When will RIM resolve this issue!

I have clients running into issues with the Desktop Manager app crashing or not responding after it processes the calendar sync. RIM has this documented in their knowledge-base document KB17701 but they still have not fixed the issue. Its been posted since December 2009! Get this fixed already!

When will Apple resolve burning issues?

Many pages on this board show issues with iTunes failing to burn CDs. Numerous makes and models and operating systems are involved. Error messages, failure to complete the burning process with no error, etc.
We can all run our diagnostics, change settings, update firmware, as many of us have done with no success.
Will the folks at Apple give us a fix?
This is obviously an inherent problem since most of us can burn CDs in other programs and formats.
My issue - iTunes just stops after initiating the process. It checks the playlist and then nothing.
This began two updates ago during the 7 series update I believe.
Settings are OK. HP has been contacted. Everthing is OK on my end.
Where are you Apple?

I was able to get my computer to run diagnostics on my CD drive. Oddly enough I opened the task manager window and ran diagnostics returning the following output:

If you think my topic seems a bit angry well...you're absolutely right!
When I connect my iPhone 3G it doesn't show up in iTunes but instead iTunes goes 'Not responding' for a couple of minutes before it resumes but still with no iPhone in the list. As far as I can tell this is a pure 64-bit problem, I had the problem when running Vista 64-bit and I have the problem now when running Windows 7 64-bit.
I realize MS and Windows and especially 64-bit versions of it might not be at the top of the list in this camp but like it or not...there are some people out there using 64-bit versions of Windows and the number will increase every day so to me it should be in Apple's interest to solve this problem - very sad all this considering how much I like the iPhone in every other aspect.
So please Apple...invest some of your resources and time fixing this now. I've tried contacting the place where I bought the iPhone (Telenor in Sweden) and I've tried to contact Apple myself but to no avail...

I don't have an iPhone and try to avoid using Apple-anything, including iTunes which even 9.02 is suppose to be Windows 7 64-bit.
Any possibility your motherboard, BIOS, USB ports or anything? or conflict is elsewhere?
I know I've seen some long threads about iPhone and 64-bit Windows 7, which would be better title, or post in iPhone forum...
However, you realize that there is no support for RC? and yet that seems left out but is what you are using. Try the Windows 7 64-bit retail would be anyone's first recommendation.

Hi,
I had a similar problem and found help for it. Go to the "Advanced" menu and select Extend features in Adobe Reader. That will enable rights which may resolve your problem. If that doesn't work, there is a really helpful guy in here, Robert Levine. You may want to ask him directly.

Is this a clean install or an upgrade? 20 GB, though greater than the minimum, is pretty minimal. How much memory do you have on the system? 2008 would try to create a page file of 1.5x physical memory, so if you are building on a large
memory system, you could be having an issue there.

Any one or a combo may help
Give your iPad a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and try again.
Try a different USB cord
Try a different USB port
Try rebooting your computer
Try closing/opening iTunes.
If you go through that and it doesn't work, try going into the control panel, add/remove programs. Uninstall iTunes, Apple Mobile Device Service, Apple Application Support. Then redownload and reinstall iTunes and try again

That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

My girlfriend had a similar issue because her new device was not updated to IOS7 when she turned it on, but her backup point was created using IOS7. Check to be sure the restore point was created and then factory reset the phone after you have updated to 7.

Try moving these files to the Trash one at a time and test (but don't empty yet.)

If doing this doesn't help, then navigate to this location and delete the cache (but not the enclosing folder.)

All are located in your home folder Library.
