When will U110 windows 7 drivers be complete ready?

It has been a month since U330 roll out it's windows 7 drivers (while U110 drivers remain more or less unofficial).
May i know that is it possible for the drivers be tested and post officially into the U110 drivers page? It would be good if we can play with it before Christmas comes.

Most of the drivers for vista are still usable from the cd provided. However, bluetooth may not work properly. webcam sometimes have problem with other software for no obvious reason. (actually very obvious with incompatible driver).
If you have problem with certain driver, can copy to harddisk, then set it to be compatible with windows xp sp3. it should be able to install and function properly.
If it still cant work, go get U330 drivers and try your luck.
Besides the above, the rest are working fine.
Then, when my x31 died, the change of motherboard took only 2 hours and 30 minutes from the time i pass the laptop to the lady at service counter till they called and told me the laptop was ready for collection.
I was surprised.
Now, two months has pass and no admin reply to this.
I am surprised.
U110 is not a mainstream product.
It targets at premium market i believe.
If the after sales service are only for mainstream model,
we understand it, and we will do the corresponding adjustment in our next purchase.
I am waiting for the official drivers, still.
But, not as loyal as before.
May be, i am waiting for my U110 to die as well.

I'm probably not the only one tired of creative acting like a bunch of snails, as far as i've read here in the forum! It's been a year almost since their latest driver release for the x-fi, right? I simply don't understand it!

Their inability to provide drivers for Windows 7, if the reason would be that Windows 7 is too narrow market they will bite their own ass, Windows 7 is growing very rapidly. And if a hardware provider cant provide drivers for Windows 7 they surely wont provide them in the future for the OS after Windows 7. So stay away from Creative, they are bad for you.

That's a cop out answer. I know it's not compatable, there's no driver! There's no excuse for not providing an updated driver for Windows 8. There is NOTHING about windows 8 that is so different from Windows 7 that Canon cannot easily delelop a driver for it. If I am forced to buy a new printer because you won't provide a driver for my ip 1500 it wont be a Canon.

I recntly updated to Windows 8.1 Single Language 64-bit on my HP ENVY 4 1103 TX.
after the update i am facing the following issues-
1) Wireless Button wont work properly (N0 Amber light).
2)AMD Graphics driver crashes randomy.
3)High battery consumption and fan speed.
I updated Hp support assistant for Windows 8.1 (at http://h10010.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-125683-1&cc=us&dlc=en&docna...)
but it can not find any driver updates for my ultrabook.
i am very much sure that the issues are due to a few un compitable drivers, what should i do?

I dought there will ever be a development environment like UDS/Forte 4GL. The only one that came close was SynerJ but that now is our of the picture because Sun decided not to support it. Forte 4 Java is almost there but lacks a lot of feature like partiton workshop to make it a good tool to use.

When will apple start providing drivers for new mononchrome laser printers?

I have been looking for a new monochrome laser printer to replace an old one. I looked at Brother, HP and Samsung laser printers. Every one I look at has drivers for 10.8. I have no need for airprint or a multifunction printer (I already have an excellent scanner and 2 inkjet color printers). Does anyone have any suggestions? I have to say this printer driver thing is getting a little old.

Apple doesn't provide the drivers. The printer vendors do.
My general rule is to always get a laser printer with Postscript support, which can almost always be printed to, even when the vendor abandons the printer. It costs more, but I get a much longer life from the printer.
Having said that, my Wife and I are using Mavericks and printing to our networked HP M1536dnf MFP (multi-function printer - print, scan, fax, copy). I do not know if the drivers were updated for any specific release of Mac OS X (they could have been, I just do not know), but I got the printer when I was running Snow Leopard (10.6) and I can still print and scan with it (I have not tried go FAX, but then again, I can do that manually from the printer itself, so I do not need to use the Mac unless I do not want to print the stuff to FAX first (which would be a benefit, if I needed to actually FAX).

Sony VAIO (VGN-NW130D) - Will Sony provided Windows 10 drivers for this model?

Hello Sony, I have a Sony VAIO (VGN-NW130D). I purchased it new in 2009. It had Windows Vista preinstalled and a bought a Windows 7 disc for my computer. If my computer meets Microsoft's requirements my PC manufacturer should provide the Windows 10 drivers. If Sony choose not to provided Windows 10 drivers for all their PC that are compatible with Windows 10, it will be really off putting and resulting in me never purchasing another Sony PC. It tarnishes a company's reputation when they do unfair things like this. This would just not be fair Sony. McAfee told me the current 5.0 version is a beta version, which is why Site advisor will not work with it. They also told me they are not updating site advisor anytime soon. So when will Firefox be updated to a complete and compatible version?

Due to security vulnerabilities, rolling back to Firefox 4.0.1 is not recommended. Firefox 3.6.18 would be the safer choice.
Here's the process to roll back:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
Close Firefox 5.
You could install Firefox 3.6 over it (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.

Hi JoeJoe as far as I know all notebooks which were shipped with the Win 7 and are part of the Win 8 Upgrade Assistant will get the Win 8 drivers via this Upgrade Assistant. All newer notebooks series which are already shipped with the Win 8 will be able to download the drivers manually
Furthermore other it seems that Win 8 drivers will be released in three different steps

Your Qosmio X300 is pretty old notebook model and I think it will not be supported for Win8.

How long did you wait for the download to run? The last time I downloaded the Windows support files for Boot Camp, it was going very slowly, so I swapped away to another task. Several minutes later I came back and it had moved a little, but not much, so I went on with other things. When I got back to it several hours later, the download had completed. Perhaps you just need to let it go overnight to perform the downloads...

When will LT1423P support latest displaylink drivers?

As of today if you want to use the LT1423P in wireless mode you have to stick with old displaylink drivers.In my testings 7.4 M4 is the most recent version supported, when drivers are now in version 7.7. Does anyone knows when will the software/firmware for the screen be updated to support more recent versions of displaylink drivers ?Recent versions brings performance/stability improvements, which is nice for everyone.More importantly, as Windows 10 is coming nearer, only recent version of displaylink drivers works on it, making the LT1423P completely unusable on Win 10 Technical Preview today. Any update coming from Lenovo?

Now Windows 10 is supported for the wired model. What about us wireless model owners? The wireless model plays nicely with Win 8.1 (if you follow Lenovo's instruction and install the latest 5G driver for the USB dongle) and I have get both touch and pen working smoothly in wireless mode (well, latency still exists, but very minor) Now that I've upgraded to Windows 10. Lenovo's software does not work on Windows 10. So I can only use the wireless model wired. Lenovo, please add Win10 support for the wireless model. I feel rather bad that now the wired model gets driver update but not the wireless model. At least give us a word.
