it happens every time I try to download- it could be a song, or a word document. size does not seem to matter. When i relog in, something will be downloaded, but it will be like 300 bytes, nothing like the whole file.
Have you tried leaving it to hang for 5 minutes?

With FF8, home button opens a new tab (on homepage) instead of moving the active tab on homepage.
I'm using Vista, tried to uninstall and install FF8, had no effect.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I am trying to delete duplicate content in my iTunes library. I have stopped the download and I can see them on VIEW>Displaying Duplicates, but cannot delete them with the Delete button. Can anyone assist?
If you've paused the download (they are partially greyed out on the duplicates screen ?) then you will need to delete them from download window, you can't (as far as I know) delete partially downloaded items from that screen. When you have items downloading, or downloads that are paused, you should have a downward pointing arrow at the top right of the iTunes screen
If you click that arrow you should get a popup window with the items that are downloading/paused - and you should be able to select and delete them (or resume their download) from there. -

This has come up before, and after some experimentation, there's not a straightforward way to do it.
There are two possible solutions that I can think of:
1. Write your own custom bean and/or extend the beans provided to modify them to your needs.
2. Wait for the 3.2 release at the end of the month. This release provides custom data tags with much finer grained control over specific items such as the buttons.
I think 2 is preferable, if you have the time to wait. -

Were these photo albums synced onto the iPad through iTunes? If so, the only way to remove them is to do another sync (from the same computer) without the ones you want gone.

Whenever I try to open Firefox it says cannot establish connection, maybe your firewall is preventing us from accessing the web. Sometimes you only disable the user interface of security software, but the firewall or anti-virus services are still running in the background.
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I am on an HP pavilion running Windows7, and for the past couple of days, whenever I try to open the FireFox browser, or a new tab, all I get is a blank screen. The URL bar is empty, and gives the prompt: type an address. When I try to type in the address, and hit either the enter button, or the go button on the browser, I get a spinning circle, and then no response.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

I have the iphone 4 and PC with Windows Vista Basic. When I bought my iPhone syncs with iTunes on my computer, but now when I try to sync it tells me that Mobile Device Service was closed and I can not synchronize the phone. Try restarting Mobile Device Service and uninstall and reinstall Itunes but still giving me the same error.

whenever i try to download something, such as a application or update, safari quits. this also occurs whenever i try to download something on all of my other web applications. so pretty much, it won't let me download something or even update software.

I have an apple ID, I'm trying to use this to update and download apps etc. however, whenever I try this, it keeps asking me to use my old ID, which is attached to an email that no longer exists! I can't download or update anything! Help!
You can log out of the currently logged in account by taping on the id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and you can then log back in.
If you updated your existing account with a new email address then that shoud 'refresh' it on it
If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can redownload its content and download updates to its apps. You should be able to update an account's email address via this page : http://appleid.apple.com
