  • When will my Norton Toolbar and Identity Safe work with Firefox 6.0?

You keep sending messages to download the new 6.0. I started to do this as soon as it came out. It then told me that I would lose my Norton Toolbar which also includes Identity safe. This holds all of my passwords and information and is very important to me. I have given up several other add ons in the past, but I will not budge on this one. I will go to Opera or IE if I have to. You browser is suddenly becoming very unpopular. Let me know when it is safe to download the new version with my Norton Function. Otherwise, GOOD BYE ans GOOD RIDDANCE.

I have seen several hundred people with my problem. I googled my same question yesterday and it gave me the same instructions. I ran live update over and over and checked the summary of downloads. There was nothing about a Norton Toolbar Patch. I ran it until were no more live updates and I also checked to see if my version is up to date. Am I expected to just blindly install 6.0 and see if it has wiped out critical information? I know another rapid update is due very soon for Firefox. Guess I need to git rid of Norton, Firefox or both. I do not have weeks to work on this solution. Unlike the Norton people, I am not getting paid for my time. Tired of "Improved" inferior products that used to work just fine.

  • When will Norton toolbar work with ver.8 asI use identity safe for auto sign in

  • Can I use Norton toolbar and Identity Safe with Firefox ?

I currently use Chrome on my Windows 8.1 PC , and I am considering switching to Firefox following good reviews , but I would want to be sure I can use my Norton Identity Safe and toolbar .

Yes, Norton keeps their Firefox extensions up-to-date with the Firefox release schedule; the updates are usually available within hours (if not minutes) after Mozilla releases a new version of Firefox. Much, much better than other Security Suites that are currently available.
As already mentioned, all the user needs to do is to run a Norton Live Update after Firefox is updated, although sometimes the user may need to run the Live Update a few times to get all the updates to download and install.

  • My norton toolbar and identity safe are gone. How do I get them on firefox 4?

Can I go back to earlier version of Firefox, or will this problem be resolved. All my password are on identity safe and I don't want to lose them.

When I first went over to using Firefox4 the Norton toolbar was not compatible, presumably that is still the case. Unless Norton has updated it. Presumably the Norton Toolbar is compatible with other browsers, and you will be able to access the identity safe with another browser.
It would be worth checking with Norton, they may have updated the Norton toolbar by now.

  • Same old problem Norton Toolbar Extension does not work with the latest Firefox 5 .

When will norton have a update.

That Site Advisor add-on duplicates features that are built into Firefox. <br />
    http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/phishing-protection/
That said the Site Advisor 3.3.1 is blocklisted by Mozilla due to the Site Advisor extension being the #2 cause of crashing the Firefox 5.0 betas. McAfee was notified of the problem long before that extension was added to the blocklist. Now it is up to them to fix it. <br /> https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/
I have heard that SiteAdvisor 3.4 is now available, which should fix all FireFox 5.0 issues. It is available from siteadvisor.com . Not sure why McAfee isn't doing an automatic update for their users.

  • When will these issues with iOS 8.0.2 be fixed?

Admittedly, this problem has been going on since Apple released the core iOS 8 software, but it's glaring (worse) here. Let's go to the beginning.
I own an iPhone 4S 8gb and upon release of the core iOS 8 software, I installed it like a fool and I didn't know that a lot of problems came with it, so the next morning, my iPhone's internet (connected to a WiFi network) was shotty as sin and I really needed it at the time because of a Transit thing I was doing until recently. The features that came with the iOS 8 is impressive, but I also was shocked when I couldn't even listen to my music for a whole day (I fixed that when I hooked up and synced in iTunes), despite my library having the same number of songs before the update on the iPhone. Now, I've heard of these problems from a friend who apparently works for the Apple tech department days after I discovered them myself, so I waited for the next update in hopes that it'd fix all of the core iOS 8's problems, but... short and to the point, this update is even worse than the core software. Problems include, but not limited to:
Safari lags like crazy at times, especially when you're trying to type something. Also, Safari seems to not direct you to Google unless you searched for the topic again; I don't like doing that. I like typing in a research topic in Google's engine only once.
Siri is much worse than the 7.1.2 software; the assistant can't tell what you're saying 69% of the time. I'm also not pleased with holding the home button to speak to the assistant and continue holding it until you finish speaking to her/him.
Apps freeze and become unresponsive and in common cases, they crash in the middle of the night (a perfect example would be YouTube) while I'm sleeping (not 100% sure who's to blame for this, Apple or the app developers themselves).
(refer to the lagging Safari bullet) The keyboard lags on you badly and I'm not just talking about Safari, this problem is every where you need the keyboard in, including basic texting in iMessage.
The Music app apparently can't judge your selection at times, like, when you select a song from your library, it takes 3 hard pushes on the touchscreen to select it and sometimes, it randomly selects the next song under the one you want to listen to.
Did I mention the constant lag?
I'll probably find more problems as I scan though the iPhone tonight, but above are the main problems that I have with 8.0.2, not 8. I know what you're probably saying: "Why not just downgrade back to 7.1.2 where you didn't have barely any problems at all with your iPhone?" Well, apparently, Apple stopped signing the software when I tried to restore the iPhone in iTunes to that firmware, so I find it completely pointless to try to downgrade. My core question is "When will these issues with iOS 8.0.2 be fixed?" I know the iPhone 4S can work with the newest iOS, because, if it wasn't, iTunes wouldn't have notified me of the update. I was thinking of getting an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus June or July of next year, but if the software is still buggy at the time, I'll stick to my 4S until my contract ends at the end of 2015

Also, I've noticed that the 4S' battery life is horrible even if there's just music going on in the background. Common battery life for the iPhone is 3 hours (just having music and data active) and most of the time, I'd have to carry my USB charging cable with wall socket so I don't have to worry about it shutting down on the go and I know it's the software that's the problem because it wasn't like this prior to iOS 8.0.2 or even the core iOS 8. Common battery life for the iPhone on iOS 7.1.2 was atleast 7-9 hours on the same conditions as listed above.

when will the Siri with the Russian language?

All Apple's web states is that in 2012 Siri will support additional languages, including Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Italian, and Spanish. It makes no mention of Russian and therefore we cannot speculate as to when Russian will be included.

    please advise

No one knows - shouldn't be a problem, though, as you'll be able to get a free upgrade to ML using Apple's up-to-date program.
It was released last week - assume that machines made after that will ship with ML. I doubt that any of the Apple folks would know, save for those on the manufacturing floor.

  • Norton Toolbar 2011 Is not working with firefox 13.1

Hey, I installed Norton Internet Security 2012 on my one computer and the norton toolbar will not work any more I have all my logins in there and don't have backups of them. It says they are incompatible with Firefox 13.1. I also Installed a firefox update to 13.1 on my other computer that is running Norton Internet Security 2011 and now that toolbar is not compatible also. So if you could please help me thanks!

You would have to '''Enable''' it in Firefox '''Tools''' ('''Alt''' + '''T''') > '''Add-ons''' > '''Extensions'''. If the add-on hasn't been installed you would have to enable it in NIS first. The [https://www-secure.symantec.com/norton-support/jsp/product.jsp?ct=us&lg=en&product=home&pvid=f-home&version=current Norton support] would be helpful.

  • When will norton internet security have a toolbar for Firefox 23

  • How do i get my norton toolbar with firefox 21, it has all my user names and passwords. I have downloaded every update from Norton. Can I go back to 20?

automatic update disables norton toolbar. it has all usernames and passwords saved in it. Every time Firefox updates it is not compatible with Norton Toolbar. When will this patch be available. If not in the next day, how do i go back to firefox 20 which is compatible

The problem with Firefox updates is that before Comcast or Norton get their ducks in a row and get the Norton Toolbar working, there's another update from Firefox and we're back in the same boat.
Why can't these people work together with every update? I realize the browser is free, but if you want us to use it, it would be nice to get everything ready to work properly with the Norton Toolbar prior to updates. Firefox is a great tool, as is the Norton Toolbar, but tools are no good if we don't have the right ones.
