When will PayPal be sending out our new EMV pin and chip enabled PayPal branded debit cards?

As of October 1st retailers will be looking for us to use only EMV enabled cards for purchases. When will we have our new cards?

This is a simple question. Why can't I get a simple answer? The only information says, Fall 2015. This law takes effect in two months. Is Paypal going to be liable for my Paypal here transactions until they provide correct technology? I doubt it, and I will have to find a different processor to use. I understand Square already has chip readers in beta.

The e-mails that I want to send just sit in my outbox.
I don't know what to do...

From what venues are you experiencing this failure -- home or cafes? In a few cases, the ISP will simply NOT allow the use of SMTPs other than the one they provide. In those cases you have no choice but to use the SMTP provided by your ISP as the Outgoing Server, even in your .mac account.
With that background, please review your problem and what you have tried. I tried to review your other posts, but I think you need to provide me a summary, as I have to run now.

I got this message "connection denied due to dictionary attack" when I tried to send out mail today. It was the first time I ever saw anything like this. I thought it was a problem with the mail server from my website, but no one else had the problem. After about 12 hours, it suddenly stopped...
Was I being hacked? Was someone trying to send out email/spam through A)my home machine or B) my website? And if so, how can I protect myself from it?

Well you second post was the correct question because I was going to say you got a second hand macbook pro, didn't change anything, and expected mail to work with your ISP. The mail settings were thus those of the previous owner. So you are correct to ask what your ISP's settings should be.
Unfortunately I can't answer that. You have to get that from your ISP. They proably have a web page for it.
You need to know:
Incoming mail server (pop)
Incoming mail server login name
Incoming mail server password
POP port
Does is require SSL?
Authentication for using POP server (probably password)
Outgoing mail server (SMTP)
Outgoing mail server login name (probably same as incoming)
Outgoing mail server password (probably same sas incoming)
SMTP port
Does is require SSL?

It is one of the items that Apple gets criticized at regular intervals. The MagSafe connector is proprietary and unlicensable, so the company has a lock-in on the power options. And as you have now found out, your hijinks trying to avoid buying an expensive new charger may have caused more damage and led to a total no-charge condition.
If lucky and no physical damage has occurred (there IS a fuse in there somewhere on the circuit boards), maybe resetting the SMC can restore charge functionality, provided there is still enough juice: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964

e.g. if currently logged into an account then log of it, then find a free app in the store, click on its free 'price', and you should then be able to create a new account during the 'buying' process and get 'none' as an option on the payments screen

As usual, it is impossible to find out things like this on the PP website but apparently they announced that they are coming out with one for the US soon. Check out http://www.businessnewsdaily.com/7682-paypal-here-emv.html I noticed that when you are logged out you can go to https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/credit-card-reader and voila! you can order one now... but it requires that you set up an another account. Of course, this doesn't seem to be available anywhere on the website when you are logged in. Doesn't Bezos ever hire people who think logically and systematically to implement this kind of stuff or does he only hire crazy guys like himself? His craziness is great for starting things but he needs better people to manage the implementations of his crazy ideas.

HT4757 When will Apple iPhoto/Aperture support the new Leica V-Lux 4 camera RAW format ?

I just bought a Leica Vlux-4 and found that the current verisons of Aperture and iPhoto do not reconize the RAW files like they do for earlier versions and all of the Canon & Nikon DSLR's. I see from the support doc that Apple supports the Vlux-1 and 2, so when will RAW support be added for the Vlux-4 ?
I dont want to move to Lightroom but it already supports the Vlux-4 camera !

it is all speculation, and we are not supposed to speculate here; Apple does not publish the reasons for missing raw support, and for the Vlux-4 it is early days yet. There may very well be a raw update including your camera soon.The only difference I see, is that the the Vlux-1 & 2 did not come with Lightroom included, only with PSE, and the support stopped, when Lightroom was included - the direct competition to Aperture.

You can pay in PayPal through mobile billing but only some mobile operators work currently. I'm just wondering when you can pay in PayPal through AT&T.
Firstly I contacted a certain website about this question. Then they told me to ask PayPal. AND THEN PayPal told me to ask AT&T so I created an account just for this!!

For everything I have looked up for ways to pay with paypal or when will AT&T get the option to pay with paypal, this is the same answer given over and over and over FOR THE PAST COUPLE OF YEARS!!! That is crazy and unacceptable! Just like the chat options to have a question answered, cause they know nothing and will just direct you to go to a store or call the next day and be put on hold forever!! Customer since 2001 and there is zero flexibility in your plans and in your willingness to be helpful, or even try to keep customers!
