When you press space bar AE plays the wrong comp ?

I seem to have an issue with the spacebar in AE CC.
When I press the spacebar the current comp is not play, rather AE switches to another comp and plays that one instead.
This is an intermittent problem and the only way to fix it is to shutdown AE and reboot the software.
Any ideas ?

In addition to what others have said which should answer your actual question, spacebar is not the normal way to preview things in AE. You should probably go through these resources: Getting started with After Effects If you're doing something as fundamental as previewing in an unusual (and mostly wrong) way, I can only imagine how the resources linked there will help you avoid a lot of frustration in the future.

Pages 5.0.1 isnt showing a space when I press space. You know how it has a space when you type on the left, and the cursor moves over, not on the right UNTIL you type something after it, is there a way to fix this?

Right justification is intended to produce a block of text that appears to have a straight edge on the right. This is achieved by placing the last visible character in the line against the right margin. The way I think of it, invisible characters like spaces are allowed to hang over the margin; some typographers treat punctuation like periods and commas like spaces, hanging over the margin, because they create too large a whitespace at the end of a line.
If you Show Invisbles, the space will show up immediately (although Pages doesn't show it hanging over the margin), but it can't push the last visible character away from the margin.

Previous data in the field is not comming when we press space bar

Hi Experts,
I am faceing 1 issue in module pool programming.i have 10 input fields in a perticular screen,
when i am pressing Space Key in a perticular input field , for some fields the previous data what i field last time is comming,
but for some fields it's not comming there, i want it should be with every field.
Finally i would like to know how to get the previous data what i have entered last time has to come when i will press space key
in a input field of screen.

Have multiple fields the same "name", are some field name or value too long.

Itunes album name autocomplete when pressing space bar

Hey guys
Got an annoying problem here.
When im typing in the name of an album in get info, anytime i press the space bar when typing a name it autocompletes ANY album which starts in that way.
ie The Very Best. i type The then press space bar and it fills in the first name it finds.
Anyone else with this issue can help?

The current auto-complete behaviour when you press space is a bug. A workaround is to type say a leading X, then what you want to type, then remove the X.
Or if you hold down Shift as you Right-click > Get Info you get the old style Get Info dialog box which you may find easier to use until the bug gets fixed.

I cannot see the text while typing unless I press space bar or enter. This problem only happens on Premiere Pro CS6 and Final Draft 9.

The word just doesn't show up unless I press space bar or enter. This just happens on script window in final draft 9 and title window in Premiere Pro.

That card is under-powered for the hardware-accelerated Mercury Playback Engine. If you've tried to get it working with hardware MPE, then that's a likely cause of the crashing. Pr needs at least 1 GB of VRAM for hardware MPE. Stick to software MPE and things may improve.

Temporarily: Hold the Shift key while you press the volume controls.
OR
Permanently: Disable "Play feedback when volume is changed" in the Sound Effects tab of the Sound Control Panel.

Sound on my phone has gone so when someone calls me they can hear me but i cant hear them.The ticks cant be heard when you press the keyboard. I've checked the settings and they are ok. can still hear music thru headphones but not without. Any help pls.

I understand you are having issues with sound output on your iPhone 4S. For troubleshooting steps, the following article provides the best information:

1. Verify that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack, including headsets, headphones, or adapters.
2. Make sure the Ring/Silent switch is not switched to silent.
3. While on the Home screen, adjust the volume buttons. If you see the icon below, indicating that headphones are attached, there may be debris or an object lodged in the headset jack:
4. Check the headset jack. If there is an object lodged in the headset jack that is not easily removed, have the iPhone serviced to remove object.
5. For Original iPhone: If there is light debris, such as lint, in the headset jack, try connecting a pair of headphones to the headset jack and then remove the headphones. Repeat this several times to remove the debris.
6. If you have installed a protective film on the display, either ensure that the receiver is not covered or remove the film completely.
7. Check the receiver mesh (which is on the top front of the device, above the display). If it appears blocked, use a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush to carefully and gently brush away any debris.

How do you make it so that the ipod will play all the different artists featured in an album when you click that album to play? At the moment, each artist in the album is being separated and I can't play them together. For example, to play the Halo 2 Soundtrack, Hoobastank, Breaking Benjamin, Nile Rodgers, etc. are some of the artists featured. However, in the Albums category, they are each separate choices. I want to play them all together, but can't. Is there a way to do that?

It sounds like the album metadata is incorrect, or differs from song to song in iTunes. Albums with various artists will play properly assuming all the songs are tagged with the same identical album name, as well as the track number. For the Halo 2 Soundtrack, metadata should look like this:
Song: <Song Title>
Artist: <Song Artist>
Album: Halo 2, Vol. 1 (Original Soundtrack)
Genre: Soundtrack
I had a similar problem with my imported Cowboy Bebop albums and the mixture of artists/album names. Once I adjusted the metadata, all of them play in the correct order just by selecting the Album from the available list or in Coverflow.

This is something I've been wondering. I am a bit like you, I like being able to have a glance at emails or Facebook updates without having to log in, and I think it would be great to be able to turn off the notification switching the screen on, especially for emails as I do get a lot, and Facebook, but I somehow doubt it is possible.
I am currently monitoring how much this eats up my battery charge. On a normal day, after an overnight charge, I would probably still have 30%-40% left when I leave work in the evening. Nothing happens when I press space

I just downloaded Audition CC 2014, I used to have the installed version. I'm trying to get started, but after importing a wav file, I find that nothing happens when I press the space bar to start the playback. What could the issue be?

Thank you for the response. Nothing happens when I press the button or the space bar. I have look in the Audio Hardware settings, and ensured that my speakers were selected. I also tried using a headset and selecting it, same thing. I get no audio at all. I also am not able to record anything (not that I would want to until I could play back.)

Why video wont run by pressing space bar ?

Previously in Snow Leopard, when I went to a video filename and press space bar, the video will play.
But now in Mountain Lion (bcos I just bought the new slim iMac), the video wont play anymore when I press the spacebar.
But if I right click the filename and select "Play with" and choose Quick Time Player, it will play the video.
How do I make the video play straight away after pressing space bar ?

I know some of you had the same issue as me-- The space bar would not play the project anymore. It would just un-check layers in the Project pane.
For some odd reason it started working again about two days ago.
Does anybody have any ideas why?

Hey, I know that it seems to be linked to a tab through fields feature. Same thing here. After making a parameter change I have to Click on the playhead then use the space bar to play otherwise it will toggle on/off layers.
Also around the same time for me the scrub through playhead feature also is GONE. I cannot use the arrow keys to scrub a frame at a time. what a pain. And as outlined in a recent post for me I cannot simply click from app to app when motion is open. I must use "command+ tab" to switch app which is also a huge pain.
Now Ill that said Im convinced its not just a motion thing as much as it is a leopard deal. Im staring to thinks its the driver for the slimline keyboards which came out a few leopard updates ago.
