Whenever Firefox28 is started all youtube downloads also start. How to cancel them?

These downloads were started with the help of an add-on 'download helper'. Disabling this add-on does not help. Start Firefox. Downloads start! Download button and "show all downloads" don't show any downloads though they continue and are being saved in the specified directory. How to cancel such downloads.

They don't normally appear in the download screen ... until I attempt to download another movie. Then they just start appearing. If you click edit - a normal movie download has a circle that appears on the left hand side that allows you to select and delete ... these movies don't have that option so you need to find the movie in you list (under movies) and select the download cloud symbol again to stop it downloading ...you may need to do this a number of times before it stops for a while ... or until you try to download a movie then it starts all over again.
i have logged out of my itunes account. restarted the iPad, removed all movies, restarted the iPad, logged back into my iTunes account and restarted my iPad .... but as soon as I tried to download a single movies ... the other movies started appearing in the downloads again.

Re-start all jobs or re-start aborted jobs only?

In TDMS projects, sometimes we have to make a decision to re-start all jobs or re-start only aborted jobs.
We want to re-start only aborted jobs to save time as long as no inconsistencies would be created therefrom.
Could you tell me is it always OK to restart only aborted jobs? If not, what can be used as the criteria?

Generally where ever the option is available it is recommended to start only the aborted jobs unless and until you are sure of possible inconsistencies.

TV show HD download also starts Std. Def. download?

I just bought season 2 of Mad Men in HD, but iTunes also started downloading the standard definition versions of the episodes! Did something go wrong? Will I be billed for this season in both standard and high definition?

You ALWAYS get the SD version when you buy HD. This is so you can watch on an ipod or iphone.

Hi recently I received a popup MSG that iOS6 was available to download for my iPad. This also came with about 6 apps to download. However these Apps have now been installing for over two days, I have tried all sorts to try to stop or cancel them?

There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

Thanks Bro. I have backup. and I did the same thing twice but only 26 contacts appear on the device. Now again yesterday after your suggestion again I restored the device but the result was same. Then I thought a new thing. I restored the device one more time but after restoring I didn't configure the icloud account. After that I saved these 26 new contacts to my device which also saved in icloud but when I tried to backup on my pc it was not happening. the messege coming device disconnected. 2 days back my stolen device came online. Lost mode was activated by icloud. But what I think in between that time the other fellow must have deleted the phone contacts. And as per icloud also deleted the same. Only the 26 contacts which I saved in these 3 months remained in icloud. Now bro can u help me out? What I should do? I have 26 contacts in icloud and < 500 in my device. The built in apps can't be deleted. If you want them reset back to their original arrangement on your screen, go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. If your purchased apps are missing, either sync them back to your phone with iTunes or redownload them for free (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519).

In Safari, click Safari, next to the Apple Logo in the top left hand corner and select Reset Safari. This will open a new window which you click OK and resets Safari to default settings.

When i locate the songs i have bought in iTunes Store, and try to download them, a message telling me i have to pay for it again shows up. When i try this option in iTunes Check for available downloads, it tells me that there is no available downloads.

Compiz: How to start all windows maximized?

Hi all,
I'd like to start all windows maximized on my netbook running compiz. There is a an option in "Window Management/Window Rules/Matches". Putting a value of "class=" in the box will set all windows maximized but cannot be un-maximized.
Is there an option somewhere to start all applications maximized but allow to un-maximized them later on?

I need to start all over again! Help...

So, somehow or other, I still haven't quite figured out how, I have completely lost my Admin Password. My mac refuses to allow me to create a new password on the OSX disc; it tries to launch and then fails and shuts down.
I haven't been able to update in a month or so and now everything's starting to fall apart.
I need to go back to factory settings and start all this over again. How do I do that? ....y'know, without using the password that I don't have!
