When will Siri provide mapping capability in Canada. Apple overlooked us when they pitched Siri as a significant upgrades to 4s, but neglected to make it fully functional in Canada. Does anyone have an update on if/when this will be corrected?

Currently, location based functions for Siri are only available in the U.S. Apple has not yet announced when they will be available elsewhere. Keep in mind the Siri is still in beta.

    Siri is and remains a BETA.
    Until Apple makes an announcement or additional functionality is included with an iOS update when released, there is no way to know for certain. Anything you hear is rumor and speculation only until that time.

    No one here would know. All Apple has stated is that more languages will be added in 2012. So, you have until the end of the year to find out.

    As far as I know it's only been announced for the iPhone 4S so far - until if/when Apple announce that it will be available on other devices nobody on here know.

    Guess I could have been clearer.  What I am referring to is MAP-compatable (Message Access Profile) phone pairing for text messaging in newer vehicles.  Apple does not support this service, would make driving safer if they did.

    Well.. Me and one of my good friends both have iPod Touch 4th gen 32gb's and my friend read on the Technobuffalo website that IOS 5.1 was suppose to come with Siri for the iPod touch and probably the iPad and I updated my iPod 4th gen to IOS 5.1 and it still doesn't have Siri !
