Whenever i click on the link in firfox the new advertisement window opens, want to get rid of it
whenever i click on the link i desire to open the new window opens with some advertisement which i do not want
search the word "ad" or "ad block" in the ADD-ONs section , and install one of these add-ons that blocks ads , i had this problem too, once i installed this one via add-on search , 90% of the adds wont open , but like i said 90 % , not all :

really two things: one: the last version of FF 3 keeps reappearing when, for example, links in emails require opening the browser. Example: an email from netflix with a link to the site which I clicked on to update some info. Instead of going to/thru the current browser FF4, the previous version appears---more accurately the "firefox updated" page for 3.16 or whatever it was. Why is this still there? Why is there more than one copy there in the first place, after updating?
also, related perhaps, why does the FF4 disk image and application folder always appear when I open FF4. Usually they go away after the update and first restart, but now they appear every time I open the browser? I have snow leopard 10.6.7 if that tell u anythingOnly if you had previously installed an app that would periodically email you its location. Not that the iPod has to br on and connected to the internet.

When running Firefox on a Linux (Ubuntu 11.10) machine, I get this bug at loose intervalls, (sometimes the name of thescript might be different) between 20 Minutes and 2 hours. It virtually stops the machine, you can barely use the mouse or the keyboard. Sometimes the machien freezes completely. Or I get all sorts of graphics faults, like lines flshing and jumping, or adding spaces int a text document a am just working on paralell to the browser.

Whenever I click on a link with the middle-mouse button, it opens multiple copies the link instead of only one (Version is 4.0.1). I have checked the mouse in other browsers and it doesn't behave oddly in them.
Does that happen if you {Ctrl + Click} the same hyperlinks?

Whenever I click to start putting details in the active field on browser web page a new window opens with advertise. I have to close this every time.
This happens also when I click on a youtube video link or any active tab.
I am fed-up.. I have stopped all plug-ins and add-ons, installed the browser again... still the problem persists.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

I bought about 350 musics on iTunes since I started using iPhone, but when I click on the link to see the items I have bought, iTunes shows me only 204 musics. This is a problem that annoys me because I have authorized a new device where I'd like to listen to all musics I have bought. I have already turned on the automatic transferences on the iTunes preferences so that all musics, books and apps are automatically transferred to the device. Even so, iTunes continues to show only 204 musics and I am not able to see all musics I have bought.
So, is there anything I'm missing here? Is there other local on iTunes where I could see all musics I have bought instead of only a subset of them?

MárcioJust to better clarify what is happening: when I click on the link to show the musics I have bought on iTunes, musics that I had already bought some time ago do not appear anymore. So, I'm not able to download them anymore. For instance, in the set of the musics iTunes does not show me anymore there are 17 Peter Gabriel's musics. They are not shown and I cannot download them. So, how could I be able to download all musics I have bought instead of only 204 musics?

This is a REALLY sneaky phishing scam that looks legitimate on the surface. I almost fell for it until I read the information more closely and noticed the many grammatical errors. I'm posting an alert on Facebook.

The problem was occurring in links on a web page I created for my home page with "target=_new". Changing this to "target=_blank" fixed the problem. The old links worked fine before version16. -

Another issue I have, which is sort of related .... if I click on a picture and there is a referral link embedded to a larger version of that picture when I go to save the image instead of having jpg, gif or png extension it's got htm extension on it... if I change the extension manually it's fine but it's still VERY annoying.
