I've checked Apple Menu > Software Update and there's no new software to download.
Will the C4480 work with OSX Mavericks or is it just too old?

Your Photosmart C4480 should still work on Mavericks. See the link below for all of the information you'll need to have it installed. I would suggest ensuring the printer will make copies to just test the hardware to make sure the printer is functioning properly.

Will my iHome work with the iPhone?

I have an iHome from the summer i think around 2 years ago. Both my ipod mini and my old black video ipod (not the classic, the video) work with it but I was wondering, will the iPhone?
Another thing, I have Logitech mm50 black iPod speakers that went with my video (until someone broke into my car and stole the ipod!!). Will my iPhone work with those? I know that the iPhone plays music w/o headphones but I like to blast music loud @ parties.
So, please let me know if the iHome and the speakers will work with iPhone, b/c i rly dont want to have to buy a new iHome or speakers!

Will Final Cut work with 13 (1TB) Firewire 800 drives daisy chained (78 feet) together? Has any one done this? If so were there any problems?

I did run into problems, had to start computer with only my pre-existing SATA and FireWire 800 drives (connected to the back of my Mac), then I made sure the 14 FireWire 800 drives were turned off, attached the FireWire 800 cable to the front of my Mac, turned on the drives from closest to furthest in the drive chain (6'cables between each drive) and all of the drives came up on the desktop.
When I opened the FCP project that had media associated with the 14 drives I got the spinning wheel of death. After rebooting and restarting the gang of 14 I thought I would try to open one of the drives on the desktop, again the spinning wheel of death. Will move to plan B - 9" cables, plan C is installing the drives into two drive towers.
