    Very true. I've written hundreds of posts on it on other forums and do it myself routinely. On these forums, however, we must add the disclaimer. Run any OS you like but know you may not get support from your carrier and may have to reinstall an old OS in order to get support.

    Unfortunately, Adobe has not provided a date for Cloud availability in South Africa, nor other countries not listed in the FAQ. No-one knows why.

    Any ideas when the iphone will be available in South Africa? My guess is that if Europe is 6 months away, it will be much longer before it gets to Africa. We don't have AT&T here. Will it be possible to buy a phone (in US or Europe when available) and have it networked unlocked?

    When Apple makes an official announcement - anything else provided here is rumor and speculation only.
    The iPhone is sold in the U.S. as carrier locked with AT&T Wireless only.
    Apple has not made an official announcement regarding which countries will be included and the cellular providers for the iPhone's European release but it doesn't appear that Apple will be selling the iPhone as unlocked in Europe either but nothing is official yet.

    FIOS has been expanding throughout the whole city for about 7 years now. Specifically in my area for the past 5. Within my one mile radius, for the past 4 years, they have been expanding. They have been expanding north south east and west of my address, and nothing still available. I can get FIOS literally, accross the street or up the street, not at my house. I have asked about 15 technicians. They say its coming. They have said that for 5 years. I have called the 1-800 number, they have submitted fast past tickets. I have spoken with the people who are laying the fiber for FIOS and they say they don't know when its coming to me. They just say its coming. I have even gotten one of those tags on my door that says the wait is over, FIOS will be here in a few weeks, still no FIOS. Where is FIOS?

    This forum is strictly for Verizon Wireless, you need to go to Verizon Residential for Fios questions.
    Regardless, you will not get a projected date until you are within a month, maybe 2, from it actually becoming a reality.
    This is not necessarily the fault of Verizon, though, as they need approval from all of the local governments which they impact and THOSE entities can work at a snail's pace.

    You need to be in a country to use its store, so unless you are in the US with a US billing address on your account then you can't buy from the US store - you can only use the South African store.     Yes we can buy from web, N95 is available in Turkey as grey market (imported without connection to Nokia Turkey). Yet, as Turkish customers we want to purchase N95 under official Nokia warranty, it is our right.
