Any idea on when OWB 10gR2 training will be available, and what it will cover?

When will JDev ADF training be available?

The JDev ADF toolset appears to be very powerful and the tutorials are helpful in getting started. The documentation is a useful reference. But for those of us who are new to this toolset, particularly when working in a very small group, some form of formal training is necessary in order to build a real application. What plans does Oracle have to make such training available? I hope there is something on the horizon.

Thanks Grant for the references. Yes, I'm a beginner, not a Java programmer, not a Forms developer, but have used Designer and I come from the database side. ADF for Forms developers is easier to understand than some of the Java centric documentation. And I have discovered the Oracle Magazine articles which appear useful. I haven't tried them out yet but will do so shortly and I noticed that you have links to the articles on the J2EE Development for Forms/Designer developers page (except possibly for the most recent ones). I've gone thru all of the relevant tutorials, demos and documentation. The Business Components are not a problem and ADF Faces seem OK; it's the task flows, navigation and binding that are most challenging. Thanks for pointing out these resources.

When will aperture be released? Ready to move on to another product if there won't be an upgrade.

i have been waiting for a new aperture, but my patience is wearing thin. especially with bugs popping up with aperture 3.

All just users here so no one can answer that.
If you feel the need to switch to something else you probably should. Waiting on a new release of any software can be a long wait especially if you are not satisfied with your current solution.

You intrigue me - I read in one of your earlier posts that you had bargained with Apple over the price of Final Cut Studio.
I always assumed that Apple was one of the few businesses on this planet that was not prepared to haggle with the likes of us - after all it keeps a tight rein on the prices retailers can charge.
If it is not a secret I would very much like to know how much can be discounted from software.

OWB 10gR2 and 11gR2 integrate which with oracle database versions

I request a clear definite reply as I need to suggest the client to upgrade their production databases. I did try searching on the oracle sites, but did not get any sure answer.
Question:
The client has databases on 8i, 9i & 10g. Will OWB 10gR2 support these data sources?
If not, either I will have to ask clients to upgrate 8i & 9i to oracle 10g or have them upgrade the same and also have them upgrade to OWB 11gR2.
So, please confirm support of database versions for both OWB 10gR2 & OWB 11gR2.

I already had the 'Release notes' link for both 10g and 11g which you provided.
The issue is when I launch the URL, I am taken to https://support.oracle.com/CSP/ui/flash.html.
Here I've to submit and register Sun Contract Number or Oracle Support Identifier. I don't have these details.
Isn't there a simple way to get the valid information on platform-specific requirements?
I mean this should be given easily on Oracle site.

Will OWB 9.0.3 work in oracle 10gR2

Hi,
Currently we are using OWB 9.0.3 and Oracle 9.2R2. We are planing to migrate to Oracle 10gR2 in a phased maner. As a first step we plan to migrate only the DB from 9.2 to 10g and keep using OWB 9.0.3 untill the DB is stabilised.
Will OWB 9.0.3 work with oracle 10g in design time and run time environment.?

With full understanding the current (as of Dec 2012) iTunes U policy allows for only:
"K-12 school districts, universities, and colleges in 26 countries can enroll in iTunes U to distribute courses and collections of education content that anyone can access."
When will iTunes U (or, something similar) be available for
Commercial Training purposes?!?!?!?
As an All-Apple educator/trainer/author/speaker...I know there are many, many, many of us who would put iTunes U-like resources to immediate use in a commerical-context (of course, assuming content access can be appropriately restricted to authorized users).
WOULD AN AUTHORITATIVE Apple representative please REPLY?
Time-is-of-the-Essence: Many trainers (including myself) are preparing 2013 materials...some of us want to use iTunes-U...we would gladly create valuable content on the platform...OR—we're going to have to go the Kindle-route...and make this year+ spanning election quite soon.

Please let us know when new videos will be posted?
I will need good videos for new people on my team.
In general, videos (that as of a few days ago were available through the "Training" link from the Creative Cloud) are old and out of date. They are still advertised in a link to the right as "New Tutorial Videos."
-All videos are for previous interface
Videos with entirely unusable information?
"Recovering Deleted Files in Creative Cloud"
"Selecting, Moving, and Deleting Files in Creative Cloud"
Videos that are mostly accurate, though interface remains different:
"Managing Individual Creative Files in Creative Cloud"
