When Will Samsung Verizon or who ever is really in charge of screwing up thousands and thousands of cell phones going to be fixed?
So if it is Samsung, Verizon or Google that is the reason behind the screwed up update that was full of bugs that just are creating havoc and destroying phones, then when are they going to fix it. I know another month like this and I will have to pay to cancel my contract because I can not successfully run a business using a phone that Verizon and Samsung screwed up. They seem to know this is an important issue and causing a PR nightmare for Verizon, but when will there be a fix? I need my phone. Pretty soon my (removed) garbage phone won't even be able to call 911 for help because I am sure the update fudged that up too. Why should I pay for a phone that does not work, I held up my end of the contract why can't Verizon hold up their end of the deal on a contract THEY wrote?

I also have questions about the Samsung Galaxy Note II. I stopped in the Verizon store & they couldn't give me much help, they had to make a call to find out the "how to's" I tried to watch videos on you tube, but that took way too much time. I know this phone is awsome, but I'm only using the basics, I don't want to click on things that are not free. I was told that NFL was a monthly charge, VZ navigator too.

tried marketplace download says not compatibleWhile I understand that you can find the leaked My Verizon App and you can find the leaked Skype (which by the way doesn't include the security fixes in the released Skype for Android) with just a little bit of searching, these applications should have been updated and released by now. Both have been out in "Leak" for for over a month now and have proven succesful in large scale testing. I think that it is unfortunate that Verizon has not released them. It really makes me wonder what they are waiting for. Unless the Gingerbread release is closer than we all think it is and they are waiting for that to push out all these application updates, it just doesn't make much sense. At least not to me.

How Do i create a list that will show in a dropdown box with the list being pulled from another tab and not the cell data format junk?
I currently run OS X 10.10.1
Now i have been trying to work on this for a while now and what i want to do should be simple but its apparently not.
Here is an example of what i want to happen.
I will have 2 tabs: Contact | Sales
Now Contacts will have the list of names and various information about a customer, While Sales will have one drop-down box for each Cell Row that will show the names of the person in tab contacts
for what i am wanting to do i cant use the data format pop-up menu because the list is edited everyday several times a day.

How can Apple claim the iPhone has a Super-High res screen when its not even HD? From what I understand, 1280x720 is basic high definiton, and the retina screen only goes up to 1136x640.
There's more to resolution than pixel count. Consider the pixel size on the iPhone screen in comparison to the pixel size on your forty inch HD TV.

Has anyone else had a problem with their nano sim slot bending snapping or breaking when they put their sim in!? I have had to order a replacement and only had the phone 5hours!

That makes less sense as the sim tray a fairly stiff metal and should be pulled straight out once released. You didn't answer the question about where is was bought. Is is a real iPhone? -

Other carriers (AT&T, Sprint) already have it, but Verizon is taking forever apparently.

Thanks!I recently bought an HTC One m8 from Verizon, and like many other customers the Extreme Power-saving Feature was one of my keys factors to deciding to buy. I was very disappointed to learn after the fact that Verizon had not included, and has no intention to include the feature in the future. (Mentioned in other threads in the forum). I've read the argument made that Verizon never advertised the feature and never said it would be included with their version of the phone, but they also never went out of the way to warn perspective buyers that the feature, which is part of the m8 phone on other carriers and marketed by HTC as a part of their phone wouldn't be included. When people are researching phones before they decide what to get they read what features the manufacturer(s) have designed and implemented in those phones, not search to find all the things the carrier may have stripped from the phone.
It's impractical and offensive to tell a customer that its his/her responsibility every time they buy a phone from them to dig deep into website forums and look for what they decided to remove from it that the manufacturer had built, and advertised to be in their phone. This is the type of thing that is bad PR for Verizon, and something that will make customers go to other carriers. I don't want to offend some of the nice Verizon employees who want to help their customers and simply don't have the power to correct the issue themselves, but its in Verizon's best interest to either fix their network to work with this feature, or find/hire someone else who will. Doing it soon before the issue escalates and news of Verizon's statement to do nothing to correct the issue for their HTC One m8 customers spreads like wildfire and burns them.
I hope someone at Verizon doesn't let the rest of the company go on ignoring the issue and steps up to find a way to enable Extreme Power Saving Mode on the Verizon Network. Right now the impression many people have is something along the lines of: now that you've bought a phone from us, and signed up for a contract with us we don't care what you want and think.
In the meantime it would be a good idea to enable the option in the phone with a popup message when enabled that reads something along the lines of: Verizon has concluded that in some cases Extreme Power Saving Mode can cause network issues. If you experience network issues please disable extreme power saving mode and return to one of the other power modes. Verizon will continue to research the issue, and will institute a fix if/when a solution is found. -

What is going to be done for us customers who have bought this phone? When is it going to get fixed?
This phone has had issues since day one for a lot of us. Many of us are outside the 14-day return period so many of us are up a creek when it comes to returning the phone for another phone. Including myself.
I don't want to sound like I'm complaining. The phone is a great phone, I love the featureset and I love the LTE network. Many of us wouldn't want to go back to a non-LTE phone including myself.
We know that Gingerbread is coming soon and that with it comes a promised fix for all these issues, including a fix for the dropping signal issue which has to be the biggest issue that all of us Droid Charge users are having. All we ask is when we can expect this to be released to us. A lot of the older phones are getting Gingerbread before this phone. Why? This phone is new, shouldn't we expect it to be the first phone on the block to get Gingerbread? It only makes sense to have this phone get Gingerbread before every other phone.
It is after all, Verizon's "flagship" phone. The one that Verizon is marketing the heck out of on television and the Internet with their "Rule the Air" commercials.
Some say that Gingerbread is being held up by Samsung because of issues with the new TouchWiz. Personally, I don't care about the new TouchWiz. Release the update without the new TouchWiz and get these immediate issues fixed then release a point-1 upgrade with the new TouchWiz when it's ready for release.Dear trparky,
I can understand your frustration, although I am one of the seeming lucky minority of Charge owners that have relatively few problems with the phone. I live in a 3G only area, but occasionally travel into 4G-NYC for meetings and have not experienced the switching/dropping problems that many others complain of. Based on your location, I am guessing you have 4G in your area, but can't take full advantage because of the switching/dropping problem.
I would not count too heavily on the next iteration of the OS to solve the problem. As far as I know, no one has definitively identified the source of the issue; it could be software, but it could also be the hardware in the phone, most possibly the radios or the antenna (remember the iPhone "death grip" problem?).
I hope Android 2.3.x is released soon and that it solves the problem. But I would not count on either of those things too much. -
Whenever I try to open YouTube, Firefox crashes on me. I uninstalled it and the re-installed it, thinking that would fix the problem, but it didn't.

When will it be possible to plug in a bass guitar for garageband on iPad and mac?
I've been wondering for some time now when it will be possible for me to plug in my bass guitar in to my macbook pro or my ipad and have garageband support bass guitar. Not everyone plays guitars and pianos. It'll be nice to have more instruments to play with.

I want to know if apple's iphone 5 will be out for 2012 summer, because I read something on internet that said that iPhone 5 will be coming for 2012. Is that real?...because it is, I'll wait for it instead of buying the 4s.
The release of each generation of iPhone will be roughly (or, no shorte than) an year. iPhone 4S is coming out this week, you're not going to see the next one before Q4 2012, no matter what it is called.
Wait as long as you want, for the iPhne 5 or 6 or whatever, more than likely the next model will be available in year 2012, but March and November are very different, the chances is you're not likely to see it until late 2012, and IMHHO, it is really nonsense to talk about "the next iPhone" while the latest one is not even available on the market yet.

I have noticed that my iphone 3GS,the app store crashes when trying to view "purchased" apps. I never had this problem until I updated to IO6. I still I have the problem with new update IO6.1. Its only in my main itunes account [email protected] that it crashes when trying to view the "purchased" apps. With my other itunes accounts I can see my purchased apps. I dont understand why this is happening, this is extremely frustrating! I have been using my main account ever since i bought my iphone 3GS over three years now and never had a problem. Please help. I know there are many other out there that have the same problem.Why isn't this problem fixed yet?????

I went to update my ipod touch and it said it may take an hour. so i left it plugged in over night. in the morning the ipod was frozen. it had the apple logo and the loading bar. i reset the ipod and it stays at the same screen. i just restored it, reset it again, and restart my computer, but everytime it turns on it stays on that screen with the logo and loading bar. how do i fix it?
Were all the apps bought under the same Apple ID? For example if a husband and wife share the same computer but have different apple ID's what he buys won't play on her iPad and vice versa. However if they shared the same Apple id for both devices then any compatible apps would transfer and work on both.
