Whenever I paste a photo to a blank photo on Photoshop Cs6 you cant see the photo
when you paste into a document a new layer should be added. Maks sure your not pasting in below other layer that will hide what you past in. Check your layers palette. Before pasting make sure you current top layer is Photoshop target.

My iPhone 4s takes horrible photos. The images are cloudy and half the time you can't see the objects/people.
Have you checked the camera lens to make sure it is clean and the plastic that covered the lens for shipment is removed? Does this only happen with flash pictures? If it is in a case, remove the iPhone from the case and take a flash picture and see if that makes a difference. The hole for the camera on some of the cases aren't big enough and can cause problems. Also some clear or light colored cases don't have a camera hole that is ringed in black. This can cause fogging.

just upgraded to OSX 10.8.1 on my 2008 macbook pro, and now when i sync my phone i cannot download photos to iphoto.
can't pull them in using image capture either.
changed my sync settings but that just tried to pull all my iphoto images onto my phone, which was not what i wanted either.
the old OS worked fine for this function but 10.8.1 not so much.
how to fix? need to be able to pull the photos off the phone, and need to be able to NOT pull all iphoto ONto the phone at each sync.

Can find no relevant documents other than the single image in the 9th of 9 Cameras.
The other 8 Cameras appear empty.
Am now trying an iCloud sync which appears to be showing the images.

I am unable to reinstall Photoshop CS6 (I do have the serial number) on my Macbook Pro 10.9.5 (Mavericks os). and am getting the message "Installation on case-sensitive volumes is not supported. Please choose a different volume for installation." I am further told that "Adobe apps cannot be installed on case-sensitive drives, you need to Install the product onto an HFS+ or HFSJ non-case-sensitive drive."
What I don't understand is this: I originally bought and installed Photoshop CS6 back in March 2013, and it worked fine. Yesterday my hard drive had to be replaced and my computer person salvaged as much of what was on it as he could, but now I have to reinstall Photoshop. 1) Why did it work before and it's not working now? 2) Is there anything I can do that does not involve reformatting the hard drive?It means what it says. The "computer person" formatted it wrongly/ unsuitably. it needs to be formatted again.

I cannot open a photo in my CS6 product. I can see the photos on the bottom of my screen, but when
I cannot open my photos in my CS6 product. I can see the photos at the bottom of my sdcreen, but when I try to open one, I see the little blue circulating circle for about three seconds, then it changes to a plus sign, and nothing else happens.

If I'm in LIghtroom 5, and try to Edit in Photoshop CS6, I always get the following message: "This version of Lightroom may require the Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in version 8.6 for full compatibility." But I have updated to 8.6 and have no remaining updates. How can I fix this?
If I click "Open Anyway" or "Render using Lightroom", I get the following message:
"Adobe Photoshop CS6 cannot be opened because of a problem.
Check with the developer to make sure Adobe Photoshop CS6 works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and OS X."
Please tell me what to do so I can edit from Lightroom to Photoshop.In Photoshop, if you choose Help - About Plug-in... - Camera Raw, does it say 8.6?
Seems to me there was some hiccup they found in the update process, which prompted this:
Camera Raw updates cannot be applied
I honestly don't know if the problem could apply to 8.6 as well, which is why I asked you to check to make very sure you really got it.

After updating iPhoto to 9.2, Photoshop CS2 doesn't display the photo on the desktop screen, even though the image is shown in the Navigator pallet well to the right.
No, that is the problem. I don't see how it should be, but that is what happened after I did the upgrade, which was for iPhoto 9.2. The upgrade then required that the Library be upgraded. Then CS2 stopped showing the photo when I opened CS2. Maybe there was a system upgrade for the whole system, that went along with 9.2. Before the upgrade CS2 worked. I even tried photos that I had on backup disks, and they wouldn't show in CS2 even though I had draged them to the PS icon in the dock. These photos were not on my computer when the Library was upgraded. I even tried photos fresh from the camera. Elements 9 does work to open the photos.

PC windows 7 lightroom 5.5 Photoshop CC 2014. When editing pictures 'edit in' merge to panorama in photoshop CC 2014, photoshop opens but none of the photos open up to makes panorama. Can anyone help? It used to work with Photoshop CC and lightroom 5.4

I just bought lightroom 5. I had lightroom 3. Now when I export my photos from lightroom 5 and upload them into my photoshop elements program to edit the photo files are at 100% zoom percentage. When I upload photos from my old lightroom 3 program they come into photoshop at 14% zoom percentage which is what I want them to come in at so I can zoom them in to detail the skin. What might have changed settings wise between the 2 programs, I cannot figure it out.

great Problemes after installing Yosemite (10.10.2 ) with Photoshop CS6....The program crashes --last time 10 times during my work session..wacomtable doesnt work..it is slow...and get error messages about the graphic card....It s a Terror to work with my beloved Photoshop!
The Yosemite upgrade very often damages existing Photoshop installations. Thank Apple for that.
You need to uninstall and re-install Photoshop, then apply all the Photoshop upgrades from scratch.

Is it necessary to remove the Photoshop CS6 Beta before installing the trial?
I installed the CS6 Design and Web Premium trial while I wait for my ordered update disk to arrive. I have the PS CS6 Beta installed and I note that the trial installation did not install CS6 Photoshop or CS6 Bridge. ????????????
In the future please remove beta software prior to installing released versions of the software. Presently I would recommend you uninstall not only the Photoshop CS6 beta but also the Design and Web Premium trials as well. Once the software has been removed, including the beta, you can then try the reinstall again.
Hopefully it will be as simple as this but if not please feel free to respond to this thread with any additional difficulties which arise. -
When i load up Photoshop CS6 it loads up the Administrators Account for some reason and it is quiet irritating if someone can help please respond as i would like to continue using Photoshop.
If you are using someone else's computer, then you need to get the Admin to sign in so you can run PS.
If it's your own computer, then you need to know the Admin's password so you can work. Better yet, YOU need to be the Admin. -

Well actually it would be a DVD given the size, which is what Adobe used before they went to download. Most PCs and Macs have stopped shipping with DVD drives and downloads are the way to go, especially with fast connections.
If you open the Adobe .dmg file on a Mac, the installer actually mounts as a virtual DVD.
So yes, better to download and save it to an external drive. If a DVD got damaged, you would have had to order and wait for the replacement disc to arrive. Now anything from CS3 to CC 2014 can be downloaded from Adobe, no replacement charges and no shipping. -

It appears that Adobe originally designed Full Screen Preview to be a special viewing mode of the underlying mode. So if you invoke Full Screen Preview from Grid Mode, Cycle Info Display doesn't work and the arrow keys work with selections just as they do in regular Grid Mode, not as in Loupe Mode. But according to employee Becky Sowada, Adobe is reconsidering this design; see the 9/17 thread in this topic:
