Whenever I try to access websites such as google, hotmail and some other ones. Why does this happen?

So Im suddenly unable to access some websites. It says error and some other stuff like check your internet connection. I've tried everything I can think of. My antivirus program removed all virus that I had so my computer is now virus free. So if this issue is not caused by virus, then what is it? I mean, I can access all websites I want on my smartphone with the same connection, but on the computer it just doesnt work.

What Operating System and what security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

If it sounds like a RAM issue it could be one of the RAM chips has failed. You could try removing the RAM one at a time and see if it starts with one still installed.

When I open up a new tab on firefox, the bar shows that the tab is there, but when I click on it, it is the same page as what I have before. When I try to change the page on the "new tab" the original tab changes. Why does this happen and how do I fix it?

Despite my spell check being set, it does not work in Hotmail and some other websites.

I have the setting for spell check set up but it does not work on some sites like hotmail. I go to the spell check button in hotmail and it tells me that my browser will automatically check as I type but it doesn't. I've searched to override this or to get the spelling checked independently but without any luck, Any suggestions?

Not all locales come with a dictionary installed for licensing reasons.
If you do not have the en-US locale then check that you have a dictionary installed (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions).
You can see which dictionary is selected if you right-click in a text area and open the ''Languages'' submenu.
Also make sure that [[X]"Check Spelling" in the right-click context menu has a tick.
You can also try to toggle the "Check Spelling" item off and on again.

I had this exact same problem. I found this fix and it worked for me.
Step 1:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support and copy the filen named QTMovieWin.dll.
Step 2:
Browse and past that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.
Hope this helps you. I wish I could remember where I saw this originally so I could thank them.

Everytime I try to use FF, dozens of pop ups come up saying FF wants to use various Fuji and Fusi fonts. Nothing I do seems to stop these popups and it takes me 10 minutes before I can use FF. why does this happen; how can I stop it.

The specific message runs something like this: Firefox wants to use Fuji Extended Bod Italic on the volume WD startup. It is not installed. Allow Firefox to use it?
I can choose allow or don't and there is a checkbox that says "do not ask me again." no combination of these options stops the progression of pop ups, which can last for minutes and will start all over again next time I start firefox.

Among the alternatives not mentioned... Using a TiVo DVR, rather than the X1; a Roamio Plus or Pro would solve both the concern over the quality of the DVR, as well as providing the MoCA bridge capability the poster so desperately wanted the X1 DVR to provide. (Although the TiVo's support only MoCA 1.1.) Just get a third-party MoCA adapter for the distant location. Why the hang-up on having a device provided by Comcast? This seems especially ironic given the opinions expressed regarding payments over time to Comcast. If a MoCA 2.0 bridge was the requirement, they don't exist outside providers. So couldn't the poster have simply requested a replacement XB3 from the local office and configured it down to only providing MoCA bridging -- and perhaps as a wireless access point? Comcast would bill him the monthly rate for the extra device, but such is the state of MoCA 2.0. Much of the OP sounds like frustration over devices providing capabilities the poster *thinks* they should have.

Such errors shows as RED text. 
You need to correct at least all codes marked as red text.

Downloads just disappear from the specified location such as "Desktop" or "My Documents".They are untraceable afterwards.Why does this happen?And because of this I have uninstalled Firefox and now use Chrome.

I have been using Firefox for almost a year now,and had upgraded to Version 7 recently.
My problem started with the downloads.
1) When a download is to be commenced,a box appears with two options,namely "SAVE" and "CANCEL".
Even when I click on "SAVE",the the box shows it as 'cancelled'.When I right click on the box,another dialogue box appears with a number of choices ,the top one reads 'RETRY'.
When I click this option the download starts and it is shown in the chosen location until 99% is completed,bu the moment the download is complete,the item i.e. the downloaded item just disappears from the chosen location and is not traceable thereafter.This has happened to me repeatedly over the past week or so and I am so disgusted that I have been compelled to uninstall Firefox,and have started using Chrome.
Please help,as I would like to get back to using Firefox again but without the above problems.

Understood. However, the point that I'm trying to make is that it's not the WiFi access point's security that's in question, it's having your phone's WiFi in an always-on mode that's in question. It's simple: if your phone's WiFi is on, then it is both discoverable and hackable... even when it's not connected to a WiFi network or access point. The point is that it's not secure to have your phone's WiFi in an always-on mode. It would be better for privacy and security if Apple made WiFi location aware so that it is only enabled when you are at a trusted location (e.g. your home or office). Or, at least give us the option of location aware WiFi so that each user can determine the best mode for their phone:
(1) Always-On (current default - not secure and many privacy issues).
(2) Trusted mode (only on at trusted locations).
(3) Off.

Sounds like you have abn expired credit card linked o yoru accopunt.
View your iTunes account payment info and select None for the CC.
You may need to first add a valid card number before you can remove it.
