Whenever I am listening to itunes on my iphone and plug it in to my USB in my car radio, the song stops and instead the first alphabetical song is played. Does anyone have any ideas?!
Whenever I am listening to itunes on my iphone and plug it in to my USB in my car radio, the song stops and instead the first alphabetical song is played. It also does this when it's been plugged in the car, and then I remove it, and it reverts back to the first alphabetical song. This has only happened after I updated my phone. Does anyone have any ideas?!
I appreciate the commentary response but I'm not sure how this resolved my problem. The car was made before the iPhone coming out. By this fact, it would seem as if Apple has not made the product to compliment cars made before it.
Can anyone provide me steps to resolve this issue please?

I've tried to d/l itunes 3 times and every time I get this message: .....Downloads\iTunesSetup.exe.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read. I have no idea what I'm doing. Does anyone have any ideas to help? Cheers.

This afternoon I was used my iPhone 3G. I then put it aside (it was left on) for about an hour. When I went to use it again, nothing happens. The home button will not call up the lock screen. The lock button will not turn the phone on, off, or lock it. When I plug it into iTunes, it recognizes it to sync. Also if someone tries to call me it will ring on their end, but nothing on my end.
The iPhone is over two years old (purchased in April 2009), so it is out of warranty. Also, everything is up to date on the iPhone.
Does anyone have any idea what the issue might be?

If you have a 3G you cannot update beyond iOS 4.2.1. The 3G is over 4 years old an was discontinued over 2 1/2 years ago. You need the latest ios to run the latest versions of some apps. If you have a 3GS you can update.
If your phone is not responding, reset it by pressing and holding down both the home button ad lock/ sleep button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. -
My songs that I purchased on my itunes account from my dad's computer will not play on my new computer, I have access to my entire account but can only play songs purchased using my new computer. Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you authorized the Computer to your Apple ID?
If not, sign on to iTunes.
Then got to the Store menu option at the top of the screen (CTL+B if it is not showing), and click on it to display the dropdown, and select Authorize this computer.
If that doesn't work, then sign on your Dad's iTunes ID and repeat the Authorization process.

Tap Camera App > switch to video > see if the flash will turn ON. If still problem, Restore your iPhone with iTunes on computer. See if fixed. If still problem, your iPhone has full Warranty with Apple.

My MacBook Pro (2010) is runnign very slow. This came on all of a sudden. It opens, closes, reboots, etc., all much slower than ever before. I have used the repair disk permissions without any positive result. Does anyone have any ideas?
First, back up all data immediately, as your boot drive might be failing.
Take these steps when you notice the problem.
Step 1
Launch the Activity Monitor application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Activity Monitor in the icon grid.
Select the CPU tab of the Activity Monitor window.
Select All Processes from the menu in the toolbar, if not already selected.
Click the heading of the % CPU column in the process table to sort the entries by CPU usage. You may have to click it twice to get the highest value at the top. What is it, and what is the process? Also post the values for % User, % System, and % Idle at the bottom of the window.
Select the System Memory tab. What values are shown in the bottom part of the window for Page outs and Swap used?
Next, select the Disk Activity tab. Post the approximate values shown for Reads in/sec and Writes out/sec (not Reads in and Writes out.)
Step 2
You must be logged in as an administrator to carry out this step.
Launch the Console application in the same way as above. Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left.
Post the 50 or so most recent messages in the log — the text, please, not a screenshot.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into a message.
Important: Some personal information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Edit it out before posting. -
I have installed a trial of Adobe illustrator on my macbook pro. It is the 2014 release of adobe illustrator. I want to trace an image using the custom trace button.
I start a new document. Then I place my scanned pencil/colored pencil drawing, in to the document. I have tried scanning and then placing it as a jpeg, bitmap, and tiff file. I have tried scanning and then placing it, in color and in black and white. The scan mode I use is flatbed. Adobe illustrator allows me to select the default button and one of eleven preset buttons (e.g high fidelity photo), but it does not allow me to click the custom trace button. The custom trace button is grey while all the other buttons are white.
Does anyone have any ideas how I could custom trace?It seems pointless to adjust it afterwards because it is then only a couple a pencil lines rather then a full drawing. And how do I adjust it afterwards? Would I do this using the different buttons under the window button?

I am using Logic Pro 9 with two MXL 990 microphones in my piano and a Rode NT1A for vocals. I have tried recording with added reverb and keeping getting not a natural reverb sound, but a rather "pixilated" one that does not sound natural. Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this issue? I have tried using Silververb and Space Designer, and both result in the same problems. Thank you!
This is asking for the impossible! It does not sound natural because maybe it isn't and in judging so whats your reference anyway. If you are in dire need of some natural sounding room you can go and record it yourself. But even then, the chances that it sounds like you imagined it, are very slim.
There are very decent sounding reverberation plugins, based on artificial reverb generators or convolution-style, the last one is said to sound more 'natural' then the first one. Be it as it maybe, it really is like cooking food. You got all the ingredients for this delicious taste at hand and believe it or not to reach a satisfying result this is not enough, because if you do not mix the ingredients in the right proportion you will end up with a different dish you thought you'll get. This is exactly the same when one would mix audio, I dare say.
So treat yourself to some good ingredients and the rest is up to you, namely: taste and experience!
And looking at some of my past music productions I always find the same plugins for the 'ambient' task:
Altiverb by Audio Ease when I have acoustic ensembles (classical music mostly), the Sony Oxford Reverb in studio productions, Bricasti when I have to deal with drums and MMultiBandReverb from MeldaProduction for all-round stuff. Thats the base I start from, after that I can end up with dozen Reverb plugins which basically all are doing the same thing but just in a tiny different way. -

My Mac has suddenly stopped playing my DVDs including a DVD it played fine only 3 days ago. I insert the DVD and wait for the player to start automatically but after 10 minutes, nothing is happening and it sounds like the disk has stopped spinning. I've now tried with four different DVDs (all store bought and so perfectly normal disks). The Mac doesn't eject the disk or anything it just doesn't seem to respond to it being there at all.
My main confusion is why this suddenly happened today when it was perfectly fine last week.
Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong and how I could fix it? Thank you.
