Whenever I select voicemail, it says the number is unavailable from my service. Please help?
Whenever I call my voicemail or 101 to check voice messages, it rings until a voice says "the number I have called is unavailable from this service" and tells me to enquire something. Ringing other numbers and texting is working fine, except voicemail and 101. Please help

Voicemail is primarily a function of the cellular provider. You may want to discuss the issue with them.

Since the upgrade of Aperture, my photos from a year ago are not showing up. You will be restoring the old Aperture library from TM, having it on the Desktop is fine.
Once the restore is finished you will have the old Aperture library in that folder. Now you want to open this library by double clicking it (the library). This will open Aperture on it and Aperture will tell you the library needs to be upgraded. Let Aperture upgrade the library.
Once the Library is upgraded to the latest version of Aperture you can do want you want with it. Once you have gotten to this point if you still need help post back.

we get a message that says "the safari cant verify the identity of the web page". thats the message we get with every web page we visit. and when we press continue it doesnt load up the web page properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have tried, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. My Macbook is running 10.5.8. I have cleared my cache, cookies and browsing and download history. Sometimes I get so far as to be able to access my accounts page and then I can't access any other page on the site like on-line bill pay. Mostly, nothing happens after I put in my user ID. Sometimes I get an "error with the server," and sometimes I don't. Sometimes one user ID gets me a little futher (to the passwords page) and sometimes it doesn't. I've downloaded Adobe Shockwave Flash. This is not happening with any other sites and my husband can access the BOA site with his computer using the same user Id's and passwords using the same internet connection I am using. Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated!

Java 1.4.x is no longer supported, which is why it's off.
If you're still not getting functionality, try enabling it for a short time in case they're using old code.
The only other thing I can think of is that they're using later versions because of the security issues and may not be compatible, but I'm guessing there. (Lion was up to 1.6.0_35 I think - may be higher by now).
Time for someone with a deeper knowledge of Java than me.
I know we have a number of Java developers contributing to the forums, hopefully one will pick it up.

First of all Knight of NI is my title. Crossrulz is my alias.
Secondly, Sample Rate is the same as Samples Per Second. But you want to make sure your sample rate and number of samples gathered are the same from both sources. I would also turn off the Actual Time (or whatever it is called) in the Simulate Signal so that it just gives you the sine wave instead of using time to generate it.

You will have to restore using itunes.... if that doesn't work, try entering dfu mode before restoring

I receive an error message whenever I try to send text messages to new contacts. It says the number is invalid and to enter a 10 digit number. I have tried entering the phone number with the area code and without the area code. Any ideas?
Same problem here. I've deleted the contact and had them text me, but when I try to text them back I get the same invalid number message! So frustrating! Please help!

Regarding iMessage, when i want to send text to a person in my contacts app, i've been getting a message saying the number has not been registered with iMessage. How can one fix this problem? It works on the iPhone.
It takes two to tango, maybe it's your recipient that has weak Internet/Cellular connections.

i just downloaded photoshop elements 7.0 to a new box and it tells me that my serial number is not valid. the adobe support team says the number is valid, but that they can't help me
Which operating system are you using?
When you say downloaded, where did download pse 7 from?
Do you have the original install disk or original download for pse 7?
I believe the serials won't interchange between the disk version of pse 7 and the electronic down load version. -

Did the serial number come from a boxed set and previously installed from disc and are you now trying to install from a download?
If so, that will not work - the serial numbers are different.
If you don't have a dvd drive on your new system, perhaps you could get someone to copy your disc to a memory stick and install from that.

Trying to install Elements 13 and it asks for a serial number. The instructions say the number should start with 1057 but there is no code on the disks, box or envelopes the disks came in that start with 1057. I cannot activate the software without this code and it is a Christmas gift to my wife. HELP!
I had this problem. There are actually two boxes. The outside one with the photos and stuff and glued into it is another box containing the disks. That box has the serial number. Adobe was NO help with this as if no one else ever could not find it. I had to rip open the outer box.

You can't do anything, except use a different device (or a Mac) to setup iCloud and then transfer the details to the phone you bought.
Clearly your friend setup multiple iCloud accounts for some reason (you only need one) using up all the allocation for that device, and didn't tell you before selling you the phone. -
I have limited space on my new ipad. How can I limit the number of songs from my itunes on my imac from going to my ipad when I connect the two?
you can do this by keeping the external hard drive connected and doing the following
-hold shift key down on computer while opening iTunes and a prompt will appear to choose a library
-select choose library, iTunes should bring up your explorer windows where you can search for the external HD
-after you find the external HD find the iTunes folder you just copied to it
-after opening the iTunes folder look for the file that says iTunes library.itl or if you can't see that extenstion just look for a document looking thing in the iTunes folder that shows up as a database file
-double click the database file and boom iTunes should load your library without having to copy it to the computer
PS: do make sure that if you are going to do it this way, make sure that the external HD is connected at all times, because if you don't then you will get exclamation marks next to your iTunes songs
double PS: if you are unsure how to find out if the iTunes library file is a database file just right click it and choose properties and under the type it should say database file

Let me state up front this post does not involve the use of Skype numbers. I am living in Victoria, Australia and use Skype Credit from my computer to phone landlines overseas. Approximately two weeks ago I started to get the message "the number is unavailable" when trying to phone my cousin and his wife on their landline in Connecticut, U.S.A. (Area 1203). It is only happening with their number. It is not happening with the phone number for another cousin in New York State (area 1845). My cousin's wife in Connecticut has confirmed there have been no changes made to their telephone service. I deleted this contact from my list and recreated it but am still getting the message "the number is unavailable" whenever I try to call. Has anyone come across this problem? Thank you.

Go to Solution.As I do not know how to edit/update my original post I am choosing to reply to my own post. This morning, I decided to once again try to get through to the Connecticut number of my cousin using my Skype Credit and to my surprise, this time it worked. I did not get the message "this number is unavailable". As previously reported, about three weeks ago I started to get this message. I learned last night from my brother, also in Australia, that he too had not got through successfully. As it was only this number we had a problem getting through to, maybe the fault was to do with my cousins provider? Thank you to all who viewed my original post. I hope this reply, while not exactly discovering why I was having difficulties getting through, will let you all know it is working again. Best wishes.
